It was almost noon on the fourth day of Terris. At the Combat Training Field, Alice stood firmly with her sword held tightly in her hand with Bill.
Given the time she had for less than a day, Alice intended to complete her practice Quest that day as well.

"Hoh, your skills have improved enough for a Novice" said Bill, appreciating the girl's hard work.
Receiving the compliment, Alice smiled faintly. "I have to finish tomorrow."
A grin formed on Bill's face. "Heh. I'll see if you're capable of that, silver girl!"
"More than that!" alice said without hesitation. "Phantasmal Slash!"
Of course Bill did not keep looking at it, and intended to return fire with fire. "Phantasmal Slash."

The two Long Swords instantly clashed, making a distinctive metallic shrill sound heard on that green field. But not only that, because the blue lines of Phantasmal Attack came following.

Unfortunately, Alice's Mastery Phantasmal Slash is nothing more than Novice Combatant V. Against someone with the Combatant Veteran Mastery, the attack he launched was easily wiped out by Bill's attack.

Two pairs of blue lines collided and negated each other. However, it still separated two lines of cutters that slid directly towards Alice.

"Magic Amplification?! Goody! Now let's try this."
The bearded halfling then raised his Long Sword above his head with one hand.
Alice felt her back shiver suddenly when she saw that position.
'Svertical freedom!' he thought, and reflexively directly moved sideways to avoid the trajectory of that sword.
"—Phantasmal Breaker!"
And as the Long Sword in Halfling's hand hit the ground, a crack appeared and extended at high speed, followed by a wave of Phantasmal Attack that slashed the surrounding land and grass.

Never expecting the attack to produce such a terrifying result, Alice who was made careless ended up being the soft target of the Phantasmal Attack blue blades.
