Episode 82

Jakarta, Indonesia. 02 Hours: 40 in the morning.

Steve and Dinda have now arrived in Jakarta. Steve drove Dinda home to her apartment.

This late night is very dangerous, Steve worries about Dinda if she doesn't drive him home.

"Thank you!" exclaim Dinda. "I'm going in first." Dinda closed Steve's car door, he left the parking lot.

"Don't forget to dream of me" said Steve to the latter.

Dinda nodded while throwing a warm smile at Steve.

Both are in the car park. Steve was wearing his black car, fortunately when he asked his brother to park his car in the airport parking lot.

Steve knew that the flight from Shanghai to Jakarta would arrive very late.

Dinda dragged her suitcase, into the apartment through the back lobby of the building.

And as usual, Steve only a few times to drive him up to the door of the apartment, it will be troublesome for Steve if deliver Dinda to the door of his apartment.

Inside her house, Dinda was very tired. The apartment lights are bright, usually Miko and Niko if sleeping always turn off the lights.

But that night, somehow all the lights came on. Dinda felt a bit confused, why didn't they turn it off.

Maybe forget, thought Dinda. Dinda glanced at the whole room, all the lights were on, none of them were turned off. Maybe only Dinda's apartment looks bright in this building, while other apartments look dark. And when Dinda opened her sisters' room, as Dinda thought, they were both asleep. Dinda shook her head to see those who forgot the habit of turning off the lights before going to bed.

Dinda closed the door, right in front of her sisters room, the ringing of the mobile phone that Dinda was holding vibrated.

From her phone screen, Dinda's mother contacted her in the middle of the night. For Dinda, it was the first time her mother made a phone call at night. Before, Dinda's mother had never called like this except in a precarious situation.

"Two nights like this, why'd you call?" What do Dinda think. "Think of it, it's been a long time since I've contacted you."

"Yes, hello, ma'am" answered Dinda picking up a phone call from her mother. "Why did you call this late?"

Hello, this is Miss Dinda, from the phone, not the voice of the mother speaking, but someone else.

Aye, right. With me, who is this? ask Dinda to know.

Sorry, we from Pertamina hospital, would like to inform you that Ms. Yuri is unconscious. Please come here soon. We need relatives or relatives who can take care of his needs while in the hospital.

All right, I will be there as soon as possible, replied Dinda in panic. He wants to go to his mother.

Listening to the news that was suddenly like this, Dinda was instantly in a deep shock. Long time no contact mother, know-how to get bad news! Dinda slightly held back her tears in order not to fall in this kind of situation.

His mind was already muddled because it was shadowed by the face of the mother.

Quickly Dinda woke up her sisters who were sleeping fast, Dinda wanted to invite the two to meet the Mother.

"Niko, Miko," Dinda forces her sister to wake up. "Niko, Miko, let's get up. Get up quickly, mom goes to the hospital," said Dinda panicked.

"What the hell, brother!" Niko blinked, she forced herself to wake up while rubbing her clinging eyes. "Disturb sleep!" gerutu.

"Wake up, I'm in the hospital!" dinda once again. "Let's get up, Niko, Miko!" Dinda hit her sisters slowly to wake up.

"What's? The hospital!" Niko instantly became aware. "Who's in the hospital? When did you get home?"

"Have forgotten when you get home, the most important thing is that you have to go home to see your mother. Mom is in the hospital!" dinda said stiffened.

"Mom's in the hospital!" Niko. "When brother? Where's mom now?" Niko panicked.

"Have, don't talk about anything else, the most important thing is that we have to go home. I need us now" said Dinda.

"But as Niko recalls, the mother has no history of deh's disease" Niko denied. "Maybe you heard wrong probably. Or it could be, it's a misaligned number," with a half-conscious face, Niko tried to make sense of the situation.

"No," Dinda argued. "This is really the number of the mother who called, but who spoke to the hospital. Anyway, we now have to go back to Bandar Lampung City right now," Dinda ordered.

"OK, Niko get ready, brother," answered Niko deftly.

"Wake up, sister Miko, we have to hurry. There was a final crossing tonight," said Dinda, leaving to hurry and get ready.

"Why not get on a plane?" Advice Niko. "Can be more efficient."

"Night's flight doesn't serve until two in the morning, there are only ships still operating at this hour" Dinda packed her clothes, explaining to Niko.

Niko, who is waking up Miko, has to work hard. Because her brother is very difficult to compromise at this hour.

Lucky for Niko, because Miko didn't ask too much why she woke up. Miko didn't ask, just held back the drowsiness.

Even along the road they were on, Miko stayed asleep. Now the three of them were boarding a ship, Dinda was very panicked considering the mother.

The cruise takes up to more than three hours. Dinda and her two younger siblings had arrived in the town of Bandar Lampung at seven in the morning.

Luckily in this hospital, the hospital employees are responsible. They are waiting for Dinda to arrive.

"Mother" cried Dinda as she hugged her mother. "Mom why is this?" Dinda sobbed in tears.

Miko and Niko, who are stalking Dinda, follow her to hug the mother who is lying in the ward of the first class A hospital.

Dinda's mother, who looked conscious but weak, was happy this morning to see her three children back.

"Don't ask where Dinda knows you're in the hospital, the most important thing is that you're okay, right? Tell me why you can be like this" Dinda worries about her mother.

