Arkhan and Zalfa exchanged looks. The crack on Zalfa's chest grew tighter. Arkahn's gaze was even more piercing.

Arkhan sighed, his sigh sounding heavy and loud. “I'm sorry, Zalfa. I can't follow your will. Actually I feel it's hard to say this, but I have to say it. I'm out of custody with Mario's help. No free.”

Mario's? Zalfa recalled that he had felt like he was on the verge of death when the shooting was launched by Mario and the shot only hit Arkhan's back. Arkahn calls Mario his enemy, so why would Mario even help Arkhan free in this way?

“He's your enemy isn't he?” Zalfa.

“What does Mario mean by doing this? What does she want? And why did you obey his invitation?”

Arkhan turned his head towards the window when he saw a car stopping in front of the house. Arkhan approached the window. Peek outside. “She's come to pick me up,” whispered Arkhan.

“I'm leaving! Take good care of yourself.” Arkhan opened the window and one of his legs began to climb.

“Mas Arkhan!” Zalfa grabbed Arkhan's arm.

Suddenly Arkhan turned his head, staring at his face, eyes looking forward, and tears were unceasingly breaking.

Arkhan lowered his leg again. He grabbed Zalfa's cheeks with both palms, landing a kiss on Zalfa's lips.

Zalfa closed his eyes, both arms coiled around Arkhan's back. The cold lips Arkhan felt by Zalfa proved that the man had been friends with the night wind for a long time.

Minute by minute, Arkhan did not want to let go of his lips. I don't know when he'll be in that situation again. I don't know when Arkhan will be reunited with Zalfa.

“Do not cry!” arkhan whispered while wiping the tears on Zalfa's cheek. Then the man clasped Zalfa's tiny body and hugged her very tightly.

Zalfa felt kisses on his head, neck and cheeks.

“I go!” arkhan whispered then jumped over the window in a swift motion. The man moved like lightning out of the courtyard of the house and into the car that picked up.

Zalfa opened the window curtain, watching Arkhan's face through the open car window. Arkhan was still looking at him. Zalfa's sight was cut off as the car's window shut and the car drove away.
