REMEMBERED
People say that losing the most loved one is almost the same as a body without a soul. In another sense, life feels empty and empty. Anything that wants to be done daily, now turned into lethargic and lazy to do. Because our minds are always imagined by our loved ones, even though the soul and body are no longer on our side. Perhaps, the person we love the most is one form of spirit in itself.
Dinda remembers, Steve once said that he and himself were like one soul in two bodies. They complement each other, strengthen each other when weak, and remind each other when forgotten.
Steve also said that he and Dinda do not want to be called me and you. Where it is feels a bit ambiguous. The point where Steve feels awkward if he calls his girl your greeting. Steve preferred to be called KITA, when he was with Dinda. The call made him feel that the happiness he had was more perfect. Where, he and Dinda, would build a beautiful little family. Hanging the decorated frame of the little faces of his son and daughter. The smile was glistening, making the little family that Steve craved more warm.
Their days were very pleasant, when they woke up there was the sound of their child breaking the atmosphere of the morning. Steve dreamed, when his son cried, then he was ready to become a competent father. Oh, really, Steve's words make Dinda miss the warmth of the bad guy.
Honestly, Dinda admitted it very clearly. He is not a romantic man, who can be likened to a man who at any time seduces any woman. He's a different guy, where the things he does are unexpected.
The man who went to take Dinda's whole soul, every day making the girl keep thinking about how she is currently in Germany.
Dinda just got home from work. Because of the extra work, he came home a little late until nine o'clock. Well, during his work, he also did not concentrate because his mind was still being shadowed by the face of the man who was difficult to forget. When she finished work, Dinda was brought home by Zico.
Zico was also overtime, so thought he was going to drive Dinda home. Zico remembers, Steve once told him to take care of his woman when she was not around. Zico's in charge, now he's fulfilled all of Steve's requests.
Even the girl was a fierce man who had been delivered to the front gate of his house. He did not want that man—Steve scolded him for abandoning his lover who drove him crazy in love. Indeed, Zico did not dare to face Steve who was much more chatty than the Market Mothers, the gossip Moms, and the Arisan Mothers.
"Thank you Co. for driving me home" Dinda said, waving her hand at the man.
Zico replies with a car horn, then a moment later he passes from Dinda's house. Actually, Zico keeps his distance from Dinda. Which man will stand to see Dinda's beauty and her kindness.
Although Zico thinks, he is no less handsome with three sneaks trying to get Dinda, but he does not dare to betray his own best friend, Steve. The man had already monopolized Dinda, where Zico dared to act against other people's girls.
Although, actually the road to get Dinda is wide open. But Zico is not that kind of man, the man who takes advantage of opportunities in the midst of others is down.
Ah, anyway Zico almost crazy if you keep thinking about other people's lovers. Even all this time it feels to Steve's lover is neutral. I swear, Zico wants to stop looking after Dinda. He is not strong enough to resist the temptation when he has to entangle the love of Dinda. The seeds of love will appear as the comfort comes.
"Dinda's home, Mom." Dinda opened the door handle, which led straight to the living room. There his two sisters and also the mother look relaxed sitting watching TV. His two sisters, actually busy playing each other's devices, so they only accompany the mother.
"Tumben's coming home tonight?" said Mother into pleasantries.
"There's an extra job, ma'am," Dinda replied as she spread her butt on the couch. Right next to the mother, the limp body asked in the mother's donkey.
"Not that weak? Did you eat that, right?" this time I noticed. He wiped the messy hair of his daughter.
In the lap of the Mother, Dinda enjoys the soft hands that massage her head to relax her mind from the tired work. "Have eaten Mom. Just don't know why, Dinda's legs were shaking. Maybe Dinda's hungry again, like."
"Sister Dinda is not hungry, but still mind Steve," said Niko while cool with gaming.
"Ulus. Brother is still mourning, you even menggeledek," said Mother Yuri mediate Niko's words.
Yuri's mother rubbed her daughter's shoulder, hoping that her sister's words would not make her more sad. She knew her daughter was tough on the outside, fragile on the inside.
"Have you eaten yet?" tanya Dinda turned to another word.
"It's already brother. I cooked my sister's favorite food," said Miko first.
"Why? Mother's daughter is hungry?" mother Yuri asked Dinda for attention.
Dinda shakes. "No, ma'am. Just a doang. You're afraid you haven't eaten because you're waiting for Dinda."
"Ooh.... If Dinda wants to eat, I'll get ready. Wanna?" tawar Ibu Yuri's. He could not bear to see his only daughter had to fall like this because of thinking about Steve.
"No ma'am" replied Dinda quickly. "Dinda is still full. Dinda's gonna lay down for a second."
"Yes already. If you want to eat, everything in the kitchen has been prepared," said Ibu Yuri.
On the table there are many snacks, although many, Dinda lazy to touch it. Actually the snack was made by the mother who fad in free time. Moreover, Dinda must think it feels good, really she wants to taste it.
However, Dinda was like there was no power. Never touch it, see the food on the table Dinda was reluctant. Every now and then Dinda's hand idly picks up the TV remote, moving the television channel randomly. Unravel the Atik of the TV plane, looking for a channel that does not even know what Dinda wants to watch.
Dinda was really bored, until Ibu Yuri who was busy watching her favorite drama just relented. Understandably, his daughter was actually getting a bit depressed.
