David's Confession

"Why don't you let me go home?" asked Rena standing up while looking at David. Voice slowly. But his eyes began to pierce. Rena tries not to cry, though her heart rages on hearing David has a child with Aleta.

"Because we need to talk. I don't want any misunderstanding between us" David said, approaching Rena. He hugged Rena when their distance was close.

"I'm sorry Ren." said David as he kissed Rena's head.

A tear from Rena fell on her cheek, even though Rena tried to hold it back.

David who saw it immediately approached him, then took Rena to sit on the nearest sofa.

"Rena, I want you to know that me and Aleta are nothing else. I had no feelings for her, except as a friend. That's all," said David.

"I don't care. It's none of my business" Rena said trying to look unconcerned.

"If you don't care, you're not like this baby" David said with a smile.

Rena just kept quiet did not respond.

"Ren, I'll be honest with you" David said as he looked down at Rena's face.

"I'm not a saint, I've had sex with some women" David told Rena.

Rena raised her face and looked at David's face.

"I went to college in LA for a few years, and yeah, dated a couple of girls like most college kids there. Nothing serious" said David, looking at Rena.

"When I returned to town B and met Aleta, as I told you before. We're dating. And yes, Aleta and I have done it several times" David said, looking at Rena's eyeballs, which also looked at him.

"But Rena, I've always been careful when I do it. I am not careless and always use safety. So I'm pretty sure that's not my son. Even when I found out that Aleta was pregnant, I was sure she wasn't my son, and Aleta admitted that it was Varell's son, not mine" David said.

"But Aleta said.." said Rena remembering what Aleta had just said.

"I don't know why he arrived saying that the boy was my son" David said.

"But somehow I'm going to keep doing DNA tests on that kid" David said.

"What if he's your son?" ask Rena.

"If he was my son, I would be responsible for that boy. While my relationship with Aleta, it will remain like this" David said.

"Adrena Clarissa Princess," said David as he lifted Rena's chin to look at her.

"I'm only going to marry a woman and she's Renatta Azaria Princess Alfaro" David said as he looked at Rena's eyes, looking surprised after hearing the name mentioned by David.

Rena immediately stood up and turned her body, not daring to look at David.

"Why...did you say that name?" asked Rena nervously then bit her lower lip.

"David David already know my true identity?" inner Rena is restless.

"Why? Are you jealous of that woman's name?" david asked, trying to hold back his laughter.

"Oh, no, no. I'm not jealous" Rena said evasively.

"But...why did you mention that name?" ask Rena again who is still curious about the reason David mentioned his real name.

"I'll tell you why tomorrow. Now I'm hungry we eat first" David said to Rena while holding Rena to the dining table.

"Tell me now." Rena said as she flicked David's steps.

"Dear dear, I can't tell you here" David said as he pulled Rena's hand towards the dining table.

David called Jefri.

"You can come in" said David.

Before long Jefri and the other servants walked into their respective workspaces.

"I'll reheat the dish for a bit, sir," Jefri said.

David nodded and sat Rena in the dining chair next to him. Rena was silent during that dinner. Occasionally he glanced at David who was smiling stifledly looking at him.
