DNA test

"Have Father and Mother Rena finished talking? Doctor Bimantara is here" said Alvin with heart.

"Yes, tell him to wait in my study" David said, looking at the clock on his wrist.

"Okay sir" replied Alvin. Then David disconnected the phone.

"Rena, Doctor Bimantara has come, after which I will go to Aleta's place to meet Farhan, son of Aleta. I'll pick you up when it's done." David told Rena.

"Can I come?" ask Rena.

"You're serious about coming?" david asked a little surprised.

And Rena nodded then said, "If you allow,"

"Of course I can, but I don't know how Aleta will respond. And she doesn't know I'm going to test her son's DNA. Are you ready to meet him?" ask David.

Rena rolled her eyeballs.

"Alexander David Mahendra, I'm not a kid anymore!" Rena says.

David laughed a little.

"Yes, big boy you can come!" Canda David while scrambling - random Rena hair.

Rena smacks David's chest in annoyance at the random shuffling of his hair and calls him a big boy, while David just laughs at Rena's pouting face.

"I change clothes first" Rena said as she looked at her clothes that were wet with tears.

"Mmm. you change too" said Rena, pointing to her eyes, David's shirt soaked by Rena's tears and lipstick stains on the shirt worn by David.

"Yes dear," replied David affectionately and smiling.

Rena walked to her room, but stopped when David asked her, "You haven't answered my question. Are you ready to accept Farhan if it turns out that he is my son?"

Rena thought for a while then replied without turning towards David.

"If he's your son it's your duty to bear it and give it affection, I won't mind" Rena said. Then he walked towards his room.

David smiled widely from ear to ear hearing the answer from Rena.

Doesn't that mean Rena is willing to marry him?

So happy was David that he didn't realize Alvin was calling him.

"Sir, Mr. David," called Alvin for the next time while patting his smiling boss's own shoulder.

"What's Alvin?" david asked, still smiling broadly.

"Doctor Bimantara has been waiting in your study" Alvin told David.

"Oh yeah, let's get there!" David said as he got up from his seat and walked towards his study on the 2nd floor.

David also met with Dr. Bimantara, who took blood samples, hair roots, and saliva from his throat.

After changing clothes, David prepared - ready to go to Aleta's house. David and Rena are in one vehicle driven by Eddy, while Alvin and Doctor Bimantara are in another vehicle along with Andrew, David's other driver.

Varrel opened the door of the house as they reached the residence of Varrel and Aleta.

"Can I come in?" david asked the man who had been his friend when they were in college in LA.

"Yes of course." replied Varell as he opened the door wide.

"Aleta exists?" david asked as he stepped inside Varell's house along with Rena. Doctors Bimantara and Alvin were still waiting in the car, until David ordered them to enter.

"Aleta hasn't come home yet, she's filming from last night. Exactly what?" ask Varell to know.

"I'm here to get a blood sample, Farhan," said David.

"Sample blood? What's for?" varell asked in surprise.

"You don't know?" ask David.

"Don't know what?" ask Varell wonder.

David took a long breath.

"Last night Aleta came to my house and told me that Farhan was my son" David said without further ado.

"What?!" Varrel was shocked to hear David's words.

"Aleta said that? But you know Farhan is my son, David!" Varell did not accept David's words.

"I'm pretty sure he's your son, Varell. But I have to do this and make sure that there are no obstacles in the future" David said.

"And I also don't want my relationship with Rena to be disrupted because of this. Rena has to know if Farhan is my son or not. Because, he had heard what Aleta said last night. I hope you understand Varell" David said, holding Rena's hand.

Varell seemed to disagree with what David was going to do.

"There's nothing you should be afraid of Varell. I think you also need to make sure of this;" said David looking at Varell meaningfully.

"Well I'll have someone pick her up at school" Varell said.

Varell realizes that what happened 7 years ago is indeed very chaotic, because of the affair of Aleta and herself. And doing a DNA test on Farhan is the right thing to do.

After waiting for a while. Farhan came in between by one of his nannies.

Of course, the 7-year-old child did not understand anything, and just followed what Varell told him.

Rena looked at the innocent child's face and smiled.

The boy was tall enough for a child his age and had a handsome face. But Rena could not have guessed, if he was the son of David or not, because the face of the child was more similar to Aleta than David or Varell.

Rena doesn't know if she's going to marry David. But if he married David, he did not object to the child being present among them.
