A Bunch of Horror Stories
episode 90 ( Building number 302 )

My name is Jessi, a student at one of the universities in Seoul. At the age of 22, I chose to live separately from my parents. I live in an apartment not far from my college. I live in the 3rd floor building number 303. My neighbor, who lives in building number 302 is a middle-aged man who often invites small children to play in his apartment. I don't know who the little boy is, because he's not married and has no children, maybe his nephew.

This morning as usual I left for college at about 9 a.m. When I started to come out, I found my neighbor who lived in building number 302 also came out wearing all black clothes and wearing a hat that covered his face. As a good neighbor, I greeted the uncle. “Halo uncle, good morning.” But instead of heeding my greeting, the uncle instead directly passed from before me without even poking or glancing at me. Maybe he was in a hurry, I thought.

Coming home from college, as I passed building number 302, I was like hearing a scream. Out of curiosity, I stopped my steps right at the door. I knocked on the door 3 times. When the door opened, I saw that uncle who had put on a face disliked me who had been bothering him. “What's up huh!?” ask her in a high tone. I flinched and reflexively shook. “Ah no uncle, just now I heard a screaming voice from inside. Uncle is okay, right?” my many. “Sana go!” okay fine, that uncle has kicked me out, it's time I get out of here. “Sorry to have disturbed you

During the day at 12:00, I went out to pick up my ordered food by accident to see my neighbor's uncle bringing another child into his apartment. The two boys and girls seemed happy and excited as they entered the building. I shook my shoulders and brushed off all the bad thoughts that suddenly stopped in my head. “Maybe it's just my feeling.” Thought. But when I was in my apartment enjoying my meal, I heard a sound like something hitting the floor. But it's more like something was deliberately smashed onto the floor. After the blow, we heard the sound of crying. Uncomfortable with the sound, I immediately called the apartment guard and told him to check the building next door. After a few minutes, the guard told me there was nothing in the building next door.

For 3 days I was always not calm. My ears always hear sounds like something hitting, the sound of crying, punching, and also screaming. But every time I ask an apartment guard or someone to check, everyone always says nothing. And for these 3 days my nose smelled like something rotten. The longer I let it go, the smell stung my nose. Because I couldn't stand it anymore, I began to trace where the stench came from.

Kriet, bruk!

I fell on the floor. My body immediately trembled violently. I can't speak anymore. Cold sweat began to pour. Soon I called 119 for help. Duk duk duk, there was a sound of steps entering the room. As soon as my heart skipped a beat, I was terrified after learning the fact that my neighbor uncle was. “What are you doing here!?” glarr!

The voice of the uncle made me freeze on the spot. I couldn't move and talk, I could only gulp. The uncle smirked at me and said, “I knew you were coming. So I've prepared something to welcome you.” What did that uncle mean? The uncle approached me while still smiling. I retreated step by step away from the uncle. “Consider my welcome, Jessi.”
