It is now a summer holiday. I was escorted by my parents to my uncle's house on the outskirts of the city, in a remote village close to the forest. When I arrived, I saw an old house built of wood but it looked elegant. The house also has an attic. This was my first time coming to my uncle's house. I don't know my uncle very well myself. So that the first time I did when I got home uncle is to go into the guest room and do my activities as usual. I spend a lot of time in my room playing games and watching my favorite movies. Well, more or less that's one of the reasons my parents brought me here. So that I can leave the house other than during school time.
Time passed, and night came. I was hungry and looking for food. Understandably, all day I locked myself in a room. I'm going to go see my uncle and ask him about dinner. It was seen that he was sharpening his sword in the back shed. I saw him from far away. It was clearly a sword. A long and shiny sword when exposed to light. I thought he took good care of her. Also, he had a few more swords, which he placed on the sword rack in the corner of the room. What did the old man do with his shiny set of swords?
Uncle suddenly said “if you are looking for food, come to the dinner table”. He has a keen intuition. When we got to the table, food was available. That day was meat. It turns out that uncle also had a refrigerator. When I saw the contents, he had quite a large stock of meat.
I ate while looking at the view outside the house. Looks large and towering trees, accompanied by a creepy darkness. The part I hated the most was that my uncle went out of the house and left me alone. When I asked him, he answered to go hunting. He left with his sword on his back. It was obvious that he had a considerable reserve of meat, as he was a HUNTER. However, what hunt did he use with the sword?
After eating and washing the dishes, I immediately rushed to the room. Alone in a wooden house in the middle of a large tree at night, who would not be afraid? Then, when busy playing games, suddenly there was a liquid dripping from the roof of the room. This room itself is located just below the attic room. The liquid was dripping right on the shoulders. Red and smells bad. Maybe the wood paint that uncle kept in the attic. There must be a small gap in the roof which is the attic and room divider. I got a little scared. However, my fear did not stop there, as it faintly sounded, the sound of someone's footsteps. I'm afraid it's a ghost. Being too scared, I decided to go straight to bed with the blanket covered with my body, while listening to the music from the phone.
Until finally morning came. I went for breakfast, and asked my uncle about the attic room above and the voice I heard last night. When I asked, uncle only said that there was nothing above, and instead told me to check it myself above. He said it while letting out his own typical laugh. Maybe he was joking when I was scared. I wouldn't even set foot in there since last night. I was too scared.
When night came again, the uncle went back to hunt while carrying a sword he was carrying on his back. He left me alone again tonight. During some time in the room, now heard the sound of footsteps in the attic. His voice is getting louder now. There was even a kind of sound of a hard object falling. Now I'm afraid it's not a ghost. What if it's a robber?
Finally, I ventured to check it out above. This curiosity guided me though it was also accompanied by fear. I took uncle's sword in the barn. Slowly, I rode in the attic with my cell phone flashlight and uncle's sword. When I got to the attic, I saw nothing there. But I still ventured to go deeper.
I just saw some candles on the attic wall. The new candle. Who just got here? But this is not what caused me fear. My heart felt dislodged as soon as I realized there were some human heads lying on the floor. I'm speechless. Then suddenly I felt like I had fallen to the floor and my consciousness was down. I can't feel my whole body. It was as if my head had slipped from my body. My gaze was on the floor, parallel to some of the heads I saw earlier. I could only hear the typical laughter of my uncle.
Now I understand what he's been hunting all this time.
