This doesn't count as a date for Dinda. But Dinda considers this as a formal meal accompanying her boss.
From morning until night, Steve would bring Dinda to public places. Maybe let go of tired because in the deadline hunt, so felt by Dinda.
Tired, but not to argue, that was the position faced by poor Dinda. At least the agreement paper made Dinda stuck in Steve's confinement. Not cruel, but more on accountability for the events of that night.
Tonight Steve took Dinda somewhere. After visiting several recreational places such as amusement parks, extreme rides, to go to the beach they visit since morning. Alakadarnya, because there are no plans to visit these places.
Previously, Dinda asked where Steve would take himself to after a day of accompanying the man to several public places such as accompanying small children to the streets. However, Steve did not answer Dinda's question, instead he held Dinda's arm tightly, his face was so serious and focused on stepping somewhere.
At first Dinda did not know where the man was going to take her, but now she understood where they were going.
Both are in very high places. Tall, more precisely at this time they have the roof of a very high building. About six hundred meters high, because of all the buildings they saw from above, only this building, the building they were erecting was the tallest.
Dinda saw the twinkling beauty of the night of Jakarta from a view so wide and high. The lights highlighted brightly and the noise of the vehicle was clearly heard. The sound of car sirens everywhere.
"Wow...." The words came out of Dinda's mouth as Steve took her to a place she had never felt before. It was as if Dinda was on top of Mount Everest watching the scenery below.
The atmosphere is simple, just accompanied by the busy city landscape by a bushy vehicle passing underneath. However, the sensation seems to be on vacation in New York City. Occasionally the fresh air of the night hit them so that their clothes fluttered in disarray.
Dinda held and rubbed her shoulders, a sign that she was a little cold. Steve saw his woman feel what she felt. Cold, both of Steve's hands felt that his pulse seemed to freeze in the air that was no more than half the air in Russia. Snow air to minus degrees Celsius. But this is Jakarta, a city hot during the day and cold at night, like living in a desert area.
Steve, this unromantic guy understands that Dinda needs a warm-up. Steve was wearing thick clothes, because he had been used to wearing such clothes since childhood, as a result his skin was very white, fur-free.
He removed his great parlente, then used it for Dinda. On Dinda's shoulder, Steve's chocolate parlente was comfortably worn.
"The weather tonight is very cold, you must not be strong to feel it" said Steve whispering in Dinda's ear.
"No need to bother Sir. I'm comfortable with this weather." Dinda refused with subtle Steve's intention. At least Dinda tried to be realistic instead of dramatizing.
But Steve is not his name if rejected by the dinda and give up just like that. He keeps doing what he wants to do. "Don't refuse it, or your sustenance will be reduced by twenty percent." Steve whispered back full of temptation.
Dinda was not surprised, because she knew that Steve would do it. His words seemed to be in negotiation.
In this place, Steve's mood looks like he's not so excited and not in a good atmosphere anyway. Dinda doesn't know why? But surely Dinda saw that Steve was thinking about something. Sendu, that's what matches his facial expression.
After putting on his warm parliament and holding Dinda's shoulder, Steve headed straight to the corner of the building. More precisely he leaned his elbow on the glass wall of the roof of the building. He behaved strangely, but rationally and realistically in front of Dinda.
Unlike usual, that was what Dinda felt. Usually Steve acted as he wished even this morning he felt that the man was being warmly behaving.
But now that he's changed back to what he used to be, Steve is expressionless. Dinda's heart was torn to wonder why the man looked a little moody.
He approached Steve, hoping that Steve would tell him what his mood was.
Dinda hesitated a little, but she was determined to do it. "Sir Steve. Is your father having a problem?" Dinda asked opening the conversation.
Dinda tries to understand Steve even though the man sometimes makes him upset.
Steve was speechless, his sharp eyes glancing towards Dinda who was already standing on his right side.
But before long, he returned to focus on the gaze ahead looking at the beautiful night of Jakarta.
"Do you know what I'm going to bring you here for?" Steve's mouth began to speak.
"No!" Dinda did not know.
"What's wrong with this place, sir?" Dinda continued to talk while asking.
Steve took a deep breath. He seemed to want to take the intro before speaking. "Actually, this place is my secret place. A place for me as an escape when I'm in a difficult situation. But, today, right tonight, you at least know this secret place indirectly."
"Confidential?" Said Dinda did not understand.
"Yes. Secrets.... The secret that I'm here a lot when I'm in a tough time." Steve tried to explain.
The night wind howled loudly, wagging his second hair.
Dinda was stunned for a moment, her heart wondering what Steve meant. "Maybe, you're nostalgic here?" Dinda tried to guess the situation.
Steve smiled as he looked at Dinda's face. "More than that."
"Actually, there is so much that cannot be understood about this world. Brutal and competitive, maybe everything will happen in our lives. But I just want to tell you something." Added Steve.
"One thing?"
Steve began to talk a little relaxed and occasionally he showed a warm expression to Dinda.
"Yes.... Something I might not be able to hold back on anymore." Steve Reveals.
Dinda did not understand Steve's words that seemed strange. He did not want to pretend to be stupid just for the sake of understanding this situation.
Steve approached Dinda slowly. The woman standing by his side seemed to be calm in confusion. Steve looked into his eyes and held both shoulders tightly. Steve started talking seriously. "Minda. I know this may sound strange, but I want to say it clearly. Be my lover."
