Chicken Porridge

After a few minutes. David came down from the second floor where his room was. Rena was waiting for David in the dining room as David had told her to. He was playing with his mobile phone when David sat nearby.

"Jefri, where's the porridge I ordered?" david asked the head of his house assistant.

"There's Sir. I will serve soon." replied Jefri.

"Sir David, this is your schedule today. At 8 o'clock I have a meeting with PT. Pearls in the office after that..." Rena recited David's activities that day according to Alvin's direction, which was to read David's schedule as he ate his breakfast.

Jefri came back with two bowls of chicken porridge that looked very delicious and the smell was appetizing. He put one in front of David and the other in front of Rena.

"Please eat Rena's mother" Jefri told him.

Rena was stunned, she could smell the delicious aroma of porridge milling around in front of her nose.

"Sir David specifically asked for breakfast this morning. Rena wants something else? Maybe a glass of milk or juice?" ask Jefri.

"There's orange juice?" ask Rena who has loved orange juice since childhood.

"There is Ma'am, I'll get it," Jefri said kindly to him.

"Eat Rena, I don't want you to faint today" David said before sipping a glass of water in front of him.

"I finish first yes, sir." said Rena intended to finish reading David's schedule while glancing at the chicken porridge in front of him.

Suddenly he felt very hungry. He had not had breakfast this morning, and the chicken porridge had caught his attention.

"Later you read the schedule. Eat the chicken porridge while it's warm!" David said in a commanding tone. From the corner of his eyes David saw Rena glancing towards the porridge bowl in front of him. David asked Jefri to cook him chicken porridge, knowing Rena would have a little trouble eating after a hard slap on her cheek last night. David believes Rena's face will swell if not treated directly last night.

Jefri came up with a glass of orange juice and placed it in front of Rena's desk.

Rena also put her phone on the table and spooned chicken porridge into her mouth.

"Wow, it feels amazing!" Inner Rena.

He looked towards Jefri.

"Sir Jefri, did you cook it? It's so delicious!" Rena said with a smile, taking another spoon of chicken porridge and inhaling the aroma before she ate it. It looks so funny when you do it.

"Our chef cooked it, Mommy Rena, do you like it?" jefri asked with a smile.

"Well, Mr. David has a personal chef. The food is good!" Inner Rena.

"Yes, this is delicious! Can I ask you again?" asked Rena who had almost finished her porridge.

David held back his laughter seeing Rena eating the porridge voraciously.

"Of course, Sister Rena. Let me get it again," Jefri said with a bright face, then turned towards the kitchen.

Rena just remembered that she was eating with David at David's house. He completely forgot because of the delicious taste of the chicken porridge, and the sound of rumbling in his stomach. He glanced at David's freshly finished chicken porridge by half. His own is gone. And Rena nodded in embarrassment at David when their gaze met.

Surely he thought I was greedy, sighed Rena realized his behavior.

"It's Mbak porridge," said Jefri while taking Rena's old bowl and putting a new bowl containing chicken porridge.

"Thank you sir" said Rena.

Rena also scoops her porridge more slowly. Kalem and jaim, unlike when he first ate the porridge.

"Why, Na? Less delicious?" asked David who deliberately teased Rena, when he saw Rena eating was not tired earlier.

"Finish your meal, and don't forget to take your medicine!" Said David who had finished his porridge and moved from his chair.

"Wait Sir. Where are you going?" asked Rena astonished to see David moving from his seat.

"There's something I have to do, you just wait in the car when you're done with breakfast" David said, then stepped up the stairs to the second floor to his study.

Was David angry because he added chicken porridge earlier? Think Rena.

Rena immediately finished her porridge and drank the medicine. After that, he tidied his briefcase on the table and immediately walked out to the car David and Eddy had been waiting for him there.

After waiting for about 15 minutes, David finally came.

"Rena, Alvin won't be with us today, so you have to accompany me at all times. Make the most of your time and don't be late!" David Said.

"Well sir" replied Rena.

Fortunately, Mr. David's events are more in the office so he does not need to travel out. But there was one thing that bothered Rena's mind. He saw the name Malvin Dirgantara on his meeting guest list today.

Rena does not know how she can avoid not accompanying David during his meeting with Malvin. Maybe he could ask Safa or Satria to replace him. But will David not suspect? In recent days, David has repeatedly asked who he really is.

On the way to the office, Rena's phone rang. This time it was his personal cell phone and he quickly turned off the phone call when he saw Austin calling him he did not want to talk to his brother when he was close to David.

Austin called her back several times.

"Why not answer the phone?" david asked in surprise and was bothered by the repeated ringing of the phone.

Rena finally picks up Austin's phone call and shifts her seat away from David.

"Ren, why are you turning the phone off?" ask Austin when Rena picked him up.

"She Bang, sorry. What's up?" ask Rena and ask her directly to the point. Rena could feel David's eyes on her even though she wasn't looking at David.

"Why do you talk like that, you don't miss your brother?" austin asked in surprise at his sister's response.

"Kangen Bang?" rena answered quietly as if whispering.

"What's up?" rena's question breaks the awkwardness.

"That's fine, Rena. I miss you too!" Answer Austin.

"Na, you hear you're not working at the Pub anymore?" ask Austin.

"Where do you know about it? I haven't told you yet!" Inner Rena.

"Yes Bang, Rena stopped for a moment yesterday" replied Rena with a smile.

"Have you got a new job?" ask Austin again.

"Had Bang, Rena was already working in a new place,"

"O yeah? What work and where, Na?" ask Austin curiously.
