CHAPTER 106

"Oh man! Verily there has come to you a lesson (Qur'an) from your Lord, a cure for the disease in the breast, and guidance and mercy for the believer." (QS. Jonah :57)

After performing the morning prayers, Lira continued her worship by reading the Qur'an. As in the previous pregnancy, when the age of the womb has entered the fourth month, the Lira becomes more frequent reading of the Qur'an, dhikr or sholawat.

Reading the Quran is very good done anytime and anywhere, in addition to unclean places. Especially when pregnant, because the sense of hearing in the baby begins to develop at week 8 and finished forming at week 24. This sense of hearing is also helped by amniotic fluid which is a good voice conductor. The fetus will begin to hear the sound of blood flow through the placenta, the sound of heart rate and the sound of air in the intestine. In addition, the fetus will react to loud noises, can even make the fetus jump in shock. Therefore, make it a habit to listen to the holy verses of the Qur'an when pregnant so that the child can recognize his God early and he will be more grateful.

As in Surah An-Nahl verse 78. 

"And God brought you out of your mother's belly knowing nothing, and He gave you hearing, sight and heart, that you may be thankful."

Lira taught me so sweetly and full of passion that she did not realize that at this time, Reza was sitting right next to her and listened to her reciting the holy verses of the Qur'an. The lira reads up to several suras, after which the Lira stops reading and restores the Qur'an to its original place.

Lira developed her smile while rubbing her stomach which had started to bulge. Gratitude is matchless, Lira said to the creator. In her second pregnancy, Lira felt no nausea or vomiting. Lira also did not feel cravings like when she conceived Inas. Reza was looking forward to that moment. In early pregnancy, Reza always asked about the food that Lira wanted to eat. Even though Lira was not craving, Reza still bought her typical food cravings such as young mango or other wry fruit, every time she came home from the office.

"Darling, today we go to the office." Reza said while hugging tightly Lira from the side to make Lira surprised.

"Sorry, sweetheart. Somebody's sick, no." Reply Reza with a look of guilt mixed with worry.

"Nothing, my mom. Lira was just shocked because there was no sound, suddenly I hugged Lira."

Reza breathed a sigh of relief. "Alhamdulillah. I think someone is sick. Sorry, yeah, baby."

"Yes, I'm not papa." Reply to Lira while gently stroking Reza's face that was very close to her face.

The lira went to Inas's room next to hers through the connecting door in their room. Reza deliberately made a door that connects his room with Inas's room, so that Reza can monitor his daughter directly while sleeping alone and Lira also did not have to bother having to go out of the room again just to see her daughter.

Lira dresses Inas with the same robe she wears. Lira always buys a dressie with her little daughter. Reza felt very guilty for making her daughter fear him. Reza continued to try to persuade her daughter who was still sitting on her lap.
