Chapter 4's

Rose walked into the cafe she visited with Annie with Zi and Elga. One of the officers greeted them near the entrance.

“Welcome, want to order normally?” ask the officer.

“Yes, what do you want to drink?” ask Zi to Rose.

“Milkshake,” says Rose. The officer nodded and made their order.

From the way they ordered and their familiarity with the employees, it seems that they have often visited this cafe.

“I thought you wanted to talk to me about something secret? Why did you choose this cafe?” ask Rose.

The cafe is quite crowded with visitors, and several times the cafe officials crossed their desks. This is definitely not the ideal place to talk about the secret.

“Don't worry, everyone else is focused with their respective talks. After all, all the employees here are my cousins,” Zi said.

It was just that there was something Zi did not tell Rose. He deliberately chose this cafe because surely there would be no enemies who could enter this cafe. In addition, he could also tell his cousin that Rose was someone they needed to keep an eye on.

“Then, what do you mean that I am in danger?” ask Rose after their order arrives. Two cups of black coffee for Zi and Elga, as well as a cup of Rose's milkshake.

“Do you know who ordered your services from that company?”

“How can I know? I just picked up the package and was on duty to deliver it. Whoever they are, it's none of my business,” Rose said resentfully.

“You're right. But, actually they made you bait. They are a dangerous organization that seeks to deliver dangerous goods through your services. They knew that if they delivered the goods themselves, they would not survive. That's why they told you to deliver the goods. They also want to see how your fate after that, and miraculously you survived,” Zi explained.

“If it is a dangerous thing, why am I safe? And why should I trust you? You could just make up excuses. If they're a dangerous organization, why don't the police arrest them?” lick Rose.

“Police won't be able to catch them if they don't have any evidence. Their workings are very clean, they will leave no trace or evidence. That's why, even if you survive, they will eventually kill you to remove the traces.”

Rose looked at the serious-looking Zi and the seemingly unconcerned Elga. In his heart he could not stop thinking whether these two figures in front of him were serious or were joking. Dangerous organization? Rose believes they say they're a thief syndicate.

“Looks like there's nothing else we can talk about. I hope you guys no longer bother me,” Rose said.

“Wait, if you don't believe our words, what if you prove it yourself? After you get home from here, tell the person who gave you the package that you met and chatted with us. We also leave something to you. But, don't tell us what we're talking about, just tell me we're Aeternum. How?” Zi.

“I will consider,” replied Rose as she left.

Zi and Elga looked at Rose's departure with meaningful gazes. “Are we going to just let it go kak?” ask Elga.

“Of course not, we already know what Claus' side will do next. We will help him when needed.”

Elga nodded her head to understand, she only needed to carry out her duties according to her brother's plan. In her heart she felt a little pity for Rose, because after this, the woman had no way to return to her normal life.

Rose is waiting for an online motorcycle taxi in front of a store. His mind wandered to the words spoken by Zi. Is it true what he said about dangerous organizations? Rose opened her HP and typed the message into the package's booker just like Zi said. Now, all he had to do was wait for them to reply to his message.

“Wait, instead of worrying about that, I should be worried about my motorcycle! I could just leave that bike. What if when I get back, the bike's gone?”

Rose patted her forehead praying that the bike she left behind was still in place. Otherwise, he might have to change his bike. Fortunately, after getting to the place where he left it, the bike was still there. A man was waiting near her.

“What are you helping to keep my motor? Thanks,” said Rose.

“Not a problem, Brother Zi told me to keep your bike. Then I go first.”

Rose looked at the man's departure with mixed feelings. He had not expected Zi to help him like this. So, is he really good or not? As Rose sensed that, a message entered her HP. The company invited him to meet tonight at a place, and talked about their missing package. The place they chose was a small restaurant not far from where they worked. Rose also accepted the invitation. After all, he must know the truth of all this.

Her night.

Rose came down from the ojek she was riding and stared at the restaurant before her. The restaurant was not very crowded, there were only six people in it. Rose tidied up the clothes she was wearing and felt the folding knife she had hidden in her arm. There is no harm in being careful. Rose looked around the contents of the restaurant and saw the woman who used to meet him at one of the tables.

“Sorry to keep you waiting,” Rose said.

“No problem, I just arrived. Sit down and order something.”

“You said yesterday you met and talked to Aeternum?"

“Yes, they also left me a package,” Rose said as she watched the expression of the woman before her. However, his efforts were in vain because the woman's expression had not changed at all.

“Can I see the contents of the package?”

“Sorry, I can't show it to you. The package was intended for the head of a village.”

“I have to admit all this time your work is very good, I am very happy to have used your services,” said the woman suddenly.

“Thanks. I'm sorry to have lost your package, but if you want to get it back you may be able to talk to Aeternum.”

“No need, I think everything is enough here.”

Rose widened her eyes as the woman pulled out a gun and pointed at Rose. “Sorry, but you have to die.”

“What do you mean? Why are you doing this?!” scream Rose.

Rose looked around the restaurant, trying to ask for help from other restaurant visitors. But the other visitors instead moved towards the exit and windows. They all pulled out a gun and blocked Rose's path to escape.

“What the hell is this?!”

This time Rose completely understood her circumstances. He was framed by this woman. Everything Zi said was true, they were a dangerous organization that did not hesitate to kill anyone. Then, did Zi deliberately tell her to send that message when she knew it would finally be like this? Anger and disappointment arose in Rose. He came to this city to start a new life, instead of dying from being involved in a dangerous organization.

Rose bit her lips so hard that it bled, did she have no choice anymore? Even if Rose tried to fight back with the knife she was carrying, she wouldn't be fast enough to fight the gun. If it's like this, Rose only has one choice, but that means she will uncover her own secrets.

“Splat” blood spurts from a woman's head in front of Rose and soaks Rose's face.

“Bruk” the woman's body fell to the floor. Blood pooled from his head and began to creep into Rose's shoes.

Rose blinked a few times, trying to digest what happened. “CRASH!”

The glass of the restaurant broke and several figures entered the restaurant and dropped the guards. One of the figures picked up Rose and took her away. Rose simply kept quiet and let the figure take her. A few minutes later, they stopped at a place two kilometers away from the restaurant. The figure took Rose down.

“I told you, right?” Zi.

Rose looked at the man with a sharp gaze, “You've guessed this will happen right?”

Zi just kept quiet while looking at Rose's annoyed face.

“Are you satisfied?” ask Rose.

“I was expecting this to happen. But I didn't do this to make you wretched. I know even if you don't send that message, they'll kill you. So, it is better if we take the initiative. I've designed all, and you're not hurt.”

Rose could not deny the man's words. From what happened to mini mala, if there were no of them, Rose would have been dead.

“You should move your residence and move to work. They'll probably come after you again.”

“Are you kidding? I just worked at that company and you told me to stop?!”

“If you don't want to be up to it. But don't tell me that I didn't warn you,” Zi said as she left Rose.

“Wait! Where are you going?”

“My business is done here. Don't worry, after this you won't see me.”

Rose looked at Zi's departure with a look of annoyance. What the fuck? The man did not even explain to him what dangerous organization he was in, or who exactly they were.

“Heh, just wait, I'll investigate everything myself,” Rose murmured.
