The Known Guest

"Ra, today let's come to my house" Ananta took after they finished college.

"What's wrong?".

"Today's my daddy's birthday and at home will be a party".

"Oh so, all right. What time does the show start?".

"Eight night hours. I'll wait you, ok?".

"OKs".

Kinara and Ananta split up.

Upon arrival at the apartment, Kinara immediately opened her closet, looking for clothes she could use to go to the party later that night.

"It looks like there's no party shirt in my closet" Kinara muttered, she glanced at the clock in her room, five in the afternoon Paris time.

"There's still time, I'd better get out and buy a new shirt" Kinara rushes over her coat and looks for a taxi to a shopping mall.

It didn't take long, Kinara arrived at her destination. He immediately entered his favorite clothing store and started looking around for clothes that suited him.

"May I help you?", asked a salesman approaching Kinara who seemed confused about making his choice.

"Oh yeah. I need a dress for a night party" Kinara replied.

The salesperson helped find and select the clothes Kinara wanted and the choice fell on a satin dress with a sky blue A-Line dress model. The appearance of the dress looks sweet with additional access tape on the waist.

After trying on the dress, Kinara immediately paid for it and rushed back to the apartment to clean up and prepare for the pasta of Daddy Dave, Ananta's father.

After the maghrib prayer, Kinara began to be busy dressing herself. The natural make up with the nude shades she chose and the sweet and simple low chignon hairdo made the Kinara look this evening so graceful. He spun several times in front of the mirror to ensure his perfect appearance.

At seventy-thirty p.m., Kinara was tidy with dress, matching color sling bag and white flat shoes. Not to forget he put on his long coat before getting out of the apartment and hailing a taxi.

It took nearly thirty minutes for Kinara to reach Daddy Dave's family home.

The atmosphere of the house already looks crowded and sparkling with a variety of lights and room decorations are beautiful and luxurious.

"Nara, come here", a familiar voice in Kinara's ears made her turn her head. Look Ananta who looks beautiful with a graceful maroon empire dress.

Without waiting for an answer, Giovani was already sitting at the same guest table as Kinara and his sister.

"You're so pretty" Giovani praised as his eyes looked at Kinara.

Kinara smiled faintly, "Thank you".

"Ehm.", Ananta's voice broke her brother's focus.

"Don't try to take a chance, brother. His eyes were guarded", firmly Ananta stared fiercely at his sister.

"Ck, chatty. Indeed Kinara tonight looks very beautiful, any man will certainly praise his appearance", martial Giovani did not want to lose.

The look of the brother's war began to appear, making Kinara uncomfortable to see it.

"Mmm..we'd better enjoy Daddy Dave's birthday party together, yeah", said Kinara.

Giovani smiled, and so did Ananta. Giovani asked a waitress to bring his food to the table.

"Oh yes, tonight there is someone I want to introduce you to, especially to my chatty sister" Giovani said as he enjoyed eating.

"Who?", asked Ananta curiously.

Kinara just silently listened to the conversation.

Before long, Giovani left his seat to greet the arrival of his old friend.

"Thank you so much that you have taken the time to come here" Giovani greeted with a hug.

"What's wrong. I'm glad to be here, long time no see. Oh yeah, where's your daddy? I want to congratulate him".

Giovani accompanied his old friend to meet daddy and mommy who were talking with several guest colleagues.

"Dad, my best friend came to congratulate you" Giovani said.

Daddy Dave's excuse us for a minute and meet Giovani's best friend. Daddy Dave received a happy birthday from him.

"Oh thank you so much. You came from far away here, it's a huge tribute to me and my family" Daddy Dave said.

"Watch up tonight, yeah", he added.

Giovani and his best friend nodded their heads.

"Bro, I'll introduce you to someone" Giovani asked.

"Hm...who?".

"Later, you see for yourself", Giovani embraces his best friend, taking him to the table where Kinara and Ananta are.

Kinara and Ananta are having a happy conversation when Giovani and his best friend come.

"Hi girls, this is the person I want to introduce you to" Giovani said.

Ananta and Kinara turned their heads together, and how surprised Kinara was when she recognized the man who had come with Giovani.

"Pha...Farhan", cry Kinara. He could hardly believe the figure of the man now standing before him.

"Kinara.", Farhan was no less surprised.

"Lho, do you know each other?", asked Giovani confusedly.

"Oh yes, Kinara my former college friend in Indonesia" replied Farhan who quickly mastered the situation.

"Well, the world is really narrow as it turns out. It's good that you know each other. Oh yes introduce, this is my sister, Ananta", Giovani introduced his sister who had just been stunned to see the good looks of Farhan.

Farhan reached out his hand and greeted Ananta, they introduced themselves.

Giovani called again the waiter to bring the dishes to their table.

"How are you?", asked Farhan looking at Kinara.

Kinara smiled faintly, "My news is good", replied Kinara shortly. Somehow there was a different debate in his heart when he could meet Farhan again.

"This is Han, the woman I've been telling you about all this time. Kinara Cyzarine, my sister's best friend" Giovani said.

Farhan smiled, he remembered his conversation with Giovani a while ago. Giovani was talking about a woman he liked in Paris. But he never mentioned his name to Farhan, he only said if there was a chance he would introduce the woman to Farhan and Farhan did not think that the woman Giovani meant was Kinara.

"What do you think?", asked Giovani without hesitation.

"Your choice is perfect", replied Farhan, his tail glancing at Kinara who chose silence.

"Sister Farhan, does brother already have a lover?", shoot Ananta without hesitation.

"Wow, how dare my little brother ask that question" exclaimed Giovani. Ananta doesn't care what his sister says.

"What's wrong with me finding out" Ananta said.

"So, does Kak Farhan already have a lover?", Ananta repeated his question again.

Farhan smiled, "What's the matter?", asked Farhan.

"If Kak Farhan is still single, I think brother is better suited to be my best friend's sidewalk, than he is with my annoying brother", Ananta pointed to embrace Kinara.

Kinara was stunned to hear Ananta's words, he elbowed Ananta a sign of disapproval.

Ananta chuckled, "What's wrong with Ra you learn to open your heart. I think Kak Farhan is much better than my brother", Ananta added.

"Ck, just as you speak. You should have supported me, I'm your brother", Giovani continued.

"It's precisely because Brother Gio is my brother that I don't want my best friend to be my sister-in-law" Ananta said.

Kinara and Farhan simply fell silent, they dissolved in their respective minds. The Debaran in Kinara's heart became more and more because of Ananta, as well as Farhan, but he was good at hiding his feelings.
