18:A.Looking For Comp-Onion! The Trios!

The twilight ray instantly greeted the two silver-white-haired players as soon as they exited the old building on the south hill.

Silent for a moment in front of the door, the two looked at the sun that was beginning to disappear at Terris.

'. . . Alice?' call Elcia.

'Hmmn?'

'Going through the Basmael mountains. . , um. . , that's a problem right?'

Fully aware of it, Alice began to feel dizzy. 'Uuh. . .'

Looking back at the Quest that Bill had given this time, both of them had the top priority of going towards Middle Terris. And the first obstacle they had to face was none other than the border of the Basmael mountains.

And as they already know themselves, the Beast who was in that place always waited for their prey with fangs and sharp honed claws — ready to kill whenever the player was seen.

Fortunately Bill did not let the two go unprepared. In addition to finally obtaining the Long Sword from his first Clearance Reward Quest, they obtained the map previously shown as well as some money for it, including some other Items. Then of course the field of Ashcor, which Elcia is currently carrying, because Alice has brought two Long Sword itself on her back.

Although they could face an average Beast in that place without much difficulty, other threats would always exist.

They might encounter a pack full of wolves like last time, or face even more dangerous Beasts. Forget the mountains, because even with a party of five, they were still not so far away from exploring the Basmael forest section.

"Look at yourself" said Alice, starting to spread it over the table. And when the contents were revealed, Isval and Franz immediately opened his eyes wide.

Unable to contain his shock, Isval began to ask in a trembling voice. "W-you got the map from Halfling's?"

A nod by Alice.

". . . You guys are the first players to have this, quite lucky" Franz said with a slightly envious look.

Unfortunately, Elcia tilted her head and showed a face full of question marks when she heard Franz's words. ". . . Is that so?"

Before finally realizing something was wrong from the two girls. "Ah. . aaah. . , I know, you don't know yet if no one is selling maps here, right?"

"really?" alice asked later, with a face of disbelief.

Scratching his head that somehow suddenly became itchy, Isval started to give a scolding. "I suspected! Enough's enough! Put that map in now, and listen to it."

With a sudden change in Isval's tone, Alice closed the map and put it back in.

Sighing, Isval finally said. "You know Sky Chaser, right?"

" "certain." "

And Isval dropped a reality that shook both of them. "They bid a map with fifty Gold but didn't get one."

Now it was the turn of the two girls who had to widen their eyes to hear Isval's words.

"Eh. . ?"

"Map? Just for a map?" ask Alice, surprised.

Both finally nodded.

"Good, be careful with that. You know Player Killing is still possible if someone else sees the map" Isval said, warning the two while watching the surroundings.

Luckily, the Subjugation Center was not crowded at the moment because Mortred, Isval and Franz decided to return early, since they were only three in the hunt today.

Mortred who was done with the Drop Items affair said as he took his seat. "Are you done with the Quest?"

"Ms."

"It was fast enough for the size of the Quest of the Demon Trainer. Are you ready for Grinding again as usual?"

However, Alice shook her head. "Not at all. . ."

Mortred also showed a slightly disappointed face hearing that. "That's so. . ."

"But" said Alice.

"Me and Elcia are going to Middle Terris. Are you guys coming?"

Opening the Quest panel, Elcia tapped on the icon in the bottom corner of the panel to share the details with the three people.