The doctor, who was treating the mother, went into the room and explained about her condition.

"Mrs Yuri only suffered a broken leg and the bones in her joints shifted. So it took a few days for Mrs Yuri to recover, given that this fracture was a bit serious" he said.

"But there's no need for an operation, right doc?" Dinda.

"No need" replied the doctor. "I've handled it. No need for surgery or amputation. Only fractures, although dangerous, the level of risk of foot rot is far above average. To walk, Yuri's mother must be assisted by a cane or wheelchair. A little trouble for patients who have had this kind of accident," the doctor detailed the story.

"Oh, that's it doc," Dinda was relieved. "Thank God, I thought I'd be in surgery everything like on TV."

"No need" the doctor laughed. "What is shown on tv is too dramatic, only minor injuries do not have to be all surgery," the middle-aged doctor boasted in the middle of the current situation. "Then I'd better get out. Please complete the administrative costs. And Mrs Diah is scheduled to be discharged from the hospital by two weeks at the latest" the doctor told Reuters.

Dinda nodded. He understands hospital policy.

The legs of Dinda's mother, bandaged with cardboard and wrapped in white gauze, are very sad. At his old age, he had to get into an accident that was said to be quite fatal.

Even with her head alone on the bandage, Dinda surmised that her mother was not careful.

"Mom why is it like this?" ask Dinda. "Mother if you can not do anything, mendingan follow Dinda to Jakarta. Dinda's moving house soon."

Madam Yuri held Dinda's hand and rubbed her daughter's back. He nodded with a smile as Dinda said so.

"Would you really want to live in Jakarta?" Dinda.

His mother nodded once more, she agreed to Dinda's words.

"Then, after you get out of the hospital later, we will pack and continue to move to a new house. Dinda's going to sell Dinda's narrow apartment. We bought a new house in the middle of town. The house is nice, Dinda likes it because it is located in a flood-free complex" explained Dinda.

"Yes Ma'am" said Niko. "So we don't have to bother thinking about the mother who is across the island."

Seeing that his two sons had grown up, Yuri's mother stroked the handsome faces of Miko and Niko. "Mom's twins are getting older."

"If we don't grow up, then who will educate us to mature Ma'am" Miko said. He was standing next to Niko.

"You are the most understanding sons of the mother" praised Madam Yuri.

"Eat it, you need to get well quickly. And we leave this city, moving to Jakarta is better than being alone!" Miko is smart-ass.

His mother was just a mangosteen, his children continued to nag him and urged him to leave their homeland.

Madam Yuri who kept holding Dinda's hand, now looked at her.

"Dinda," call Mrs Yuri. "Actually my father's orphanage has been sold."

"Dinda knows Mom!" answer Dinda.

"It's good that you already know," said Mrs Yuri relieved. "Mother now doesn't need to feel guilty anymore for abandoning the children."

Dinda rubbed her mother's hand. "Mom doesn't have to be guilty. I've done my best by taking care of the orphanage's children" Dinda. "Then what about them? Did other orphanages adopt them?"

"Some of the orphanage children have been relocated to state-owned orphanages. The land occupied by the building has been taken over by the local bank. The government urged that the mother release the children in order to stay in the government home," Mrs Yuri told reporters. "In the future, maybe we'll miss those kids."

Dinda rubbed the face of the mother who looked older. "Mom don't have to worry" Dinda calmed down. "As long as the government people don't file a lawsuit because the mother is holding the orphanage child, Dinda feels relieved."

"Thank you, son. Thank you for understanding this matter," Madam Yuri's face was very sad, but she tried hard. "Then the burden of mother has been liberated. And you can calmly get together with your son and daughter."

"Yes Mom. After leaving the hospital, I no longer have to stay here. There are no relatives here, so there is nothing that can hold the mother to leave" said Dinda reconcile the complaint. "By the way, why did you get to be like this?" Dinda curious.

Madam Yuri took a deep breath. "Actually, last night I accidentally slipped on the stairs" Ms. Yuri recalled. "Because it was raining last night, I forgot to put the clothesline outside. Because there was no puddle of water on the stairs, finally slippery mother's slippers made the mother's legs slip," he explained. "But don't worry, I'm fine."

Dinda shakes. "Mom's habit, always careless," Dinda hugged her mother again.

"By the way, our house has been sold. Along with the land of the home that the local bank pulled," Mrs Yuri switched. "Your childhood home belongs to someone else now."

"Mom don't think about it" said Miko. "With the sale of the house, so the mother has no reason to refrain from living in Jakarta!" Miko smart ass.

"That's Ma'am, what did Miko's sister say!" Niko seru. "So you don't have to bother doing anything, right now there is Niko and Miko's sister who can take care of you."

Mother Yuri smiled warmly. "Mom's proud of you guys who've grown up."

Madam Yuri stroked the faces of her two sons. He was so happy that his son could see him.

"Mom's eaten yet?" Dinda interrupted.

"Not yet" replied Madam Yuri. "Mom's hard to move, where maybe you can eat."

"Yes already then, Dinda should find food first for breakfast Mom. I'm hungry now" Dinda took the initiative.

Dinda wants to buy food outside, but Miko suddenly stops her. "Let Miko alone brother," sambar Miko. "Son, just wait here, Miko's going to find food for you."

Miko insisted, she took the initiative to replace her brother went to buy food.
