Another: Memory of Another World
Ch. 15 Caves of Goblins

Even children would be dangerous if it was a knife. The idiom is suitable to be pinned to goblins. They are half-elves who have low intelligence, where they do not take care of themselves and the equipment used. In many cases, a person who dies from goblins is caused by an infection rather than a fatal attack. In fact, infection is the leading cause in most beginner deaths in goblin nests. Therefore, it is a common knowledge that exploration into the Goblin nest requires carrying anti-infection or priest potions that can spell purification. It is true that high level warriors have a natural immunity to resist the infection, but fighting the boss monster with the body injured is nothing more than suicide. Life is not a game that can be repeated at any time.

Although they were still teenagers in modern standards, the adventurers had a capable fighting experience as well as great strength thanks to the leveling they had been doing all along. High flying hours do not make them careless in the most relaxed conditions, nor do they tense up when facing a crisis. Seeing how the group was fighting, only made Steve even more amazed. To be honest, Steve wondered how a group like the Crimson Vortex only ranked Silver.

With the young man named Saga as the spearhead, Arthur and Percival will attack any approaching goblins. Meanwhile Noril and Samantha eliminate the enemy who escaped from the three people. Hiiro himself focused on helping with his bow. While Thalia and Arthiria only gave enhancement magic for now. Of course Steve helps them with his limited abilities. Clearly the grandfather felt the difference between them was huge, even after with the Barbarian Goblin.

Within a rather large area of the cave, the corpses of the goblins began to accumulate while blood pooled at their feet. The fact that the Goblins were still storming like a flood made them start to fidget.

"Thalia use the [Breathe of Verdant World] skill, Arthia use the [Bless of Fairy Court], we have to speed up this raid." Arthur gives direction while cutting the Goblins that keep coming.

"Hm."

"I understand."

The two women activated the art they had learned from their enlightenment. A bright green colored energy blew as Thalia raised a long stick with a face full of obedience. The mana floated towards everyone slowly like a gust of wind. Then all their wounds, fatigue, and restlessness disappeared, replaced by spirit and life energy.

Furthermore the bright blue Mana surrounded everyone, seemingly fused with their bodies. All of a sudden everyone seemed more energetic with the body getting bigger and full.

Both spells used have a long effect, about 3 to 6 hours. Obviously, the effect outweighed the loss. Under normal conditions, where the witches would recover a few points in a minute. The process will be much faster for Athia who has special talent.

"Do Saga!"

"All right, please light our way..." His seemingly ordinary sword suddenly shone with a golden light. Then Saga swung it with a flowing motion. "...[.The Light of Dawn]."

The first light in the morning seemed to rise as if a dark cave. Every Goblin that was in front of him disappeared like a lump of mud that was flooded. The golden light was extremely bright, yet no one felt a glare. Instead, they feel like they are seeing a miracle of God. When the light disappeared, no more Goblins stood firm, leaving blood clots on the walls and body pieces on the floor.

"No matter how many times I see it, but the attack is still amazing." Percival said while whistling lightly

"Is that some kind of art?" Steve asked somewhat curiously.

"No, it was a unique skill that Saga had." replied Hiiro who was nearby.

"Alright, let's continue, Hiiro, you come forward" Arthur said with a solemn expression

"Well, please protect me mas Saga." Hiiro immediately advanced in high spirits. He looked at Saga, but his gaze was fixed on the scar-like tattoo and the stitches on his neck.

"Give it to me." Saga said with confidence.

Then the group continued on their way to the only long passageway. In the dark hallway, the light only comes from a magic ball called Thalia. If the passageway was silent then the sound of footsteps echoing would make one's anxiety increase, but far ahead there were all sorts of sounds created by goblins. Disgusting laughter, obscure words, and so on until the ears of the group.

"So, what should we do now?" Hiiro asked in a low voice.

"Kill them all." Sigur the Barbarian barkata with a serious face.

"Go there and negotiate? That orge looks like a pretty smart subspecies." Samantha revealed her first impression of the goblin king.

"Do you believe you can beat Saga?" Noril Assassin who was about to become a ninja asked the handsome orange-haired young man.

"I can, but it would be better if there was another way" he said without looking back.

"Hm, why?" Samantha was curious.

"There's no reason, yes, no reason." Saga said with a serious face and a strong nod.

"Haah, what do I think." Everyone was not so surprised by Saga's strange reaction, as they had already seen so many times. He was more like someone who had a hard time expressing his heart than planning something.

"Well, who's going?" Ask Percival. Then everyone glanced at one young man with blond hair and dark red armor.

"Haish, it's hard to be a leader. No, you guys must have voted for me even if I quit the department."

"Please, captain."

"You're the best captain!"

"Fight captain!"

"Captain! The captain! Captain!"

"I'm leaving." Arthur came out of hiding. The foreign sound of footsteps from the passageway came to the attention of all the monsters. From ordinary goblins to those who were strong, even the Orge who was sitting casually on his throne.

The look suddenly turned sharp. Everyone left his busy life and picked up the nearest weapon, whether it was a stone or a wooden branch. The peaceful cave suddenly turned into a tense one.

Arthur did not loosen his face nor frown his forehead, walking without the slightest hesitation and a serious expression. Then he stopped exactly a few steps away from the Goblin army.

"We came to talk."
