Another: Memory of Another World
Ch. 17 Dreams and Hope

(Bombs!)

The sound of the door hitting the wall rang out loud. Until the person who saw it was grateful because the wall of the house was not destroyed because of the impact. A twilight old grandfather with a mighty body walked in like he was about to strangle someone. His face was so horrible that the person in the house who saw him would scream hysterically in fear. But the house remained silent.

A child who seemed half conscious was sitting in a long chair in the dining room while holding himself back to sleep. It was as if the bowl plates and trash scattered on the table did not bother him at all.

Seeing the boy, Steve suddenly fell silent. He felt guilty for suddenly rushing in and waking him up from his sleep. Steve forgets that Antares has a habit of sleeping after lunch because his biological clock is a bit chaotic. Although she never looked exhausted, the children were still children.

"Oh, Steve... you've been... back... (zzzzzzzzzt~)"

The people who witnessed that could only laugh a little, especially the saga that clearly did not hide his smile.

"He needs more rest." Steve walked into the house without making much noise. Then he lifted Antares up with both hands, and led him into the room.

"I think we should wait until he wakes up. Although I still doubt if the boy can help." Hiiro lightly beat.

"I feel like he can do it, hehehe, after all that kid is the same as me." Saga continued to laugh like a genie, which surprised his comrades.

"Err, can you explain it in more detail?" Ask Arthia.

Saga just smiled, then pointed her finger at her neck. The mark was clear, straight lines like pieces of a sword and lines upright like twelve stitches. Instantly, the adventurers also gasped.

"What are you guys really talking about?" The head came along with a two-man guard. Both of them nodded out of curiosity about the topic.

"It's not really strange, but it's also very rare." Arthur took a breath. "When one becomes a servant of a god, usually they will have distinctive features. Thalia for example, her skills in life magic and druidic magic improved greatly because she was a cleric of the Earth Goddess, Liira. In this case, mas Saga and the boy are servants of the God of Dreams and Collar with the tattoo as a sign."

"The God of Dreams and Colonialism? I've only heard his name without seeing his followers for real. It is unexpected that you are one of the followers of the god, mas Saga."

"Winning right for people like us is very rare. We don't even have a temple to do worship." Saga just laughed.

"Why is it like that? Is this Dream God some kind of evil god?" Percival asked with a serious face.

"Maybe, hahaha. I wouldn't be surprised if he was like that, but one thing is for sure, nothing will change even if he's an evil god." Saga returned to her usual serious nature, after saying a sentence that gave her comrades goosebumps just like that.

"I've read that the followers of the dream god are crazy, I don't think it's entirely wrong." Thalia shook her head.

"Rather than madness, it is more appropriate to call it the inability to feel emotions. Our alignment is mostly Neutral, rather than Evil." The saga is not provoked.

"Then how did you become a follower of the God of Dreams, Saga?" Samantha who entered the house finally opened her voice.

"Hm, that's a long story that traumatized me enough. You want to hear it, Samantha?"

Samantha gave a guilty expression, while Percival and Hiiro took it for granted. "Saga's dark past, I want to know!"

At the same time, Steve came out of Antares' room. "His condition has fully recovered, let him sleep for a few minutes and Antares will return to his normal state." He said with a soft.

"Understand me, let's talk outside then." Arthur gave a small nod.

"By the way, aren't you paying enough attention to that kid grandpa? Is he your grandson?" Hiiro asked with a mischievous smile.

"No, he's like a pest that always worries me."

Everyone just laughed at Steve's words. Because that's how he is. No matter how he looked, he was still a weak parent to a small child.

"We've sent Noril and Sigur to monitor the surrounding area. And there's still no specific change." Arthur answered lightly.

"You guys sent Barbarian as a spy?" Steve half believed.

"True, don't underestimate our Berserker! In addition we will wait until the child wakes up, thanks to Saga. And finally we have a chance to know Saga's past, I won't let go of this opportunity!" Hiiro spoke with excitement like a mother when he saw the price cut.

Then the men came out of the house of Antares one by one. They sat under a large, lush tree not far from the Antares house. Thalia felt the tree pulse through her palm, allowing life energy to flow into her. Then there was a smile on his beautiful face. He was immersed in the sensation until the noisy voices of his friends in the back were no longer heard.

(pa!)

Then Thalia was struck with a palm that landed on her shoulder.

"Is it that good until you don't hear my call, Thalia?" Arthia asked with a small laugh. Her beautiful face was shining under the clear sky today. Now it becomes more perfect with a big smile that adorns it.

"Ah sorry, I was too immersed in the beauty of nature. You know, this tree is filled with life energy like a child humming with joy." Thalia looked back at the tree.

"I don't have the ability to feel it, but you know, even a hermit needs lunch." Arthia said as she pointed towards her trunk. There was already a complete set of rural-style food that seemed ordinary, but the aroma of yamg let out made Thalia's stomach scream. Samantha was serving a bowl of warm soup with thick sauce and also some brown bread.

"All right." Thalia blushed in embarrassment, while giving a small nod.

The food this time was provided by the villagers on the direction of the village chief. Although there was no obligation to do so from the guild. Of course they were still willing to entertain the rescue that saved their lives.

"Ah, then we should have a party for Antares, shouldn't we?" Knock on one of the guards without much thought.

"Of course, in fact I've prepared everything, for tonight! And since Antares is awake, you can start preparing!" Whisper the village chief to the guard.

"really! Then we'll make it so festive that the Antares will never forget it!"

"Don't think of anything, he survived the monster wave and died from a glut!" Steve scolded them loudly.

The adventurers just laughed seeing the interaction between the villagers. Especially Hiiro who looks the least burden.

"Haha, how could they still plan to make a party under these circumstances? Aren't they too relaxed?"

"Either they fully believe in us or are sure it will be safe to see tomorrow." Percival laughed. "But this soup is delicious! Is this some kind of magic?"

"Maybe, even if I don't know that much." Athia just shook her head. "Sir guard, how can this soup be so good?"

"Do you want to know the secret?"

The adventurers nodded strongly, waiting for the next sentence to come out of the mouth of the guard.

Rather than asking how powerful Ren really is, isn't it more interesting that the question is, why is Ren considered a god?
