09:B.Alpha, The Second Round

Slowly, seven figures revealed themselves from behind the shadows.

A woman with pure white hair reached the waist, with blood red eyes. He carried a crystal ball, Orb, hovering over his pale-skinned palm.

—A Mage. Although not a specific mention because it only refers to the Orb in his hand, which shows one of the characteristics of the Magical Damage Dealer type Damage.

"Magic Barrage" he said, so clearly. The orb in his hand was flaming dimly.

And instantly, five white magic balls appeared behind the figure. Which instantly shot forth without pause towards Forest Wolf Alpha.

Dar! Dar! Dar! Dar! Dar!

A series of explosions were heard after the balls hit their targets. Leaving behind Alpha who now looks angry, growling heavily.

Oh please. ., not anymore, thought Alice. He felt he had heard enough of that howl.

"Ugh. . ." Elcia also began to feel annoyed at the wolf.

Not only did it give him a Debuff, the Alpha howl brought another wolf from behind the trees —and this was the third time. But fortunately Debuff like Terror and Trauma only applies once to them. Otherwise, the two girls would have been definitely killed even before Haru and his group arrived.

However, everything was different for Haru's group who had just entered the battle. The nine people stood stiff due to the Debuff effect: Trauma.

Forest Wolf naturally did not stay idle when their prey could not move. Haru, who was besieged by several wolves could only gulp. Even the other wolves ran towards where the Arcane Archer was.

The fangs ended up biting his Rapier blade. Elcia pulled the Rapier quickly, leaving a line of white wounds on Forest Wolf's mouth, followed by the Rune Shield that came over. "Bashhash!"

"Thank you!" said Haru.

On the other hand, Alice jumped in front of the Arcane Archer, and swung the Training Long Sword in her hand.

At about the same time, one from Haru's group shouted out loud.

A man with a metal armour, mounted from toe to head, carried a shield and Gladius in his hand.

Warrior's Call, an Area of Effect (AoE) type Buff Skill that amplifies attack power and removes Debuff, but has a long Cooldown.

"Good Tacha!" said the person next to him.

That person immediately raised his War Hammer, attacking the Forest Wolf that had begun to arrive. "Blood Strength! Heavy Swing!"

Forest Wolf swallowed the hammer raw, and it was condensed into the air with ease. Which then became an easy target for the Arcane Archer; after being freed from Debuff.

"Arrow, Precision Aim."

[Fatal Damage!]

The real battle begins.

Eleven players battle a group of Forest Wolf and Forest Wolf Alpha in the depths of the Basmael forest.

"Heavy Chop!"

A Great Sword swung rapidly, splitting a wolf with ease. Stern, a man with red hair who was previously found with Haru.

Stern entered the battle, starting to attack ferociously. Until by chance,

"Yo, Little Silver." he said. The two players stood their backs in the middle of the place.

Although the girl feels uncomfortable with strangers, circumstances make her have to work together.

"Eh? I see, you guys look alike." said Stern, a little embarrassed.

". . . Maybe."

Elcia subconsciously glanced at Alice after hearing Stern —'s dangerous words in the current situation.

"A. . ?" the girl's eyes instantly returned in battle. And found Stern blocking a Forest Wolf that almost pounced on him.

Over time, Elcia and Alice finally put on a calmer face but remained focused. Seeing the cooperation of Haru's group so good, the two began to be optimistic to get out safely.

The beast stared furiously at the sight of his herd being slaughtered to the ground by a group of Halflings.

"Well, it's time for round two!" said Haru with a grin. He and his team have a purpose. And that was revenge for the Beast Boss in front of them.

Always without giving time to breathe, Alpha came attacking the group.

Boss Raid begins!

Stern began to give command to everyone. "Tacha, Sierra!"

"Ready."

"Yes!"

Two players advanced forward, Tacha with his heavy equipment and Sierra with War Hammer in his hands. They came to take on the role of Frontline Tanker, with Tacha as the Main Tank.

"Lilly, Debuff!"

The Mage also moved in response to the order. "Lower Resistance! Aura Supressing! Power Absorb's! Weakened Defense! Agility Restrain's!"

Alpha speed dropped instantly with the Debuff pile that Lily sincerely gave. Making both front row players easy to handle early attacks.

"Shield Charge!"

"Heavy Swing!"

[Stone!]

Gaining the momentum to attack, Stern again gave the order. "Now!"

The entire group of Haru finally moved to gang up on the poor wolf mercilessly.

While the battle was going on, the two silver girls sat on the edge of the place. They decided to rest and recuperate, choosing not to take part in the Boss Raid that was going on. After all, the two were not part of Haru's group that wanted to kill the wolf. And,

Alice killed Forest Wolf more than hers required, and now it looks like a one-sided massacre. They had never expected to end up facing a full flock of Forest Wolf and made it out alive after that. It was both luck and bad luck.

Something suddenly came out of Elcia's Traveler Bag. Rabbits.

"Can!" alice said, instantly catching the cute creature and smiling happily.

Elcia laughed at Alice's behavior. He began to realize one thing; they had slowly changed since entering this world.

Turning to watch Boss Raid while eating the sandwich they brought, Alice began to think of something that felt stuck in her mind.

"Any. . ." murmured Alice, full of confusion.

". . . Yes." replied Elcia, while feeding the rabbits nearby.

Haru's group was seen facing the Beast Boss without any significant difficulty. And if true, there must be another reason that left seven players other than Haru and Stern dead.

And without waiting for long, the answer they were looking for came by itself.

The Beast Boss showed a change in its appearance; the feathers on its body stood upright, and its claws became longer.

Instantly, Elcia was taken aback by the increase in speed Alpha experienced.
