“I will change for the sake of Lala,” firmly Bhishma, “Ku Ajeng can understand me as before.”
“Sorry sir, it's not like I'm defending mbak Ale and disrespecting father as my boss. What is possible is that the marriage that has been separated from the father will be the same after all that happened, even though the state is not legal, yet, but in the eyes of religion there is no bond between the father and mbak Ale,“ Ibn this time expressed his opinion logically.
“I've asked a religious person. As long as the divorce has not been processed, the religious court can still refer. And I know what I have to do to save our marriage,” Bhishma said confidently.
“What is sure mbak Ale will accept all your unilateral wishes?” ibn could not believe the optimism that Bisma showed.
“You're right. His attitude changed for me. He regarded me as a stranger and treated me like anyone else, ” complained Bhishma.
“For me it's natural. Because you have chosen and lived your own life by not involving mbak Ale and Lala in it.”
“I feel tormented now .... “ Bhishma could not hide the tightness he felt.
“Try to love Deby sincerely. Maybe there is still goodness in him,” Ibnu's advice, “Let mbak Ale live a life that he feels comfortable.”
“It feels like now I can't get away from Lala and Ajeng,” Bhishma stared fixedly at her little daughter who has now fallen asleep in her lap.
“I just hope father and mother Ale find each other happiness and no selfishness in it anymore. And may Allah show you the best path for father and mother Ale in the future.”
Bisma looked at Ibnu for a moment. He knew, Ibn was the most honest subordinate he knew. Always speak as is and never look for face only for his personal gain.
“Do you think there is a way for both of us?” Bisma again asked Ibnu who seemed to think hard about the complexity of the relationship he was living today.
“Bapak certainly knows better what is best,” Ibnu said diplomatically.
“Thank you for your time Nu. I will not break your promise,” Bhishma patted Ibnu's shoulder once the two decided to separate.
Carrying Lala back to the car. The clock has shown at twelve noon. Sunlight is so fierce that it makes the hot atmosphere stinging.
Dimas and Hilman's trip to where Tejo's pack turned out to be fruitless. When meeting with the landowner, in fact, there are buyers who pay without bidding at all.
“Pardon mr. son .. “ many times Mr. Tejo submitted an apology for not providing information that the land containing his catfish pond has been sold.
“Can we know who has bought it sir?” curiosity makes Hilman want to know the people who have preceded him to pay for the land that contains some catfish ponds that so desired Ajeng.
“It doesn't look like anyone here. From the appearance of an out-of-town person,” pack Tejo said slowly.
In Hilman's heart held back the vexation. How not, they have bargained and agreed on the price. But back again he could only hold back.
Dimas was silent looking at the two who were silent with their respective minds. He also did not know what to say. Just so listeners and observers see everything that happens.
“It just so happens two days after the arrival of nak Hilman, my eldest daughter needs capital for the extension of her rent,” Pak Tejo said with a face full of regret, saying, “Until the next day someone from the city came and offered some money to pay padang mr.”
Hilman exhaled trying to throw off the vexation that had perched on his head. Want how else, it means that it has not been Ajeng's sustenance to have land available catfish ponds that have been partially ready to harvest.
“Alright sir. I can understand him,” a thin smile rises on Hilman's lips makes Tejo's pack feel relieved.
“Thank you son,” pack Tejo said quietly, “Hopefully Ajeng not disappointed ..”
“Alright sir, we excuse you.”
With the frustration, Hilman finally left the residence of Mr. Tejo followed by Dimas who was silent unmoved. The departure of the two made Mr. Tejo sigh in relief.
“So the land as large as it has been paid by others yes mas?” finally Dimas ventured to ask Hilman once the two were in the car to continue the journey home.
“That's Dim,” Hilman said with a heavy sigh.
I don't think he has the face to talk about his failure to Ajeng. But it's all happened. He hopes Ajeng is not disappointed because his desire to add to the catfish pool business failed miserably.
“I hope your mbakyu is not angry,” Hilman said in a worried tone.
Hearing Dimas' words, a little bit makes Hilman calm even though he is still unsure because he has not met Ajeng. The journey passed without much conversation in it.
Meanwhile at his residence Ajeng had prepared food to host Hilman who had called him a few minutes ago. He has not known that the departure of Hilman and Dimas does not bring results, because there has been no talk that leads to it.
While waiting for the arrival of the two, Ajeng's eyes did not stop glancing towards the wall clock. It's been almost three hours since Bhishma brought Lala outside. He was worried something might happen to his daughter. But he tried to dismiss the negative thoughts that suddenly appeared in his head.
He was sure that Bhishma would take good care of their daughter. Slowly the worry began to disappear from his mind. At least he had not thought about Dimas' words about Bhishma's attitude lately.
Ajeng had thrown away the sense that was once present in his heart when the second Bhishma expressed a desire to part. He is self-aware that he is not the choice of Bhishma to be together until he grows old.
Even though their divorce has not been knocked hammer, but Ajeng has accustomed himself to living without the presence of Bhishma and he has been able to live it. So he kept Dimas' words out of his mind, and thought they were just nonsense that didn't need to be addressed.
“Assalamu’alaikum ..” Dimas' loud voice stops Ajeng's activity.
“Wa’alaikumussalam .. “ quickly Ajeng welcomed the arrival of the two.
Hilman's feeling was uncomfortable from returning home empty-handed. He felt disappointed in himself, coming with some unpleasant news.
“Why not get excited?” Ajeng frowned when he saw Hilman's lackluster face, while Dimas was ordinary.
“Feeding first. Udah laper nih ..” Dimas left both of them.
“True mas,” said Ajeng fast, “Let's continue.”
Hilman just nodded at Ajeng's invitation. He has not prepared a reassuring answer if Ajeng knows the failure of his departure and Dimas.
“Eating a lot of mas, so that it is strong to face reality .. “ the rest of Damar joked when the three had faced the menu presented at the dining table.
“Still Dim,” Hilman nodded with his faint smile.
Seeing a very appetizing lunch made Hilman forget for a moment the disappointment that still reigned in his mind. He eats very well.
Coincidentally this time Ajeng generously invited him to lunch together after the closeness that occurred a year ago.
Dimas continued to eat lunch when Hilman stopped by drinking water that was available in front of him.
“Jeng, I'm sorry ... “ Hilman finally started to make a sound after being silent for a while.
“For .... “ Ajeng stared at Hilman with a wrinkled jidat.
“It turns out that Mr. Tejo had released it on someone else five days after our arrival,” Hilman said with a guilty feeling.
Ajeng was stunned to hear Hilman's words. Though he had hoped a lot with the pond catfish ready for harvest that they came some time ago.
“What's Tejo pack tell who bought it?” Ajeng did not think with Hilman's words.
“It just so happens that his daughter is out of capital. Mr. Tejo did not have time to contact us, coinciding with the buyer from the city who immediately paid him,”, said Hilman lethargic not excited.
Seeing the face of Hilman who felt guilty made Ajeng heartless. He immediately smiled.
“Yes no pa-pa to mas. Means it is not yet my soul mate ... “ casually Ajeng said to reduce the guilt of a man who is so good to him and began to fill his days lately.
“I will try to find another land that will support your restaurant cafe business,” Hilman said solemnly.
“Just relax mas,” by Dimas fast, “Kan I have said, mbak not too ngoyo to expand his business.”
“Ya, I'm sure it's.”
The three ended up having a light conversation with Dimas who was still continuing his untitled lunch.
