Another: Memory of Another World
Ch. 22 Gratitude

A bright red spear was lifted into the air, then swung down with incredible force. The swing does not cause a frictional sound in the air, because the air itself is burned by the heat of the spear.

Stabilizing himself, Saga activated the [Light of Dawn]. The glow of light gushed from below like the raging of nature, thick and deadly. The two attacks met each other, producing beautiful fireworks. Undeniably, the Orge's attack was strong enough to break through layer after layer of light pickaxe, stopping just a step away from Saga.

"Aargha!" But the Orge screamed in pain.

[Light of Dawn] was a light-type skill that had two effects, namely purification and disintegration at the cellular level. This was one of the strongest skills below the Demigod level. Where a person's body is forcefully decomposed bit by bit. What's more, Saga activates as an AoE attack. It would be like thousands of needles piercing your entire body at the same time.

More than that, Saga activates using all the mana and life force he has, strengthening it to a level that surpasses the orge's magical defenses.

The Orge immediately jumped back in a hurry. His previously macho and large body, now filled with blood. Looking at his own hand, he felt his entire body throbbing to the point of almost driving him crazy. 'What's going on? How could he do that?' maybe he was thinking like that.

The suppressing aura immediately disappeared, without the slightest remnant. Everyone could move freely again, but Saga looked extremely pale as if she had lost too much blood. His breathing was heavy, and he seemed to be able to fall at any moment. It was because he had almost used all of his life force to withstand the attack. 'It's a pity it didn't kill him' decak Saga inwardly.

There are several reasons why Saga committed such a suicide. First he would die if he did not do so, especially due to the difference in levels exceeding 60 levels, Saga would instantly die if exposed to such an Attack. Second, because he believed that Thalia would be able to cure him. Third, Saga hopes that they can kill the goblins a little faster and help him immediately.

"[Hope for Life]" A soft word echoed from behind him. A soft, bright green aura immediately surrounded Saga, eliminating any kind of fatigue lodged in the body of Saga.

Saga took a deep breath, then refocused on the monster in front of him.

The monster was now in a state of concern, where his entire skin disappeared with some parts of his body. Until he looked like a walking Ghoul. The regeneration skill he had was working well, but it still took him a little while until he fully recovered.

"Buckoo... I'll kill you, no, I'll cut off your hands and feet and throw them in the wolf cage! Raar!!" He roared furiously, making the feathers of Saga's saddle stand up.

The monster suddenly appeared above the Saga without any sign, leaving a shadow where it stood originally that disappeared moments after. Doubting her own abilities, Saga chose to jump backwards.

"Ugh-h!" But a big, hard object hit him right in the stomach. It was the monster's leg! He kicked Saga so hard that the young man was afraid that his spine would crack.

(Bam!!)

A loud blunt sound was heard when Saga hit the wall on the other side of the room. The collision caused a small earthquake that shook the entire cave. Make stalagmite rocks fall.

"The saga!" Arthur and Percival shouted loudly. However, they can only grit their teeth hard.

Saga did not move, his sword slipped out of his grasp and fell onto the cave floor. The sound when the sword touched the earth was not loud, but it was like sending a message filled with terror to everyone.

"He's dead..." Thalia said with a trembling tone. Hiiro immediately looked at the girl, but Thalia's expression made the scream at the end of the young man's throat disappear. It was a pure expression of fear and terror.

Yeah, that was a one hit kill. It was impossible for Saga to survive the full assault of level 50 monsters peppered [Mana Burst] as well as the blessings of a high-level entity. He's getting instant death.

Of all the people who were there, only Antares remained expressionless. The fact that the Saga did not immediately turn into the Night Watcher was clear evidence that Ren was messing with the situation.

"He just died? a pity. But I'll be softer to you." He was clearly different from an ordinary Orge. How to talk, how to fight, how to walk. He was like a veteran who was skilled at finding the opponent's weaknesses, and igniting them to the surface.

All the goblins slowly retreated as their king stepped down from his throne area. Each step was punctuated by laughter from the goblins. But to humans, the sound of footsteps was more frightening than the thousands of Goblins behind them.

Until he arrived on the floor of the last rung, the monster took the last step and stood on the same floor as the Crimson Vortex and two others.

"Well then, why don't we just start, slaughter it." The monster moved the remaining muscles in its mouth. He's not hurt in the face, maybe he's smiling right now. But all the skin and muscles there almost disappeared.

The monster did not let out its aura anymore, but to those people, its body seemed to have grown to reach the ceiling of the cave. Big, strong, and scary are the right words to describe that feeling.

Everyone knew they were going to die here, so they decided to pick up their guns.

"You really comforted me." Said the monster with a small laugh.

Hiiro instantly unleashed several arrows made of mana but was driven away easily. Sigur immediately shot forward followed by Arthur and Percival. Antares sighed for a moment before following them from behind. Not yet they arrived, some arrows flew back towards the monster with waves of magical energy creeping on the ground.

It was Arthia's technique, it seemed like she would focus on being a support and damage dealer this time around. Not forgetting the two also buff everyone with [Bless] and [Bless of Fairy Court].

The arrows were driven away easily, while the energy waves were avoided by turning his body. "Come!" Shouted the monster.

"Welloooooo!" Sigur swung his lightning-lined weapon blindly. The attack was very powerful, where it would destroy a hill in one swing. But for the monster, it was not a serious matter. He dodged, dispelled, then gave a relaxed counterattack.

"Call the light!"

"[Frometheus]!"

"[Firestorm]!"

The first round ended tragically. The second round of fighting in the goblin cave finally began.
