Seoul, South Korea.
After three days of Steve living in Shanghai, Steve took Dinda on vacation to Korea.
This holiday was his first for Steve. Just like Steve felt, this is the first time Dinda set foot in the courtyard of the wide Seoul city road. Dinda also enjoyed her first holiday in Korea.
"Steve," Dinda called him. "Why do you want to go to Korea?"
"Nothing special" replied Steve.
"Why?"
"Just want a vacation" Steve admitted. "Actually, because the flight from Shanghai to Seoul is quite close, why don't we just vacation here" said Steve. "At one time the four islands were surpassed."
"Two islands!" Dinda shrunk. "Since when has it changed to four islands?"
"Yes, that's what it means" Steve replied.
"Oh, so, since it's close yeah," Dinda scratched her chin. "I think because you have a special reason."
Steve lowered his neck. "Actually, I overheard a female employee talk a few years ago" Steve said. "They said that if all women want a vacation in Korea. Meet idols and take photos in some unique places in Korea."
"So you're now turning into an eavesdropper" Dinda laughed. "Since when?"
"Hey, I never said that I was an eavesdropper tofu," replied Steve sewot.
"Don't be angry, I'm just kidding, '" Dinda teased.
Steve could never be angry with Dinda. He stopped the sewot, the girl always made him weak. "I'm not angry, just a little pampered," said Steve funny.
Dinda blushes her lips, she likes Steve who always wants to make her angry.
Actually the idea of a vacation to Korea was inspired by the conversation Dinda and Eva some time ago when they gossiped. At that time Steve did not really know Dinda, but after dating, the idea of this holiday just crossed Steve's brain.
Steve who accidentally heard it secretly wanted to go to Korea. Moreover, Dinda at that time did not pay too much attention to Eva's plan, so Steve took the initiative to travel to this ginseng country.
They are both on the road around Gangnam district. Traffic was heavy with pedestrians, and Steve wanted to invite Dinda to visit historical places in Korea.
"You want to wear a hanbok?" Steve offered. They passed by a shophouse that rents traditional Korean clothes.
"Make what?"
"I see on the Korean website that a vacation here must and must use hanbok" Steve explained. "Pull wearing it?"
"I don't think it's necessary" refused Dinda. "We're looking for another vacation spot, I'm less used to using a Handbook like that" said Dinda.
Steve pulls Dinda's nose. "Hanbok, not a handbook," Steve confirmed Dinda's incorrect spelling. "You think we're in a meeting, use the name of every handbook."
"Yes, hanbok," Dinda admitted her mistake. "I'm not Korean, so it's natural to call it wrong" Dinda grumbled.
On the street of Gangnam district, Steve began to feel his stomach start asking for parts. Moreover, the smell of food typical of the local area slurps in the nose.
The delicious aroma of cooking made Steve interested to enter the store along the way with gray paping.
"Are you hungry?" ask Steve.
"Very hungry" nodded Dinda.
Steve looked at the watch in his hand, seen at nine o'clock, breakfast. It was only fitting that his stomach was already curled up wanting to ask for a part.
"How about we eat ramen?" Steve voiced his idea.
Dinda shakes. "In Gangnam it is difficult to find a delicious meal, how about we go to Myeongdong. There is the largest and most complete shopping center and street food in Seoul," said Dinda.
"Where do you know meow! What was that meow?"
"Myeongdong," Dinda confirmed.
"Yes, that" Steve said.
"Obviously, I'll see it on the internet" Dinda showed Steve her phone with a smiling face.
Steve blinks his lips. "I think you understand Korea" he said.
"Hehehehe," Dinda chuckled. "With the modern era, do not know a little about Korea from the internet," Dinda informed. "Go to Myeongdong now or want to eat in Gangnam?" Dinda.
Steve thought for a moment, Myeongdong made Steve imagine that the place must be unique. "All right, we're there now" Steve agreed to Dinda's invitation.
They chose to leave the Gangnam district and head to the largest street food center in Korea. Myeongdong, the name alone is unique, surely the place is crowded.
Until they reached the road around the center of Myeongdong, they were confused to choose what they would choose.
The sound, aroma and even the shape of the food that is rented is very much and complete. As Dinda said, this place is very crowded by visitors.
"Do you want to eat tteokbokki or kimbap?" this time Dinda was Steve's guide.
"What kind of food is that?" ask Steve. "I've never heard of it" Steve's face was very serious.
He furrowed his brows, without hearing it before, Steve was confused.
Dinda laughed at the serious-faced Steve. "You're funny" said Dinda, holding back a laugh.
"Funny? Is there something wrong with me?"
"You're not wrong, only your handsome face always scares people" Dinda explained. "The time in the situation did not understand anything, your face looks like anger. Fortunately you are handsome, or if you have an ugly face, it may contrast with your angry attitude" Dinda mocked.
