Ishmael's house was filled with guests. Some of the main floors have been held with tapestries. Certain rooms are decorated. Not many guests were invited. But somehow the simple house was even visited by many people to crowded the room, becoming like a sea of people.
Most of the people who know Zalfa and Ismail, flocked to see the ijab qobul event that will take place. They wanted to congratulate and capture the moment, even since the morning they came to fill the room.
Ismail, a simple man who is friendly and polite, makes people who know him do not want to miss the moment when he heard the news of Ismail's marriage. Starting from office friends, school friends, people who know him outside there who consider Ismail is a kind-hearted man who likes to help and philanthropy, there enliven the event.
Not the intention of Ismail did not want to invite his friends, but the side of his small heart that felt reluctant to spread the second marriage, fearing being considered a failure to marry.
Zalfa has since looked out looking for Arkhan's appearance, but until now the man has not appeared as well. I don't know how many times Zalfa came in and out just to check Arkhan's life, I don't know where the man was. From two nights, Zalfa stayed at Ishmael's house to take care of things concerning Ishmael's marriage. For if it were not Zalfa, then who else would have helped Ishmael.
Zalfa enters the room, where Ishmael awaits the arrival of Tini and the family.
Ishmael turned towards Zalfa who entered the room. There was a stare in Ishmael's eyes.
“Mas, I'm so happy today. Mas will have a wife as good as Tini.” Zalfa sat by Ishmael's side, at the edge of the bed.
Ismail nodded.
“Mas, why look so nervous? Grogi want ijab qobul? Isn't it my experience for this?” Zalfa seduces.
“Not so. I'm just not comfortable, why come this serame? Though Tini asked for the event to be made as simple as possible, enough neighbors were present.”
“Do not worry about it, Tini can definitely understand.”
“I don't feel good about the views of others who saw me married twice.”
“Those present are to congratulate you, Mas. Not to insult you. Don't think badly.”
Ishmael smiled faintly. “You're right, why am I even confused like this.”
“Everybody has their own amsing-life problem, right? So, don't think about anything bad. It's your happy day, Mommy. Be happy!”
Ishmael rubbed the head of Zalfa briefly.
“O yes, Ustad Bukhori also dating loh, Mas.”
“Serious you?” Ismail looked shocked.
“Aalhamdulillah's. I really like famous ustad seems willing to attend an event as simple as this.”
“That is the name of a noble man, he does not distinguish where the destination is, it does not have to be from among those who are the place to visit.”
“Yes, you are right. O yes, has the Tini family come?”
“Tadi no.”
Ishmael and Zalfa turned to the open door. Someone poked in and told him that his bride had come. Ishmael nodded and stood up. Zalfa tidied up the suit and shirt her brother wore. They deliberately held an event at Ismail's house because Tini's family was far away in the village and his parents also died. So Tini who does not have a house also asked that the wedding be held at the groom's house. Tini was ushered in by her uncles, aunts and relatives.
Zalfa accompanied Ishmael out to the main room. They were greeted by tiled guests, sitting across the floor of the room. They enjoy making small snacks. Ishmael's fear that had clothed his mind had not happened, in fact all the eyes that looked, did not consider it bad. All that is seen in the faces and gazes of the guests is a look of joy. So much solidarity that they were willing to come to the event.
Zalfa had thrown a smile towards the Bukhori ustad who sat not far from the penghulu as a form of respect and was replied to a smile by the ustad. Soleh, who was sitting right next to Bukhori, returned Zalfa's smile, thinking he was the one who got the smile. Geez, pe de once he. Think Zalfa.
Ismail had been sitting side by side with Tini after the two sides of the family held special talks.
Zalfa's gaze again led to the door. Oh my, Arkhan hasn't shown up yet. Where's she? Zalfa inched backwards from his sitting position, then walked away towards the outside. He called Arkhan. The phone was connected, but Arkhan did not answer.
Geez, Arkhan why hasn't he shown up yet? This is my brother's sacred event, at least you as my husband are by my side watching. Do you think this show is not so important? Zalfa bit her lip. Maria is not present either.
“Aduh!” he was strangled when his bite was a little hard.
Damnit damnit! Even the lips are victims.
