I'm Late

David moved away from his seat because of his intense emotions.

"But what did he do! He's gone! He went with the man! Leaving me and Audrey!" David Said.

Tears began to drip in David's eye. Rena hugged him and calmed him down.

Rena had never seen David cry or be this emotional. He always seemed strong, dominant and arrogant all this time. But tonight, David was really crying. Recalling that night when his mother left him and David has not forgiven him.

Rena hugged David and let David cry. He could feel what it was like to lose someone he loved.

Rena lost her Mother, not her Mother's will to leave her and Austin's brother, but because her Mother was called the almighty. Mama David went of her own accord. Rena could feel how heartbroken David was at that moment.

After David's cries subsided, Rena guided David to sit on the sofa back, and fetched him some water to drink.

"I wish I could forgive her like Audrey. But I can't, Ren. It's heavy for me" David said again. Rena nodded in understanding David's intentions.

"It's okay, maybe you still need time" said Rena.

"But how?" ask David.

David woke up that morning, he was difficult to move freely. When he opened his eyes, he remembered what happened last night.

Beside her Rena was still asleep with her heart. Rena's face was right in front of her and her hands were right on her chest. While Rena's legs hugged her as if - David's body was a bolster.

David smiled looking at Rena's face that was sleeping innocently. Even without wearing any makeup, she looks very beautiful.

The two of them were sleeping on the living room sofa, Rena's apartment. David did not return home last night, after the anxiety and overwhelming emotions he experienced.

After telling his wedge all this time in his pendam to his mother, David asked Rena to hug him. They both ended up falling asleep on the sofa.

"I kissed you, Yang," David replied with a satisfied smile. He reached out his hand and pulled Rena and got up from the carpet.

"Sickness, Yang?" her question was attentive while examining Rena's back.

"I'm okay, just shocked," replied Rena with a warm face. Remembering what David just did. Rena felt awkward, because even though she fell asleep she could feel the extraordinary effect of the touch of David's lips on her body.

"What time is this?" asked Rena while looking towards the wall clock.

Rena was surprised and immediately jumped from her seat when she saw the time had shown at 8 am.

"I'm late!" Shouted Rena while walking quickly towards her room.

David laughed bothered to see the behavior of Rena.

David didn't even find out what time he woke up. The focus of his attention was only on the face of Rena who fell asleep beside him.