"But you like it, right?" Instead of being angry, Steve seduced Dinda. "Let's say, you must like me this handsome."
Dinda grew increasingly open to hearing Steve who was narcissistic. "If I don't like you, then maybe we'll date" Dinda slid her tongue out at Steve.
"Forget it when we're joking" Steve switched. "Let's eat Toboki and what it was, gimbal. I don't understand what kind of food it is."
"Tteokbokki and kimbap" Dinda said. "You are perfect in everything, it can turn out to be wrong as well" Dinda chuckled back. "I don't think that Mr. Angry has his friendly side, too," Dinda said.
Seeing Dinda constantly mocking him, Steve turned Dinda's body and pushed her into the Myeongdong building complex.
"We look for food first, you will get sucked back when you are full," said Steve as he led Dinda down the path in the Myeongdong market.
The number of sellers around Myeongdong, which previously made Steve confused about which food to eat, now get an interesting idea.
He invited Dinda to taste all the typical Korean food served in Myeongdong street food.
"As an opener, let's eat a cheesecake first," Steve pointed to the first tavern that caught his eye.
"That's too sweet, your blood sugar will rise" Dinda said.
Steve. "You think I'm an old man with a lot of disease."
Steve pursed his lips.
"Okay, let's eat cheesecake first as this lunch opener, let's try," Dinda relented. "For your sake!"
A Korean roadside food strip, Steve and Dinda have tasted at least five Korean specialties.
Tteokbokki, Kimbab, Cheesecake, Gyeran ppang, Bbopgi, Bungeoppang, Jipangyi, Eomuk Kkochi and Ice cream wafle.
They taste Korean food until late at night. Until both stomachs feel full.
Travelling around the entire place in Myeongdong until late at night makes the holiday atmosphere both look different.
At night, the Myeongdong complex is getting crowded with many visitors filling this place.
Dance street to entertainment here are all presented. Steve invites Dinda to take care of all the items sold in this place.
And the price is amazing, everything sold in Myeongdong is different from anywhere else. Everything is sold above average.
Until Steve's intention to buy Dinda a trinkets is not implemented because the price offered is very expensive.
Steve and Dinda stop at a booth selling full bandanas.
The crowded place is filled by many teenage boys and girls. They are not ashamed to buy their respective pair of cute bandanas.
Teens who were wearing school uniforms wore various bandanas and then took a swapoto.
Dinda was interested to see the crowd in this bandana shop. "Let's stop by there," Dinda asked.
"No way," Steve refused. Moreover, he saw a lot of teenagers who buy bandanas. Steve was feeling uncomfortable.
"Come on," Dinda whined. "I want to buy bandanas, they're cute, beautiful and characterful," Dinda welds and heats up Steve's arm. "Come, I want to buy a bandana as memories after going to Korea."
"No way," Steve let go of Dinda's hardened hand in his hand. "I'm worried about those kids."
"It's okay, forget them, we keep buying bandanas!" Dinda was nice.
"No way" Steve refused. "Once upon a time, no. Don't be like a kid, buying a bandana doesn't matter."
Steve looked at her pushyly, he did not like the childish Dinda. "We just leave here, don't buy such insignificant items," Steve said.
Furious back at Steve, he let go of his hand grip on Steve's arm. "Let's go," asked Dinda. "Not come here anymore, let's just go home."
Dinda precedes her step, she leaves Steve a few steps ahead of her.
Why is he angry? I should have been angry. Steve frowned, Dinda's behavior to Steve was indeed uncontested.
Steve felt guilty, should have obeyed Dinda no problem for him. "Because of the bandana, I have to lower my image" said Steve grumbling.
Steve chased after Dinda who preceded his steps by several meters. "Let's buy a bandana" said Steve lowered his ego. "You can buy everything you want!"
"It's not in the mood anymore" replied Dinda. "Let's just go home, can buy bandana in the land of Abang, no need to go far to buy cheap bandana in Korea."
"You sulking?" Steve turned Dinda's body.
"No,"
"Remain" Steve acted. "Come home now if you don't snack."
"Ih, how insensitive are you, anyway" hardik Dinda.
"So he said no crab," said Steve. "Why are you angry again?"
Dinda clenched her hands, she wanted to hit Steve, yet she did not dare to do so. "Ih," Dinda growled.
Steve gives his face, hoping Dinda will hit him. But because of Steve's scary face to look at, Dinda finally stopped being angry at Steve.
"Let's buy a bandana, or you won't get another chance" Steve bargained. "Don't sulk, you're ugly if you lash, '" said Steve.
At first Dinda refused, but because Steve threatened her with those words, Dinda inevitably had to take advantage of this opportunity.
"Yes, yes, we bought a bandana."
In the end Steve and Dinda went to the bandana store. Steve was embarrassed to have to lower his ego. Steve's image is very incompatible with the bandana that Dinda wants to buy.
