Her name was Amaryllis Illian Linnea. An ordinary schoolboy with academic grades that can be said. . , good enough?
Yeah, pretty good said the man himself.
But where is the definition of the word 'enough' if almost all the numbers are always above ninety? From the subjects of logic that rack the brain like a laundry cloth. It's up to those memory subjects that make you feel like a Google search engine.
In fact, Linnea was a multi-talent who was quite proud of her school.
. . .
A cloudy day at Yogyakarta High School.
Kriiiying-ggg!
Rest bells ring out loud all over the school.
"Okay, everyone take a break" said a male teacher as soon as the bell stopped.
And after the teacher left the room, the whole class stayed on its seat for a moment. Whether it's leaning against a chair or putting its head on a table. Some are just chatting with friends nearby.
. . . Except for someone who keeps scraping ink on a notebook in front of him.
"Murid exemplary emang different. . ." chirped a female student, a little satirizing; but of course with a clean sliver so that the person in question does not realize it.
Time passed until the class was out of the room. "Um. . . done."
Closing his writing book, he finally left the classroom. Go to the school cafeteria which is not too crowded.
However, every step outside the classroom came to the attention of other students. Although uncomfortable, Linnea had already started to get used to such a gaze after so many years.
Being someone with a great background, and although reluctant, something like this was inevitable at all. Including himself who comes from the Amaryllis family.
In short, the Amaryllis family contains people who hold positions or have a large image in society. And even though Linnea was just an unfinished student, the achievements she had accomplished alone could not be ignored.
He himself actually felt more comfortable to get educated privately, and had asked his parents several times. But his request only made him end up hearing a raw repulsion at all times.
The reason itself is quite simple. The lesson of social interaction with mental growth in that community environment is important. They obviously did not want Linnea to be a person who had difficulty making social interactions later on.
'Tired. .' lamented in his heart, while putting on a flat face. Ignoring the whispers behind him, he immediately rushed over.
To his destination, Linnea quickly bought a sandwich and a cup of instant coffee which was his daily menu. And after getting everything, he immediately walked away from the place as quickly as possible, disappearing from sight.
. . .
Perhaps because the interest of the students in historical matters is not too much, as well as the stigma of historical lessons that are considered boring; Extra-mulicular history is only followed by a few people including himself.
The room itself is not bad. It resembles a mini library with several shelves full of books on its left and right sides. Tables and chairs are laid out to form the letter U leading to the entrance. And finally, a row of windows covered in light blue curtains on the opposite side of the room.
"Sup. . ." Linnea sighed slowly. He chose one of the books from the shelf, then sat at the back table in the room, the middle table flanked by the left and right sides.
"Can we hold on, Alice?" He asked in a small voice.
. . . Silent.
A monologue question. It is clearly said to be a monologue in the absence of the presence of others in the room where it is now. But that is only true in the viewpoint of others, because. . .
'Should!' answer a voice with an encouraging tone.
"Um. . , alright" he said softly as he stuffed the bread into his mouth, revealing a blank look.
Linnea still remembered her unpleasant past. A time when he was considered a strange person, shunned and ostracized.
The reason is one thing.
The Self Alternative Parallel Mind Syndrome.
A unique state where he is not one but more, as if in his body there is another 'himself. But it's not a condition called Alter Ego or another mental illness called Multiple Personality Disorder, nor is it Schizophrenia.
Linnea himself admitted that he was difficult to say sane in his 'normal' view, but he also denied to be said to be crazy.
Only, Linnea was consciously able to perform two different focus tasks at the same time; that was actually impossible for ordinary people to do. And coupled with her being someone who possessed superior IQ quality, Linnea was said to be a genius among intellectual geniuses.
It was as if he were two people, they said.
However, behind all that there is always another concern. Psychologists, and psychiatrists explain if there is a small possibility that can cause Linnea to lose itself slowly.
Everything was based on his mind being able to work in parallel independently, where the orientation about the word 'me' became crumbling. And therefore, people's view of him is 'a genius with mental problems'.

And someone who would be known as Amaryllis Illian Alice.
