Clara stared out the car window. As for this morning Jack drove him to the office, after a very exciting night yesterday made them quite awkward this morning.

Clara shook her head violently as the shadows of yesterday night seemed to continue to cross her head. He thought yesterday would be a scary night because he went with Tiffany and Dean without Jack's permission. But in fact he was wrong, Jack was so gentle with him, even very gentle. Is Jack starting to change a little bit?

Jack's warm touches, hugs, and kisses were so imprinted on him this morning. Secretly Jack glanced at Clara at a glance, while the girl looked dreamy. Jack was actually quite curious about what Clara was thinking. Lately Clara is more daydreaming, especially her face also seems always pale.

Jack who saw Clara wrong behavior just smiled thinly. Before the girl got out of the car, Jack quickly grabbed her hand and pulled her closer. Gave a brief kiss on the girl's lips. While Clara who got the kiss immediately lowered her head in. Jack further widened his smile at Clara's reddened face. Why is Clara so cute by acting like that?

“Thank you, thank you very much for the ride.”

Without waiting any longer, Clara exited the car. Jack chuckled, I don't know how many years he hadn't seen Clara's attitude like that. He likes it, really likes it. Jack looked at Clara who had already entered his office. Jack's smile turned sad. I don't know when Clara smiled next to him. Sooner or later, it will hurt Clara.

Clara now walked quickly to her office, while her heart was racing there. Maybe he was wrong before Jack, why has he been doing so many stupid things lately?

Clara dropped her bag when her body hit someone. Again and again, the stupid thing he kept doing.

“Sorry, I'm sorry.” Clara said softly and picked up her bag that had fallen off.

As Clara looked up her head, she could see Mary looking at her with a faint smile. Clara took a deep breath and threw it away slowly. What other problems did he have to face this time? Even this was still too early to involve himself with the problem.

“I want to talk to you for a minute, come with me!” Mary now spoke sharply and walked towards the side of her office building. Clara took a deep breath before following Mary.

“Do you think all my threats are just messing around?!”

Clara could see Mary looking at her full of anger. Clara just fell silent, she no longer knew how to tell the situation with Mary. Why didn't he ask Jack to decide? All control is in Jack, not him.

“I'm tired of all your threats Mary, you're so stubborn.”

Clara flinched when one hard slap now hit her left cheek. Come on, even the pain of Leo's punch on her hasn't subsided and this time Mary's added to it. Clara clenched her hands tightly. He never retaliated against anyone who hurt him, especially his former best friend. But Mary really always pisses him off.

"Stay away from Jack, Clara!"

“I love Jack, and Jack chose me. You are his past, and will never be his future!”

Mary seemed jolted with Clara's sharp speech. Mary laughed then. Clara who saw him just looked at him in confusion. Is his word a joke?

What kind of nonsense did Mary say this time? A fella? After what Mary had done to him now she said she considered him a friend? Clara still looked at him flatly.

“Six years I waited for you to surrender and now you're trying to fight me?” Say Mary with a cynical smile. Clara clenched her hands tightly.

“Don't cry if I really get Jack.”

Mary smiled grinning. Clara just fell silent, now fear began to envelop her. Mary comes from a distinguished family. And his words are not nonsense.

“No, you won't get it.” Said Clara sharply. Mary still looked at him with a grin.

“What do you guys do?”

Clara and Mary gasped as the men's baritone voices rang out in their ears. A few meters away from the two of them was a man staring at them quite curiously.

“J.. Jack?”

Jack walked closer to them. Clara could see a surprised-looking Jack staring at Mary's presence. For six years, she hid Mary from Jack. And for six years he never asked about Jack's relationship with Mary, and all he knew was that Mary used to be Jack's ex-lover, and that was Mary's information. And he doesn't know from Jack's side, rather he doesn't want to know. He only needs Jack now, not the man's past.

“Mary? What are you doing here?” Mary looked at Jack nervously. He quickly grabbed Clara by the hand and smiled.

“I met an old friend.”

“Oh, you guys know each other?”

Jack smiled at the two of them. Mary seemed to nod in spirit, while Clara looked down deeply. He was too confused by this situation. Jack could see the sad looking Clara. What's wrong with that girl?

“What are you doing here Jack?” Ask Mary with a big smile.

“Oh, I want to meet my fiancee.”

Clara looked up her head and looked at Jack with a look of disbelief. Jack just smiled faintly and grabbed Clara's hand, letting Mary's arm at Clara slip away. While Mary who heard him clenched her hands tightly.

“Alright, I think I should go. See you Clara.” Without waiting for an answer, Mary quickly left the two of them. After Mary is out of sight, Jack now looks at Clara intently.

“You know him?” Jack asked curiously, while Clara only smiled faintly.

“I went to school with him first.” Jack seemed to nod in understanding hearing Clara's reply.

“You know Mary, Jack?” Clara looked at Jack curiously. Jack seemed to think, next the man smiled faintly.

“She's my business partner.”
