David and Rena immediately get into the car while Alvin stays to clear up the problem at the hotel.

"Where's Eddy's P3K box?" david asked the driver.

"This is sir" Eddy said, giving him the P3K box he picked up from the car's dashboard.

"Come closer" David told Rena to get closer to her. Rena did not flinch and looked out the window.

David sighed and shifted his seat closer to Rena.

He then held onto Rena's chin and twisted the girl's face, noticing the red mark on her palm-shaped cheek.

David opens the P3K box and takes the betadine and cutton bud.

"Don't move!" David orders Rena, but Rena does not heed and instead looks back at the window.

"Rena! I said don't move! Your wounds must be treated immediately. I don't want to have such an ugly assistant, because you don't want your wounds to be treated!" Said David in annoyance while turning Rena's face back towards him.

"Don't try to look around, or you'll know the consequences!" David said threatening Rena.

Rena finally kept quiet, and did not turn her head again and let David clean his wound.

"Auuu," Rena grimaced in pain as David slowly applied betadine at the corner of her injured lip.

"Hold a little" said David. Rena just obeyed him.

"Who did this to you?" david asked with a glance at Rena's eyeballs. Before he focused back on the wound on Rena's lips.

"I don't know" Rena said after a moment of silence.

David looked at Rena in disbelief with Rena's answer. However, he will not force Rena, and allow Rena to rest.

"Eddy, find the nearest clinic!" David told Eddy.

"Yes sir," replied Eddy who immediately searched the clinic close to his GPS.

David takes Rena to see a doctor at the clinic that Eddy is heading to. There Rena was examined and given anti-inflammatory ointment so that her face did not swell due to a hard slap in nature.

After the clinic, they headed to Rena's apartment. And just like last night David also went down and took the elevator with Rena.

"I can be alone, sir." said Rena who felt sad to accompany David up to his apartment.

"Already, don't say much about your face needs to be treated!" David said as he stepped out of the elevator and walked towards Rena's apartment.

Rena followed him and opened the apartment door as they reached in front of him.

David followed Rena in.

"I went inside first sir" Rena told David. Rena was about to go inside her room to change her clothes and also enter her room to change her clothes and also clean her face which was still painful.

"Yes, I'll wait here" David replied as he placed the doctor's medicine on the table, then looked through the contents of Rena's apartment.

David looked around at the one-room apartment that wasn't big. Not a single picture of Rena's family was posted there. Just paintings and photos with his co-workers and maybe even his college friends. There are no pictures of family or close friends of special men.

"Drena Clarissa Princess, I'm getting curious about you" David said with a grin.

Suddenly David's phone rang and Alvin's voice was heard from the phone call that David picked up.

"Ok. Do you know who did it?" ask David again. He was very curious about the people who had hurt Rena.

"His name is Mira Pak. The second child of the Handono family, the future wife of Malvin Dirgantara," said Alvin.

What business does Malvin's wife-to-be hurt Rena? What is the relationship between the two of them? Think David.

"Your job today is done Alvin, you can go home. But I need you to find out what's the connection between Rena and that woman!" David's orders to Alvin.

"Good Sir. I'll find out" Alvin replied before they hung up.

David also checked the CCTV video that Alvin sent to him. It seems that it was not Rena who provoked the incident, but it was precisely Renalah who was encouraged by the woman. And that made David very angry.

But he also thought, what caused the woman to want to hurt Rena? Do they know each other? Who exactly is Rena? And why didn't Rena fight being treated like that?

Rena came out of her room as she finished her bath and wore long pajamas.

"Sit here Rena," said David commanding Rena to be on the couch with him.

"Sit down, I'll just treat your wound. You don't want your face to swell tomorrow morning, do you?" david asked while shaking his head seeing that Rena was not sitting as she ordered.

Rena finally sat down and David applied the medicine on both cheeks of Rena who was still red.

"You really don't know, who did this?" david asked while watching the expression on his face.

"No sir," replied Rena directing her gaze elsewhere.

"You know, I don't like being lied to. Why don't you just tell me what's the matter between you and Mira Handono?" ask David.

Rena took a quick look in surprise, towards David.

"Where does he know about Mira? Don't - don't he already know what happened?" inner Rena.

"I'll definitely know if Rena wants you to tell a story or not" David said as if reading Rena's mind.

"I also do not know why he arrived - suddenly pushed me," said Rena finally.

"I don't know him at all" said Rena, still trying to cover up her past.

"Alright I'll find out for myself" said David as he moved from his seat.He knew Rena was hiding something.

David walked towards the drinking water dispenser and picked up a glass of water then sat back down on the sofa.

"Sir, don't bother. It's just a small matter. Maybe it's just a misunderstanding," said Rena trying to make this not great. He did not want David to investigate the matter further.

"Rena, you're my personal assistant! No one could carelessly treat my employees and get away with it! Hurting you means looking for trouble with me!" David said loudly.

"But Sir...." Rena wants to say.

"That's Rena! Now you take this medicine!" David said while offering some pills given by the doctor and a glass of water. Rena did not immediately reach for the medicine and the glass in David's hand.

"Let's drink! I won't be home until you take this medicine!" David said, "Or do you want me to stay over?"
