"Hello dear," said David who was standing at the door of his apartment with a bunch of red and pink roses.

David immediately handed the rose he was carrying to Rena and kissed her cheek.

David's face looks very happy especially when last afternoon Rena called and invited him to dinner in his apartment.

"Thank you," said Rena while inhaling the fragrant aroma of the beautiful rose fragrance in her hand.

"You alone?" asked Rena while closing the door.

"Yes, I told Eddy to drive Alvin home," David replied as he put his bag on the table and opened his suit. Then put it on the back of the sofa.

"What about your car? Everything good?" david asked as he hugged Rena and put his forehead on Rena's forehead.

"good. Audrey delivered it this afternoon, thank you, "Rena replied.

"Did you choose that car?" ask Rena.

"Audrey recommended it. He said, the car is suitable for you to use every day. Not very flashy. You likey?"

"Like. I'll wear it every day" Rena replied, letting go of David's hug and walking towards the kitchen.

David smiled happily, his nose sniffing - sniffing the aroma of food that airs in Rena's apartment.

"What are you cooking, Yang? Smells good?" david asked as he inhaled the aroma of cooking from the direction of Rena's kitchen.

"I want to make a steak for you." said Rena while putting the roses that David brought into a long clear pot in his kitchen and then put it on the dining table.

Rena cooks David western cuisine, in the form of Garlic Butter Steak and Scalloped Potatoes and Avocado Caesar Salad. Scalloped Potatoes was finished before David came, just to grill the steak that had been marinated.

"You wait, just for a moment" Rena said with a smile and walked back to her kitchen.

Rena started grilling two pieces of rib eyes meat on a pan with canola oil, and turned them over after a while then fertilized them with thyme, garlic and butter.

The smell of meat roasted by Rena made David rise from his seat and walk closer to Rena who was cooking.

"It looks good Yang. I'm so hungry" David said, hugging Rena from behind.

Not the first time David hugged her and Rena was getting used to David's embrace so she didn't turn him down.

"Do you like the medium?" asked Rena while watching the meat that was on her grill.

"Yes medium, don't overcook. It seems to be enough, Yang." said David who also noticed the meat on the pan.

Rena immediately lifted the meat steak and let it briefly so that the temperature slightly dropped, then sliced it with a thickness of 2 cm before she put it on the dinner plate. Juicy red strokes among the still hot steak meat were seen between the pieces of meat. David gulped his saliva looking at Rena's cooking.

"Let's go, I can't wait to try to taste the cuisine of my Dear Wife Candidate" David said as he brought two dishes containing steak meat towards the dining table.

Rena smiles at the call from David for her. 'My Beloved Wife Candidate,' red hue graced Rena's face.

Rena followed David's steps towards the dining table while carrying the Scalloped Potatoes bowl that had been on the grill and also the Caesar Salad that had been prepared.

"Other than this, Yang? Wow, you are amazing! You prepared all this for me?" asked David when he saw the food brought by Rena.

Rena nodded and smiled.

"Try it" Rena said, taking a spoonful of Scallope Potatoes to David's dinner plate.

David immediately took his cutlery and tried Rena's cooking.

First he took a steak that looked very juicy and appetizing. The smell made David could no longer bear to put a piece of meat in his mouth. He chewed it without a sound.

"What a bacon this is," David's inner. He loved Rena's steak, and smiled at the beautiful girl watching him eat.

Then David took a pinch of Scalloped Potatoes from his plate with a fork and put it in his mouth.

"Geez! Why is it so salty?" inner David.

David's slightly changed face held a salty taste in his tongue, but remained in his swallow as he glanced towards Rena and smiled.

"How's it feel? You likey?" ask Rena expectantly.

David nodded, then drank a few sips of water and replied, "Yes, I like it,"

There's no way David said he didn't like it. He did not want to disappoint his beloved girl who had taken the trouble to cook for him.

Pretty good taste too, praise Rena to herself, then take the Scollaped Potatoes and start eating them.

"Week!"

David tried not to laugh.

"Why didn't you tell me it tastes salty?" asked Rena while looking at David who was still eating his cooking, then glanced at his Scollaped Potatoes.

"Don't eat, you'll get sick" said Rena, taking David's plate and separating Scollaped Potato from the plate.

"Wait a minute, let me fry some potatoes" said Rena, turning over David's steak plate and going to the kitchen.

"No need. Finish your meal, there's still a salad we can eat" David said, holding Rena's hand and pointing Caesar Salad at the table with his eyes.

Rena sat back down. He felt very careless to put a lot of salt in his cooking. If only he had more concentration on cooking than thinking about his lost wallet.

Rena did lose her wallet that day, she couldn't find it in her bag or in the car. Though he remembered having put his wallet in the bag when paying for his drink at the cafe last afternoon when he was with Audrey.

"Not to think about it, besides I really like your steak, it's delicious. I hope to enjoy it every day" said David who saw Rena just speechless. He did not want to make Rena feel guilty for cooking too salty food. If someone else did it, something else.

"I didn't think much about it, it's just that I lost my wallet this afternoon" Rena said.

"Where?" david asked to know.

"Somehow, as I remember I put it in a bag, but it's not there," said Rena while eating a salad in front of her.

"You sure? Did you forget to put it?" ask David.

"Looks not. Maybe I dropped it. I'll check it again tomorrow" Rena said.

"You write down everything in your wallet. Later, let Alvin take care of it." said David.

"I don't want to bother.." Rena said unfinished as David cut his words.

"No. I paid Alvin a very high salary, so he could help solve things like this," David insisted.

"Alright," finally Rena nodded.

The two of them had just finished their salad when David started flirting with Rena, "You know, people say that if you cook to pickle, the sign that you want to marry! It's true you want to marry!"
