Another: Memory of Another World
Ch. 23 Fallen

The monster swung its spear, creating a hot but dense blaze of flames surrounding itself. To hold the three people to keep moving forward. A fire with two different types of formulas struck the wall like a tidal wave smashing into a reef, creating a flame tongue that flared uncontrollably. Then the monster pointed its spear into the air, splitting the pillar of light that fell right on top of it.

Weak, they are weak. // Think of the monster while paying attention to the antique behavior of the humans. // Could it be that I put too much strength into killing the man with a single kick? He and the golden-haired little boy gave off a similar vibe. Bizarrely.

His sense of perception was suddenly triggered, the monster immediately jumped back without thinking twice. A moment later, the roots of a tree as thick as a python tore through the ground and twisted trying to catch it.

Cheap trick, he commented with a small snort. The monster raised its arms, the red spear hovering above its palm with a bright light. Then the spear flew to a strange black dot lodged in the body of every living creature. The monster did not know the true effect of the ability, but it was suitable to detect the enemy behind the barrier.

The monster could clearly see how the man was avoiding the fire spear that suddenly came towards him.

The wall of fire was finally destroyed after the monster waited long enough. He was quite surprised when he saw the person who entered first was not a human, but rather an easy woman who was a transparent blue. It was quite strange to see how the clothes of the woman would always float like they were in water.

"••~••~••••••~••~•~" (♪)

The woman sings with very sweet air. Even though the monster did not understand the meaning behind his words, he inevitably felt lured to the woman. His intuition was that the woman was not a normal living being, but who cared about it? //I am also getting tired of those bitches.

A collection of water in the shape of a crescent moon formed in front of him, then flew towards the monster. However, the lump of water evaporated first before hitting his skin that had not fully recovered.

Boring, should I let the subordinates beat them up? Other than the white-haired youth who had died, only the golden-haired child only looked strong. They were at least at the level of a Goblin Battle Master. But no more than that. // The monster swung his hand, throwing fireballs at the young woman. The flames condensed, turning into long chains of bright red.

While the woman struggled to escape from the chain of flames wrapped around her, a disheveled red-haired young man who looked furious lunged forward with a loud roar. The young man jumped with a large axe on his head. The monster created another fire spear immediately, then he held the axe with one hand, seemingly unimpressed.

"Yahhhhhh!!!"

Once again his perception of danger was triggered but when he was about to switch positions, the swing of the huge axe had blocked the path of the Orge monster. Dispelling the axe swing was trivial, but one second was more than enough for the roots to wrap around his legs. Initially only 2 root twists, then increases and continues to grow until it resembles a large tree made of combined roots. In fact, the monster doubted whether it could still be called a root.

Arthur had reached the left side of the monster, raising his sword high. The flames could be clearly seen on the body of the sword. Meanwhile, Antares was on the right side of the monster raising his left hand. Percival and the others stood behind the Barbarian. The man who always looks angry himself actually backs off.

His perceptual danger was triggered once again. This time it was much more intense than before.

"Burn up, [Prometheus]!" The brown-armored blonde youth shouted to the end of his lungs. He swung his sword from top to bottom without holding himself back. Releasing the fire energy waves that resemble a laser.

The golden-haired little boy on the other hand released a huge wave of flames accompanied by a thunderstorm. Compared to Arthur's attack, Antares's fire wave appears far more terrifying.

Not only did it get there, pillars of light fell from the sky and pillars of lightning gushed from the ground. All at the same time.

The monster tried to move its limbs, but it took 0.01-1 second to destroy the winding of the tree. When the monster broke free, he was already bathed in attacks from all sorts of directions that formed fire tornadoes and thunderbolts.

"Kriekeve!"

"Kinkifluck!"

The monster could hear cries of admiration from his subordinates. While others were excited to see his master come out of the fire tornado unharmed.

In fact, that's what happened.

Shouts broke out from the goblins. Everyone cheered for the red Orge.

Arthur swallowed his own saliva hard. His trembling body immediately calmed down with a green light enveloping him.

What the fuck is that monster! How could he not be hurt in the least? Didn't Saga manage to injure him just a moment ago? // Arthur screamed in his heart.

The figure standing in front of him was like becoming bigger and bigger as time went on. Strength, dexterity, skill, and stamina were far beyond the limits of ordinary humans. He didn't even sweat a bit!

"Then it's my turn to attack." the monster bends its knees.

Suddenly time slowed down, so slow that it frightened Arthur.

The orge disappears from Arthur's sight. When the young man was about to turn his head around, Mana the spear had pierced Antares' body. The boy spewed out a dark red liquid with bulging eyes. Then the boy fell to the ground after the Orge pulled out his spear.

"Matures!"

"Aaaaaargh!!" Sigur roared loudly while running towards the Orge. That speed was able to surpass the best war horse easily, but before the monster was nothing. (Bombs!) And Sigur bounced to the cave tombok. Caused a small earthquake once again.

"We have to run away from here!" Hiiro said in a panic.

"Go, I'll keep him here with Arthur. Right captain?" Percival looked at Arthur with the most serious expression he had ever displayed.

Arthur looked at his own hand which continued to tremble until this moment. Then he clenched it, "Arthia go with them."

"No!" Answer the girl firmly. Arthur looked at Arthia, and vice versa, making the atmosphere even more tense.

"Oh, no need to fight. You can kill anyone who runs away." The monster commands all goblins present at the time.

Then all the Goblins began to move narrowing the space of the adventurers.

"Noril, I leave the rest to you." Arthur said in a soft tone. There was no answer from the other party, but Arthur knew that he would do everything he could to save his partner.

Noril moved to the other side of the Goblins right ahead of the only passageway to the outside world. A dark aura immediately spread from his body. Dark and thick but elastic resemble the tentacles of unknown creatures.

"Go!"

Arthur shouted while running towards the red Orge accompanied by Percival. Noril himself darted into the crowd of expressionless Goblins, for a moment his appearance was much more terrifying than the monster itself.