Seen in the store, the bandana on display in the storefront is dominated by pink. Steve hates that color.
Colors that remind him of the frenzy. Typical color of women who like to be spoiled and childish.
Not yet relieved Steve, now the teenagers who swarmed the bandana store glanced at Dinda and herself.
Steve was awkward, why were they looking at him with deep gazes. Steve mendeham, hoping they understand his innuendo not to look at him anymore.
Instead of leaving, it was precisely the young teenager who was more than ten people who gave way to both.
Men and women are the same, they don't give Steve the space not to close themselves off from their attention.
"Annyeong," said the store owner. The friendly old man in clean white clothes smiled kindly welcome customers.
"You understand what he's saying" Steve whispered.
"No," Dinda shook her head. "I'm not a Korean, let alone a K-Pop lover. How could I know what he's saying."
"I thought you'd understand!" hatch Steve.
"Excuse me sir, we want to buy bandana's pair," Dinda pointed to the pink rabbit-eared bandana hanging behind the shopkeeper's man.
(Excuse me sir, we want to buy a pair of that bandana.)
The man gave Dinda a request. She understood Dinda a little bit, even though she didn't speak English.
"Why did you buy a pair" Steve said.
"Because of the two of us, then the bandana must be both," replied Dinda.
"How much is it, sir?" Dinda wants to pay. (How much is this, sir?)
The man told Dinda the price to pay was five thousand won for one bandana or thirty-five thousand in Rupiah.
After paying, Dinda wants to pair Steve bandana.
Obviously Steve refused, let alone a lot of people who saw him.
"I don't want to, I'll break my hair" Steve quibbled. "What a pressure," said Steve behaving indifferently.
"Steve," Dinda said. "Cowok in Korea, wear a bandana like this, it's normal. That means their partner cares a lot about his lover. You can't refuse what I give you" Dinda explained.
Steve gulped his bitter saliva, why could he have to cross this damn bandana shop.
"Don't refuse yah, or I won't hesitate to force," Dinda threatened in line with what Steve had said to her.
"Let's go, baby, down" Dinda pulled Steve's collar. Dinda insisted, until Steve's head dropped to his nose.
Dinda paired Steve bandana pink bunny ears. The color he hated the most.
Steve could not resist it, especially the children on the back side of Dinda look enthusiastic to see him suffer with bandana said by the name bunny by Dinda.
"Well, if you're like this, you're very handsome" Dinda said. "Very funny, like a rabbit" Dinda said with her thought of Steve as cute. "Next time, I call you the bunny. It must be cool," concluded Dinda happily.
What's so cool. There I look like a clown, instead of keeping my image, this woman is ruining my image, Steve said slowly.
"Why daydream? Don't you like this bandana?" Dinda interrupted Steve.
"Like it" Steve forced himself to smile. "For your sake I'll do it" Steve rented out quietly.
The teenagers standing behind Dinda said, but Steve did not understand what they meant.
*Korean Language*
Hyung, you are so handsome.
Hyung, you are similar to an idol, from which agency you are Hyung.
*Kya, the perfect couple.
They're handsome and pretty, I want to take pictures of them.
They're not ulzzang, are they?
Similar artists C*** *** ***.
The boys don't know what they're saying, Steve doesn't understand but they're very fussy about Steve's performance. Steve could feel that they were swearing at him. Their auras said that they were cursing but with smiling faces.
"Do you understand what they say?" Steve said to Dinda.
"I told you earlier, I'm not Korean, where there I can understand their language" Dinda replied honestly.
"Oh, yes, I forgot about this, that my girl is stupid," Steve flicked Dinda's forehead.
For some reason, those who are enthusiastic about accepting Steve's touch are the girls in school uniforms, not the cheerful Dinda.
Steve scrunched his forehead, why can those who are excited when he touched Dinda.
Somehow, Steve felt that they were getting carried away when he saw him treat Dinda. Romantically.
Until Steve's idea came out. Steve pulled Dinda's waist to stick to her body.
"What do you want?" Dinda shocked. "Why is this all of a sudden."
Steve did not answer Dinda. He pulled out his phone and took a picture of the two of them.
The few young girls who noticed him felt jealous.
Steve ends his behavior by leaving the bandana shop and the underage children.
Their footsteps now led Steve and Dinda to the Han River. On the edge of the river, Steve invites Dinda to see the city view from the Han river side.
"Where is this?" ask Dinda.
"The Han River" replied Steve. "The place where the background of various famous films in Korea."
"Wow," Dinda was amazed." You know about this river, have you ever watched a Korean drama?"
"Where might men like to watch dramas," replied Steve dismissing. "I know from the website, therefore I know about this place even at a glance," explained Steve. "May read a lot, let's not miss the info."
"Yes, know. Know that you are good at everything" Dinda said.
The wind on the Han River was very cold. Steve and Dinda sat back together. Staring at the corners of the city through the Han river pass.
