The train that Kinara boarded had arrived at Surabaya Kota Station, glimpsed by the watch in hand, at 08.00 am. Kinara immediately rushed down from the carriage and he looked for a place for breakfast first.
This morning he enjoyed a delicious bowl of raw rice. Finished with her breakfast, Kinara immediately took HP, looking for an online taxi app to go to her husband's apartment.
**
"Papa, can I play there?", pointed out Alya. Her small index finger leads to the balcony. There is a small garden equipped with a swing of rattan and flowers that are blooming.
Erlangga smiled, "May, but be careful. Avoid the balcony ledges".
Alya nodded quickly, cheerfully he immediately headed for the small garden that was on the balcony. Meanwhile, Viona had just finished cleaning their used breakfast bowl.
Erlangga sat sweetly on the sofa. His eyes were busy staring at the HP screen, hoping for a response from Kinara, but nothing.
"Weekend like this, you still have a job check, mas?", asked Viona, she placed two cups of warm sweet tea on the table.
Erlangga did not respond to Viona's question. Viona sat next to Erlangga, and occasionally paid attention to her ex-husband.
"Mas, can we go to the playground today? Alya must be happy if we can spend time with her" Viona said again after she sipped her warm sweet tea.
Erlangga sighed heavily, "Go, take Alya there".
Viona looked at Erlangga deeply, "Mas, isn't your heart moved just a little to be able to accept Alya's presence fully? I'm not asking you to take care of her, I just want this time you take a little time to perfect her happiness" Viona's words pierced.
Erlangga returned Viona's gaze sharply, "Listen to Vi, I accept Alya completely as my daughter, but that doesn't mean we can be together like family. Don't you think about how I feel and how my wife feels if she finds out about this?", Erlangga's voice intonation rises.
Viona took a deep breath, "If necessary, I'll tell her everything".
Viona's words sounded like a threat in Erlangga's ears. Erlangga pulled Viona's arm hard, making her complain in pain.
"Mas, loose. Pain, mas", Viona tried to release the clutches of Erlangga's burly hand from her right arm.
"Are you threatening me? look, don't even think of seeing my wife if you want Alya to stay happy!!!", Erlangga placed a strong emphasis on her words. He then let go of his grip violently.
Erlangga stood up, he did not want to talk much with Viona. But Viona quickly pulled Erlangga's hand.
"Mas, I didn't mean to talk like that to you, I.", not finished saying, Erlangga had already removed Viona's rough hand from her arm to make Viona pushed and she pulled the tip of Erlangga's shirt.
Viona fell on the sofa with Erlangga on top of her body. Their eyes clashed with each other.
"Surprise.".", suddenly there was a sound from the direction of the door that surprised Viona and Erlangga.
Kinara who had originally come with a sumringah was so shocked to see the scene before her eyes. The parcel he was carrying just fell out of his grasp.
Erlangga was very surprised by Kinara's sudden arrival, "Honey, you.", Erlangga had not finished talking, Kinara had already run out of her husband's apartment.
Erlangga immediately realized the wrong position of his body. He was still on Viona's body. Erlangga immediately stood up, he ran after his wife.
Tears had already welled up in Kinara's eyes. He did not expect that his arrival to Surabaya would be greeted with a view that cut his heart.
"Mama, where are you?", asked Alya who suddenly entered because she heard a small scream.
"Papa comes out for a while, here baby", asks Viona, she asks Alya to sit on her lap.
"We're not going for a walk?" asked Alya again.
"Mmm...if the streets are the same mama first, Alya want? later we go home to buy Alya's favorite ice cream and buy a doll too, yes", persuaded Viona. Alya just nodded happily.
"But papa didn't come with us ma.", his face turned sad.
"Other times we go together papa too. Now papa has business first, if we wait for sure long, later the playground will be closed you know", Viona is still trying to persuade her little daughter.
'You have the heart, mas', Viona's mind just before she shut the door of the apartment.
Meanwhile, Erlangga was still trying to catch up to Kinara. He saw his wife running in the lobby of the apartment.
"Kinara, wait!!", he exclaimed. But the scream was ignored by Kinara. His wife kept running, Erlangga could see Kinara's reddened eyes.
'She must be crying, she was wrong. I have to chase after him', Erlangga's feelings are raging.
Kinara stopped her steps in a park not far from her husband's apartment. He was looking for a bench in a place where there were not too many people.
'Why would you do that, Mom? I guess our separation all this time can still make you keep yourself', inner Kinara with tears that are increasingly flowing.
"Honey.", the voice of Erlangga disperse the solitude of Kinara. But Kinara didn't want to look at her husband.
"Honey, I. I can explain the matter earlier", Erlangga approached Kinara slowly.
Kinara was still crying, her shoulders were visibly trembling as it held back the sobbing that stifled her chest.
"Darling, you misunderstood what you just saw. Believe me, I can't possibly do anything that could hurt your heart", Erlangga was already sitting next to Kinara. He looked at Kinara who was sitting on her back.
"Please, stop crying. My heart aches to see you crying like this" Erlangga said again, hugging Kinara from behind.
Kinara was still sobbing, wanting to shake off the embrace, but somehow her little heart held her back.
"Darling.I beg you, forgive me. Talk to me", whispered Erlangga lirih.
Kinara tried to calm herself down, she felt a tight hug from the husband she so longed for.
"Mas, I came here to see you, gave you a surprise but I was surprised. Did we live apart and have a lot of fun with that woman?", asked Kinara. His voice trembled as it held back the cries and emotions within him.
"No dear. I've never been in contact with any woman here, including the woman you saw. The incident is not what you think it is", Erlangga replied gently.
Kinara let go of her husband's embrace. Now sitting opposite Erlangga, Kinara stared intently at her husband's guilty face.
"Then what did that mean? who her? it was easy that the woman was in your apartment and she.he.", Kinara could not continue her words, re-imagining the friendly scene she had seen between her husband and the foreign woman.
Erlangga held onto Kinara's two hands, "Honey, listen, I'll explain everything to you. The woman you saw, she's my ex-wife. He suddenly came to my apartment to meet me with our son first. I'm sorry I didn't tell you about this".
Kinara's eyes widened, he could not believe what he was hearing. Erlangga had been married before, even she had children and she did not tell Kinara.
"Why didn't you ever tell me anything about it, Dad? why are you saying?", Kinara's tears are dripping again.
Erlangga wiped away his wife's tears, "I'm sorry. I guess it's just my past that you shouldn't know. I want to live the rest of my life happily with you. What happened in the past is enough of a lesson to me. You, my future, the best love of my life right now", Erlangga explained with a deep and shady look.
"Then, why are you guys making out like that? do you still love her, mas?", asked Kinara a hiccup.
Erlangga hugged his wife's body tightly, "So we had a clash of mouth. What you see, it's pure coincidence because I encourage that woman not to touch me. But he pulled the end of my shirt until we lost balance and were in that position. Believe me baby, this time and forever, you're the only woman I love", Erlangga kissed gently the head of Kinara.
There was a sense of peace in Kinara's heart upon hearing the explanation from her husband. Although she remembered the incident well, Kinara chose to trust Erlangga.
"Is that really it?", asked Kinara, she raised her face to be able to look at Erlangga who was still tightly hugging her.
Erlangga smiled, "Of course. I wouldn't have possibly married you if I didn't love" Erlangga answered, redeveloping the smile on Kinara's lips.
"Don't cry anymore, yeah. Sorry, I made you shed tears because of my stupidity", whispered Erlangga lirih.
Kinara replied to her with a nod of her head and tightly hugged her husband.
