Right at that moment, a chat notification came into Arkhan's phone. Zalfa did not want to waste the opportunity by pretending to accidentally squeeze the notification until the chat was open.

Vigilant

Police check Arumi

Zalfa's face paled instantly, the message as if as a warning to Arkhan. Even the unidentified number mentioned the police in his short message. And who was Arumi? If there was no connection between the warning message to Arkhan, then why would that person send it to Arkhan? What the hell is this really? Is Arkhan still a mafia?

Zalfa was shocked when the phone in his hand was snatched away by Arkhan. He looked at Arkhan, and the man he stared at stared back without a blink. He sighed looking at Zalfa's gaze filled with questions and threats.

“What is it? What does that chat mean? the cops? Be alert? And who is Arumi?” zalfa hoped for an explanation.

“Stop interrogating me!” arkhan flat reply. He deletes the incoming chat and throws the phone into the spring bed.

“Why is there a warning from someone else sent to you? Are you still continuing your work?”

“No. I've left my job.”

“Then? What does that chat mean?”

“The problems that have happened will not pass you by, Zalfa. Maybe the effect will still be felt until some time that I also do not know when it ends. Everything I've done won't stop so easily even if I leave my job. But don't worry about it. It's my business and I can definitely get it done.”

Zalfa. It was as if he stopped beating when he understood the sentence Arkhan said. That Arkhan had committed a crime, and his actions were already smelled by the authorities even though in this case Arkhan is only a witness now. But furthermore, there is no guarantee that the crimes committed by Arkhan will continue to be shrouded and stored neatly.

“Zalfa, believe! I'll solve the problem I've created. Everything will be fine,” Arkhan said as he stared at the grief on Zalfa's face. “I will always be by your side, I will not leave you alone here. Believe!”

“I'm scared, Arkhan! I'm afraid! I'm afraid the person I love will leave me when it comes to dealing with cells. But if indeed you are still struggling with your work, then I am glad if you have to account for your actions behind bars.”

“It won't happen. Aren't you the one who asked me to stop? And I've left my job, Zalfa. Don't discuss it again.”

“Really? Are you really leaving your job?”

“Ya.” Arkhan positioned his body to face Zalfa. “Give me time to finish all this.”

Arkhan's soft voice and shady gaze, made Zalfa crumble and easily nod his head.

A prayer? Hearing Arkhan mention the word ‘doa’, Zalfa was filled and smiled. Regarding prayer, it is not necessary to ask how much time Zalfa dedicates to asking the Almighty for the sake of Arkhan.

“Hmm... You look attractive by smiling like this.” Arkhan touched Zalfa's chin with his fingers.

The disentile smiled thinly.

“Do you not want to wear clothes?” Zalfa switched the conversation, staring at her husband's shirtless plain chest, just wrapped a towel around his stomach.

Arkhan turned to the table. But he lost the shirt he put there.

Realizing Arkhan lost his shirt, Zalfa said, “O yes, your shirt I sun for a while outside. It was splashed with drinking water. Let me take.” Zalfa stepped towards the balcony. He grabbed the shirt he was drying on the clothesline pole.

The view downstairs makes Zalfa frown and momentarily watch some police who come to the house next door, precisely the neighboring house Arkhan. Arkhan had just received a chat calling the police, and now Zalfa found the scene.