Steve ventured to speak directly to the point.
"Ke-ka-sih...." Dinda repeated Steve's words as if he did not believe what he heard.
"Yes became my lover. I know it's a rush, but I've said it three times. Even you yourself have heard it but have not given an answer at all." Steve responded quickly.
Dinda's pupils twitched and twitched because she could not see Steve's face mixed into one expression.
Dinda bit on her soft lower lip. He began to doubt the words. "Does this include something in applying?" Ask Dinda to make sure.
Steve widened his eyes, as the remark was a little funny yet strange. Speech that seemed to lure him to do something wider.
Steve was confused, obviously. Dinda understood that she was talking strangely when clearly she already knew the answer. In a speech error, Dinda tried to improve his speech atmosphere.
"No.... I mean, are we on a real date today," Dinda said.
Steve nodded, he smiled a little kindly then both hands that were previously on the shoulder, now touched the part of Dinda's face. He looked up at Dinda's face to look at her. Understandably, Steve's tall body might make Dinda feel pain in the neck if doing so.
"Be my lover and I promise to protect you far more than myself." Steve said back to fighting.
"But, proposing to someone like this..... I feel less romantic." Dinda rebukes steve.
"Yes too. Why didn't I think about this earlier. I should have prepared a romantic place before I did. Akh..... Damnit..... I'm sloppy. I'm a lousy, less romantic guy." Steve murmured in his heart.
Hearing Dinda's words earlier, Steve felt ashamed. At least it is true, but it has already been said. I don't want Steve to continue what he said.
"You think so..... But in my opinion, this...... Much more romantic than others. Though I've never been a love slave in my entire life." Steve spoke what he thought in his mind at the time. It was like a meteor orbiting the earth. Clear, because it does not think first what to say.
"You know, even Eskabunadzer, the founder of the hanging gardens in Babylon thousands of years ago, proposed to his wife not to be romantic. Maybe I'm the Eskabunadzer in the modern world who's not as romantic as Shakespeare. Because loving each other is the main point in a relationship." continued Steve talk pretently justify what he did. He acknowledged it and had a great alibi by scapegoating the Babylonian king.
"But Sir....." Dinda wanted to give up, but Steve immediately grabbed Dinda's words.
"I say this, on top of this building, all because I don't want to imitate another couple. And I felt that this place was the most suitable to repeat my feelings. So, please be my lover."
Dinda was untouchable, as it took time to answer. It is a matter of the heart, so he must act according to what his heart wants.
"Can you consider me?" Steve was impatient. He needs a definite answer.
Dinda confused what to say? Steve spoke suddenly. He knew Steve said it three times, but somehow his heart was still worried. "Actually...... I'm...."
"Don't answer now. I know you need time to answer. As a simulation, how from tomorrow I will be friendly and open to you. Do you agree." Steve tries to win Dinda's heart.
Dinda held tightly to his collar. He thought a little about Steve's words, although a little confused for him to give an answer. "I....... I can't be sure. But I'll try as I can."
"Why should I try? Didn't try any better. I forced." Steve is hedonistic.
Dinda took a deep breath. He knew that Steve was the ambitious type of man. "All right...... I'll try to try."
"What effort?"
"trying...... I'm trying...." I don't know why Dinda was so nervous to answer. Steve is good at making himself dead so he can't say anything.
"Look at my eyes. And try to love this cruel me." Steve said.
"I can't be sure, but trying to love someone maybe I can do it any way I can."
Steve smiled with satisfaction when he heard that. At least he will do his best when there is hope on Dinda's confused face. Conquer, maybe Dinda is now starting to realize her sincerity.
"May I hug as a sign that I really like you." Steve asks.
"I.... Haven't...."
Dinda's words were not finished yet, but Steve had already pulled Dinda into his arms.
"You're not ready for all this yet" Steve said.
Dinda knew Steve would know what he was thinking.
Dinda tried to rebel a little and wanted to get out of the embrace, but Steve just more eager to embrace it.
"Please stay in my arms and feel my warmth."
Dinda said nothing but silence. Dinda began to feel the warmth of a man so perfect in her eyes. Dinda drowned in Steve's arms, especially the aroma of his body is alluring and makes Dinda poultice at the smell of such an elegant fragrance.
Steve stroked Dinda's soft hair. Comfortable, that's what Steve feels especially this is what he wants.
"I really like you, please consider my words. And give me a satisfactory answer tomorrow." Whisper Steve once again to Dinda.
Dinda did not promise, but she wanted to think about this carefully.
In Steve's arms, Dinda enjoyed it. Steve's heartbeat he felt. Just like how he felt, his heart was racing. It's twice as fast and hunting.
"He is different from other men. He likes to act as he pleases, but he never acts coercively even he likes to act rudely but he is also sometimes gentle." He started thinking about Steve.
I don't know how much longer Dinda tried not to feel the meaning of love, but Steve came into his life and shook his little heart of love. After four years of feeling empty, a color came to fill the organ.
Dinda rages in worry.
Had he not met the poor man in the garden just after the rain had fallen, it was possible that the current Dinda would not have felt what love meant. But Dinda can't avoid this. He knew that the storm of drama would soon hit either way, but Dinda had already started following the plot.
