Chapter 11's
Rose tapped her finger on the table to the rhythm of the song she heard. The woman licked her dry lips, trying to hide her nervousness. Today he will learn to control his abilities with Leah.
“Hai, sorry yes. Did you wait long? I was still teaching classes,” asked Leah.
“It’s okay, I'm not in a hurry.”
“Come with me,” said Leah.
The girl led Rose to a field with green grass and flowers around her. “Sit on the pedestal,” said Leah pointing to the pedestal already provided.
After sitting cross-legged, Rose saw Leah, “What should I do?”
“Close your eyes, and clear your mind. Focus on the sensations around you, then focus on the positive emotions you have. Imagine a vacant place, then imagine how you want to change that place. You can change the scenery, content, or anything in it. I'll give you ten minutes.”
Rose closed her eyes and removed the worried thoughts she had in her head. He inhaled and sighed slowly, feeling the fresh air in the morning and listening to the sound of birds chirping in the distance.
Rose focused herself on all the positive emotions she was feeling right now and began to imagine the place she wanted to be. Rose envisions buildings with colorful lights, blue, orange and yellow skies, and twilight sun. Now it looks like a beautiful city.
“How?” leah asked as Rose opened her eyes.
“That’s amazing. I feel at ease in there.”
“Of course, it’s part of you. But for other people, it will be deadly. Remember that's. Do you have a name for your void?”
“Name?” Rose was stunned for a moment, “I'll name her Everglow.”

“Of course it's all real. I can do it,” replied Leah.

“Is there any tips for me to succeed?” rose asked trying to focus on the matter now.
“Never hesitate or fear, that's it.”
“Great,” said Rose by force.
Rose felt that this ability was quite troublesome. Everyone would naturally feel fear when they knew they could have been injured or died. But that was the only thing he could not feel.
The woman stared at the book in front of her. He imagined a feeling of relief after a problem was resolved while continuing to focus on the book. Suddenly the book vanished from Rose's face, along with a heavy feeling in her chest.
“Ugh.. did I make it?” ask Rose.
“Yes, you did it. What do you feel?”
“I feel rather heavy and pain in the chest.”
“Alright."
All morning Rose spent moving things into the void. Some succeed, and some fail and only enter half. Leah glanced at her watch which showed eleven o'clock.
“Let’s stop here today,” said.
Rose nodded her head, her head was dizzy and her breathing was slightly wheezing. Although Leah had given time to rest, she still felt all her energy drained.
“Good job Rose, next lesson we will try to move magic and curses to void.”
“When is the next lesson?”
“I'll call you later. I heard you will start working soon,” said Leah.
“Yeah, I'll be a library keeper at the nearest Junior High School starting Monday.”
“Just wait for news from me, meanwhile I suggest that you train the ones I learned until you can do it smoothly.”

“This is the book you borrowed, don't forget to return it for three more days,” Rose told the student who borrowed the book.
It's been three days since Rose worked as a library guard. Unlike what he thought, he enjoyed the job. The quiet atmosphere of the library, and the many books he could read in his spare time made Rose feel happy.
He and Gina also got closer after he saved the Elf. Gina even gave him some tips for moving something to the void.
Rose tidied up her belongings when she heard the bell coming home from school. He stepped quickly towards the safe house, today he promised to accompany Gina to the bookstore.
While walking, Rose could not help herself from thinking about her past. He never thought he would be like this now. Even though he still heard those voices often, at least he was able to move on with life as usual.
“TIIIN!”
The sound of the horn shocked Rose from her daydream. He saw a sand truck speeding uncontrollably towards a small child in front of him. The truck honked repeatedly trying to remind the boy to dodge, but the boy fell silent on the spot.
Rose saw the incident with a trembling body, she had to do something to help the child. Shadows of blood and scattered organs filled Rose's mind.
“NO!!” scream Rose.
Suddenly he felt a huge energy bursting out from within his body, and a tremendous pain in his chest. Rose fell down on the street. Before losing his consciousness, he could faintly see the child surviving, while the sand truck disappeared somewhere. Then everything went dark.
Somewhere else.
“Chairman, there is an important report,” said a short-haired woman on another woman with long hair sitting at a table.
The woman sitting at the table was still flipping through the papers in her hands. The table he sat on himself was full of piles of papers. “What's up?” ask the woman without looking.
“There was a human who had just walked into a safe house these few days. According to reports, this human has a special ability called the vortex. He can move things into the void. So far the Mavis family has handled the case. But there were reports that he had just moved a sand truck on the road with several eyewitnesses.”
“What did you say?!” said the long haired woman.
“I've sent some people from the Mavis family to the scene to erase the memories of the witnesses. The man is currently in the clinic. What’s your order?”
The long-haired woman tapped her finger at the table. “How great is this human ability?”
“Leah says he still can't control his abilities completely.”
“Is she male or female?”
“It’s a she.”
“After she wake up I want to meet her. Give me the complete report about vortex ability.”
“Yes ma’am.”
