Walking through the middle of nowhere, two players explore the Basmael forest.
Elcia and Alice occasionally looked around, observing. Thanks to Haru's warning, the two became misgivings. The group of nine people were almost wiped out and obviously they were desperate to stay inside the forest. But after all, that Quest could not be completed by itself.
Still putting a hand on her Rapier hilt, Elcia cast out a rather uncomfortable silence.
"Alice, um, where?" tanyakanya.
"No idea" Alice replied casually. The girl simply shrugged her shoulders as if this was not a matter to be fussed over.
"May. . ." Elcia complained softly. He hates to walk long distances, but it looks like they have to do that.
Monsters, or called Beasts, are rarely seen around the village even though there are sometimes one or two. For that, players in this place enter the forest. Unfortunately even though they were inside the forest, the Beasts never gathered in one place. And Spawn Point or Beast emergence point is set to at least keep a distance from each player's location. Players should always move in search of it.
Srak.
A voice rang out, causing the two to pull the weapon. Elcia immediately stood at a position similar to the time she had dueled. The shield protects the chest, one leg in front, and Rapier is drawn straight forward. While Alice made her Long Sword cross down, making it like a kind of shield.
Srak-srak!
Determining the direction the sound was coming from, the two soon found a moving bush.
Srak-srak!
Elcia gulps. The atmosphere turned gripping, both of them had no idea what was heading towards them. And caused his heartbeat to become irregular.
Till—!
Srak!
The figure came out. With pure white fur and red eyes. A gray-colored writing appeared hovering above him..
[Wild Rabbit]
A rabbit that looks cute and harmless. Both of them immediately exhaled, almost having a heart attack because of the creature.
"Haaah. . , I guess what." said Alice.
Elcia sheathed her Rapier and immediately crouched down, extending her hand. He wanted to get the rabbit closer. "This. . ."
The rabbit approached slowly, looking wary of the two figures in front of him. Until after getting close enough, the rabbit sniffed the girl's hand. And,
—Gigit.
Elcia
Health: 119/120 (-1)
The girl was not surprised by her bite because she often played with rabbits. He loved this cute hairy animal a long time ago. His other hand then reached into his Traveler Bag. He brought food, and it was meat-filled bread with vegetables. Taking one, Elcia separated the lettuce from her bread and gave it to the rabbit, which was immediately devoured quickly.
[Title : Little Tamer got it!]
"Nm. . ?" Elcia looked at the notification panel that appeared suddenly. The girl did not expect to get a Title just from feeding a wild rabbit.
"Good job, eh?" chirp Alice, smile.
". . . Maybe."
Carrying her in an embrace, the rabbit looked comfortable and unperturbed. But Elcia noticed something had changed in the creature.
The Tamed Wild Rabbit
Level 1: 1
Health: 24/24
In addition to the word "Tamed" before the writing Wild Rabbit — which means 'permission', Level and Health also appear below it.
The girl tilted her head to see him. "Alice, before that, his health hasn't shown up, has it?"
"Oh? Yes, I did not see the health of the rabbit before." replied Alice.
He suddenly realized something and continued. "Wait a minute, I've never seen Health Bar have anyone else."
Elcia nodded. Not once did the two see Health displayed other than their own character. Which means, the player cannot see the Health limit other than his own character.
It reinforced a few things;
The two did not see the Health display when they did a Duel on the first day of play. Or Alice, while training with Bill.
In addition, even just a name will not be displayed clearly before a particular party is introduced or introduced.
It happened to Bill and Haru. Their names appear overhead, only after Bill introduces himself and Haru's partner.
"It's going to be a hassle" Alice said.
Whatever, Alice thought. He chose to ignore it but thought to be more careful.
He then glanced at Elcia, only to see the girl playing around with the rabbit earlier.
". . ."
And, Alice finally fell into the temptation of those fine hairs.
. . .
Continuing the journey, the two have additional members, her rabbit. Elcia carried it over her head, which somehow the rabbit was able to remain silent.
However, just a few steps away from his place, they heard howls from afar.
Aaouuu!
The rabbit above Elcia's head raised her head along with her moving ears. The two girls exchanged looks for a moment. Wolves, which was their goal to get into the forest, finally showed their existence.
Alice then nodded once.
Pulling out the sword from its scabbard, Elcia and Alice immediately showed a look of caution. And move towards that voice.
That howl sounded once again. It made it easy for the two girls to track him down.
And sure enough, there was a serigara not far from the sight of the two after searching around for a few minutes.
[The Forest Wolf]
Neither Alice nor Elcia attacked. Wolves usually have groups, except the lone wolf. Preventing risk, the two move around silently.
Thanks to the Halfling race's innate Skills that made them hard to find, both of them could do that without being caught. And after making sure there were no other wolves, the two separated. They would attack from both directions, pinning down the wolf.
Grrr. . .
The wolf made a low growl while showing its fangs as it saw Elcia walking over to him, along with a rabbit.
Back making a ready position to attack, Elcia looked at the wolf carefully. But not even a second after, the wolf jumped straight towards her face —followed by the rabbit silently frightened with ears folded.
"—Kuh!"
Surprised by the extremely fast movement, Elcia reflexively sent out slashes at the wolf while moving sideways to avoid the claws and fangs that could tear it apart.
A slash!
The slash ended up right hitting the wolf's neck and triggering a special condition.
[Fatal Damage!]
—Kaing!
The wolf immediately whimpered in pain and fell to the ground, having difficulty getting up. While Elcia chose to keep her distance because she was still somewhat surprised by the speed of the wolf.
Alice who saw him immediately ran past Elcia, towards the helpless Beast and used her Nave Sword Technique without a second thought.
"Phantasmal Slash!"
A slash! A slash!
A slash followed a thin blue line regarding Forest Wolf, instantly ending it.
[Quest :
Forest Wolf killed: 1/5]
"Eh?"
". . ?"
The two of them instantly fell silent, shocked that the wolf had instantly died.