"Oh, yes. I got a gift from whom this afternoon. I don't know you" Ibu Yuri said.
Dinda looked up, looking at the mother's face from her lap. "The gift of who Ma'am!" ask Dinda curious.
"Mom doesn't understand either. When I came out, the gift was at the door. There's a bouquet of flowers just like that letter. Hold on, I'll get it." Yuri's mother moved to pick up what she found earlier this afternoon.
Not long after, she returned with a pink gift and bouquet of flowers. "Nih the card."
"Open it yourself" Mother Yuri said.
Dinda who was curious, immediately opened the gift in the beautiful wrap. Followed by his two brothers who are curious to know what the contents are.
"Wedding clothes?" said Dinda after seeing the contents. She remembered where she had seen that beautiful white dress. Not long after Dinda saw the dress, Dinda shed her tears. "This is a wedding dress that almost a month ago Steve and I designed at the boutique."
Dinda was crying. Memories are indeed difficult to forget, let alone the wedding dress that has been designed, even Steve himself who ordered it. Really, Dinda can't just forget these memories.
"You're patient, son," Mother Yuri said calmly. "You just pray. I hope Steve is okay. And can return to Indonesia immediately. You are strong, this is not all your will. But fate has said something else."
Dinda wipes away her tears. He's trying hard, but what's the power. Her mother and sister knew she wasn't that strong. Dinda needs a shoulder as a place to hold her tears and sadness.
Niko glanced at her brother, Miko. He thought differently in response to the grief of their older sister. "Do we need to dress up like Steve so that Dinda's sister does not cry anymore?" Niko took the initiative to voice her silly idea to Miko.
And, well. Instead of the idea will be appreciated by Miko, Niko's head becomes an easy target Miko. THE PLAQUE!! Miko hits him hard, she wants to make Niko aware that this is not the time to joke.
"Loh, why was Niko's head hit anyway? What's Niko's fault?" niko asked Miko.
"People are sad, even made into guyonan material."
"I didn't mean it!" niko beaver toilet. "I only want to comfort Dinda. It's not about dressing up like a real Steve's brother."
"Hey, hey. You two are fighting." Yuri's mother tries to mediate the small noise of her two overactive sons. They knew no place and were always fighting small.
"Sister Miko Bu who started first," sambar Niko complained first. "I'm just giving advice so I can cheer up Dinda's sister. But Miko's sister hit me."
"Huh, she's annoying," Miko muttered softly. Actually, Miko did not intentionally do it, she intended to hit slowly. Who would have thought, that blow ended up being a hard blow. Miko knows the direction Niko says, asking her to dress up like Steve. Because she said her face and Steve's face were a bit similar, and Miko also knew, her face would end up on make-up.
Instead of being Steve, his brother would screw up. It even looks like a clown when Niko is dating. Uh, Miko secretly grumbled.
"Dinda get into the room first, Mom." Dinda said, she wanted to let go of her crying behind a pillow.
"Are you okay, son?" ask Mother Yuri worried. She was afraid, her daughter did strange things unexpectedly later in the room.
"She's okay, Mom. I don't have to worry about Dinda" she replied believing in her.
Dinda moved to leave the three of them, his mother tried to calm Dinda so as not to continue to grieve thinking about Steve. But—usaha. Dinda went to the room, carrying tears and the parcel her mother gave her earlier.
In the room, Dinda threw the gift on the bed. Like a madman, Dinda opened her closet door violently. He was looking for—Oh, he reached for one blue suit hanging in his closet.
The blue suit with the smell of this Steve, Dinda hugged while crying. Dinda remembers, the man once said that Dinda missed him, just hugged the suit, so she felt that Steve was by his side. The blue suit that Steve gave me that night was raining heavily, occasionally Dinda inhaled the aroma of a deep fragrance.
"Why you haven't heard so far. Have you forgotten me?" said Dinda quietly as she stared at the blue suit.
Perhaps her tears had come out in vain. Just for the sake of crying over that man.
As he stared deeply at the blue suit, he glanced at the bouquet of flowers inside which was tucked into a piece of light blue-covered paper.
TO DINDA FROM GERMANY when the writing in front of the cover was read, he remembered Steve. Like there was something inside, the cover of the letter was opened quickly. Dinda read it slowly, while holding Isak in tears.
I know you're waiting for me. Basically, maybe I can't go back. Here, the chances of my hope of recovery are very small.
With the letter I sent all the way from Germany. I hope you can know that I'm not here well.
I know you're currently crying reading a letter from me, but— those tears can't change anything—that we'll be apart for all eternity.
Just so you know, I just wanted to say our final farewell through this letter. Hopefully, in the future you can find a man who is much better than me. The one you love the most, STEVE.
At the end of the letter was marked, STEVE. The first feeling that Dinda felt was tightness in the chest. "Can't it be that he wrote this letter?"
Inner Dinda worried. The letter was actually from Germany. Unsure, Dinda tries to call Stevie, but dear. From the past month to the present, the phone remained the woman was never active. He's hard to call.
Dinda felt increasingly weak, at the end of her bed, Dinda sat dumbstruck. Crying without sound and tears. "If you want to say separate, at least you contacted me once. Not parting like this. How hard I tried to forget you, it was so hard for me."
Even if he complains, it's free. The writing is clearly from Germany. And even though Dinda was worried, but that was the reality she had just received. Steve gave a letter containing something he had never expected before.
Maybe this is the end of her love story.
