The door to the CEO's assistant room opened, and Safa was seen entering David's room.

"Sorry Sir. Rena's mom is not well, and is now resting. I will help you temporarily," Safa said, looking down.

"Is there anything I can help you with, sir?" ask Safa. He was nervous talking to David. David did not talk too often with Safa and Satria.

David actually wanted to ask about Rena's condition further when Safa told him that Rena was not healthy, but he said that because Malvin was in front of her.

"You've recorded a meeting today Safa!" David's orders to Safa.

"Okay sir" Safa answered and picked up the paper and pen, and sat on the sofa not far from David.

"Who's Rena?" malvin asked to know. At first glance he caught David's worried facial expression.

"My personal assistant" said David.

"Is he okay? You look worried" asked Malvin.

"Malvin, I did treat my assistant well. And I'm sure he'll be fine" David said.

They also talked about their business.

"I'll consider your proposal, and I'll tell you as soon as possible" David told Malvin when they were done with the meeting and Malvin left David's study.

"Safa, where's Rena?" david asked Safa after Malvin came out of his room.

"So it was in her room, sir" Safa replied nervously.

"Hurry and call him here!" David Said.

"Good Sir." Safa said then immediately walked to the personal assistant room.

"What's sick about Rena? This morning he looked fine, even eating chicken porridge!" David's mind felt strange. Even so there was a sense of worry in his heart, because he knew Rena would not leave his obligations unless something happened.

Safa looks for Rena in her study.

"Mbak Rena is called Mr. David" Safa told Rena who was sitting at her desk and typing something.

"His camera is gone?" ask Rena to Safa.

"Already Ma'am," replied Safa briefly.

"What did you say to Mr. David?" ask Rena.

"As Ma'am Rena said, if Mbak Rena is not feeling well," replied Safa. Safa was surprised, because Rena did not look like a sick person.

"Keep Mr. David said what?" ask Rena curious.

"Don't say anything. He just told me to take notes on the meeting" Safa said, handing over her notes.

Rena took a quick look at the note Safa gave her and nodded.

"Easy - hopefully Mr. David believes," his mind.

"Thank you Safa, you can go back to your room" Rena said with a smile.

Safa nodded and smiled, then left Rena's study.

Carrying Safa's note, Rena walked towards David's office door. However, he paused for a moment right in front of the door. He exhaled a few times and tried to put on a tired face.

"Sorry Sir. You called me?" rena asked as she had stood a few meters away from David.

"You sick?" asked David who had been watching Rena, ever since he opened the door connecting their workspace.

Although his face looks pale, but his footsteps are not shaken like someone who is not sick. Inner David.

"No sir, I just feel weak and need a short break" said Rena gave an excuse.

"You're sure you're okay, what?" david asked as he advanced from the back of his chair and placed both elbows on the table.

"What's my next schedule, Rena?" david asked while looking at Rena's face.

"Mr there was a meeting with Mr. Adrian from PT. Glass Harbour is half an hour away, after which you will attend the invitation to the launch of director Damian's latest film. In the Epicentrum building," Rena recited David's remaining schedule that day.

"Close!" David's orders.

"I mean Mr...?" asked Rena confused.

"Quick closer!" David's orders were louder.

Rena didn't understand what David wanted, and she walked over hesitantly.

David looks at Rena's face, then with a flat expression he says, "Rena, you rest, I'll call you again if I need anything.

"Surely sure?" ask Rena.

"Yes, you take a break now, I need you later tonight" David said, turning his gaze toward his laptop at the desk.

"Well sir," Rena replied after no further orders from David.

"What does he mean he needs me tonight? You Weirdo!" Rena's mind was astonished by David's behavior.

After the departure of Rena.David leaned his shoulders on the back of the chair and he pensively. He's gonna need Rena tonight.

He called Alvin.

"Good day sir" replied Alvin who immediately picked up his phone call.

"Alvin, did you get any information about Rena?" ask David.

Last night, David orders Alvin to go to town F to investigate Rena's identity. He was very curious about Rena's true identity.

"I've met both of his adoptive parents in this town. They don't say anything except what we already know. As for their financial statements, I still need a little more time" Alvin reported.

"What about the orphanage where Rena grew up?" ask David. He believes Rena didn't grow up in an orphanage.

"I also went to the orphanage where Mba Rena grew up, and I did find awkwardness in the orphanage,"

"Even though the head of the parlour here told me that Rena was in the orphanage from infancy, until she was 15. However, I did not find a photo of Rena before she was 15 years old at the parlor. There's no little Rena's photo there.

"And unfortunately, the previous mother of the orphanage head, who knew about Rena, had died" Alvin told David.

Hmmm... awkward isn't it? No picture of him at all if he grew up there? Think David.

But Alvin has not been able to provide clues to know the true origin of Rena, like there is someone who is trying to close the meeting of Rena's past.

"Give me a report, as soon as the financial statements of her adoptive parents and the parlour are in your hands!" David's orders. I heard an impatient tone from David's words.

"Well sir" said Alvin.

"What about Mira Handono? Have you found out what's the connection between Rena and Mira?" ask David.

Instantly he remembered his encounter with Malvin this afternoon, and how Rena did not answer his call to come. Did he avoid Malvin? Does Malvin and Mira have anything to do with Rena's past? I was in David's mind.

"I have assigned Gilang to investigate Mira Handono.According to Gilang both Mira and Rena are not related, either on social media or their social activities. They both hang out with different people sir. As you know, Mommy Rena does not get along and does not know personally the upper middle class," said Alvin with heart.

"Then interrogate Mira and reply 3x what he has done to Rena" said David firmly.
