"Sir Devan, are you okay?" alvin asked Devan when they were meeting at Devan's office. Alvin came to Permana Law Firm to take care of some legal files Mahendra company.

"Sorry Mr Alvin, I didn't mean to ignore you?" devan said when he woke up from his daydream.

"You got a problem?" alvin asked, looking at Devan's agitated face.

During knowing Devan Permana, Alvin had never seen Devan unfocused in his work. Although still very young, but Devan is a competent lawyer and highly trusted by David.

"Only a personal matter Mr. Alvin, I'm sorry if...."

"Does this have anything to do with Kanaya Zavira's mother's disappearance?" alvin's question cuts Devan's speech.

Devan was stunned and looked at Alvin.

"How did he know Kanaya disappeared? The news of Kanaya Zavira's disappearance has never been spread to the public because Elvano closed her meetings" Devan said in his heart.

"You should not be surprised Mr. Devan, a lot of things I know because my job is to find out many things related to the business of Mr. David, and sometimes such information comes in along with other information," said Alvin.

Devan breathed a heavy sigh.

"Kanaya is indeed my best friend Mr. Alvin, and the disappearance of him worries me;" Devan said still trying to cover up his feelings.

"If you want, you can ask Gilang for help. You know Gilang?" ask Alvin.

"What do you mean Mr Alvin, Mr Gilang Narendra?" devan asked while leaning on his body.

"Yes, Gilang Narendra," said Alvin with a smile he himself almost forgot Gilang's full name, because he often forgot to call him Gilang.

Devan has met Gilang several times. He was one of the people who worked for Alexander David Mahendra in many ways, although Devan did not know what Gilang did, because some things he did not know.

"Where can I meet Mr Gilang?" ask Devan.

"You will not see him Mr. Devan, because Gilang will meet Mr. Devan," said Alvin with a small laugh. Alvin just doesn't know where he should go to see Gilang. Gilang is a person who is still mysterious in many ways. Maybe only David knows where Gilang lives.

"Meet Mr. David and ask for help from Gilang. I don't think Mr. David would mind" Alvin said as he moved from his seat.

"Is Mr David, any time this morning?" ask Devan. He believes Alvin as a personal assistant David is very familiar with the schedule of David's activities.

"Today Mr. David's schedule is very tight. But if Mr. Devan has time, talk before lunch, he's in his office" Alvin said walking outside Devan's office.

Devan does need the help of a professional, who can help find Kanaya. Can Gilang help him find Kanaya? Thought Devan.

Devan had to shift some of his appointments that day so he could meet David at his office in the Mahendra Tower building, the tallest skyscraper in their city.

Devan pu took the elevator to the 60th floor where David's office was located.

"Good afternoon Mr. Devan, please come in, Mr. David is waiting for you inside" said Ratih secretary Alexander David Mahendra.

Devan entered David's office when David raised his face and smiled at Devan.

"Good day, Mr. David. I'm sorry to interrupt your time" Devan said as he approached David, who was still sitting in his chair, shaking his hand.

"Good day Devan, please sit down" said David kindly.

Devan sits on a chair in front of David's desk which looks very strong and sturdy, which makes anyone sitting behind him look dignified and charismatic. One of the best desks Devan has ever seen.

"How are the conditions at the Firm? I see your Firm is growing very rapidly, and almost all companies in this city use the services of the Permana Law Firm, right?" david asked with a big smile at the young man sitting before him.

"Conditions at the Firm are fine, sir. Thanks to the recommendations of the Father, our clients also increased," said Devan low.

"You've always been Devan's humble!" David said with a laugh and Devan replied with a polite smile.

"How are you Devan? Alvin said there's something you want to talk to me about?" david asked as he leaned his back on his work chair leisurely.

"Yes sir, if you don't mind I want to ask Gilang for help to find my friend's whereabouts," Devan said bluntly.

"What's? Your friend's missing? Have you reported the police?" ask David.

"Already Sir. My friend lives in town D, and some days it's gone missing and hasn't been found yet" Devan said.

In his mind flashed Kanaya's face that looked weak, pale and frightened as she left Elvano's house that afternoon.

David noticed Devan's face. Although he tried to talk to her normally, Devan could not hide his anxiety and excitement. This reminds David when he lost Rena for several days when he was kidnapped by Anton. Is that friend special to him?

"Is your friend the same person you told me about back then. Someone special?" ask David to make sure.

Devan sighed.

"I understand how you feel, Devan. I was once in your position, and Gilang helped me find someone very special to me at the time" David said.

"I hope Gilang can help you find him" David said.

"So. You permit?" devan asked expectantly.

"Yes, of course Devan. Tell him whatever he wants to know. Now go home and wait for Gilang to call you" David said with a smile.

"Thank you David, I really appreciate your help" Devan said, shaking David's hand.

"Same - same Devan. Do not be discouraged, and I hope your best friend can be found soon," said David while patting Devan's shoulder to give him spirit.

Devan nodded and said once again, "Thank you, sir!"

Rena sits Brayen on her lap and hugs her affectionately.

"Mom, we've arrived" Eddy said as he pulled his car over at Davidm's drive way office

Eddy opened the door for Rena. Yuki and Baby Brayen. He dropped off Brayen's paper lunch bag and trolley. However, Brayen did not want to wear it. So, Rena finally carried it.

They enter Mahendra Tower's lobby and meet with employees who recognize Rena and greet her. They got into the elevator and went straight to the 60th floor where David's room was.

"Good day Mom," said Ratih when he saw Rena and Baby Brayen coming.

"Relighted, are you inside?" ask Rena.

"There is Ma'am, but he is talking to Mr. Devan Permana" replied Ratih.

"Oh, there's Mr. Devan." said Rena while looking at her watch. It should be time for David to rest but he is still busy working.

"I'll tell you Father. If Mom is coming," said Ratih to dial the intercom into David's office space.

"No need to train. Let me just wait," said Rena. He thought it must be very important that Devan Permana and David were talking about so David would give up his lunch to talk to Devan.

Devan Permana is a lawyer at Mahendra Enterprise. David entrusted all legal matters of his company to the Permana Law Firm.

Just now Rena was going to wait in the lounge that was at the end of the hall. Suddenly David's office door opened and Devan came out of David's office.

"Mother Rena, how are you, Mom?" Apply to Rena while shaking Rena's hand.

"Well Mr. Devan, Mr. Devan himself how are you?" ask Rena.

"I'm good, ma'am." Devan replied, but at first glance there was a look of sadness on Devan's face.

"Please Mom, you're inside. Excuse me first," said Devan resigned. Devan doesn't want to keep Rena out of David's room any longer. He knew David didn't have much time, as he had used some of David's time off to talk about his problems.

Rena nodded and smiled, as Devan paused and walked towards the elevator.

"Please ma'am" said Ratih, opening David's office door.

Rena enters David's room holding Baby Brayen, followed by Yuki.

David who saw Rena coming with his favorite son immediately smiled widely and moved from his chair.

"Look who's coming! Daddy's favorite is here!" David said as he stepped closer to Rena and also Baby Brayen.

He held Brayen and lifted him high in the air before he kissed his son.

"Daddy's darling..," David said, kissing Brayen again. Makes Brayen laugh and scream with pleasure.

"Hello dear," said David then kissed Rena's lips while holding Brayen.

"Why didn't you say you were coming? I can't see Devan later?" david said while holding Rena's hand into his office towards his desk.

"It's okay I want to give you a surprise" said Rena.

"I like surprises. Did you bring the book?" david asked as he looked at Rena with a mischievous grin.
