The Winged Angel

The Winged Angel
Chapters. 98

The vibration of the phone in his pants pocket made Dea have to reach for the flat object. His eyes that had been staring at Dion turned to the mobile phone that continued to vibrate.

"Yes ce," Dea answered the call.

"Old kok, huh,? No problem, right?" Meylani's voice at the other end sounded anxious.

"Everything's fine, I'll be there now,"

Dea returned to pocket her phone after the call was interrupted.

"I'm sorry, I have to go" Dea said.

But his eyes darted and his body stiffened as Dion hugged him from behind.

"Can our relationship not be repaired anymore,? Is my mistake so deep in your heart,?" whispered Dion.

Dea swallowed the saliva that had already accumulated in his mouth. Her eyes are red. Inside his heart was pounding. Realizing they were in a public place, Dea immediately let go of Dion's hand that was coiled around his neck.

"I have to go, my boss is waiting outside" Dea replied. This is not a good time to talk about personal issues. It's still in working hours.

Not wanting Meylani to continue waiting, Dea again swung a step without turning around or just turning her head.

Dion breathed a heavy sigh. He is not ready to lose Dea. Moreover, Dea reached Dean from his side.

The corner of Meylani's eyes caught the uneasiness of Dea sitting beside her. Ever since they left the campus, Dea had looked gloomy and had nothing to say.

"You okay, okay,?"

Dea gasped, she smiled stiffly as she fixed her sitting position.

" Yes"

That short he answered. Meylani no longer asked. He refocused on driving until they reached the store.

As soon as he got off the car Dea went straight inside.  But his steps stopped seeing a man sitting at the cashier table while playing his cell phone. He stared intently at the man's face carefully. Meylani's voice shocked her.

" When did you come, then,?"

Meylani approached the cashier's desk. The man removed his gaze from the phone and looked at Meylani.

"Fin five minutes like, where are you from,?"

Dea continued to observe the man's interaction with his boss. They look very close.

"She's her husband ce Meylan" a whisper through Dea's ear. He looked up, Jun smiled at him.

The man did not realize that any eyes were watching him.

June pulls Dea's hand back. Because the girl was still dumbstruck on the spot.

"Why you, then,? How pale is that,?" tanta June.

" Huh,?" Dea stuttered.

"You've had meylan's scolding,?" guess June. Dea shook weakly.

" What's Ce Meylan's husband's name, then,?" ask Dea.

Jun frowned looking strangely at Dea. But he answered the girl's question.

" Arya,"

Degs…

All blood flows back to the heart . Her chest is painful. What fate is happening to him,?.

The man was the man who had accidentally met him while crossing the street. The man she believed in was her uncle. Knowing that the man's name is the same as his uncle, Dea becomes convinced that it is indeed his uncle.

" Dea why are you,?" Jun touched Dea's dreamy-looking arm with a pale face.

" It's nothing, brother,"

If it was his uncle, what happened to his mother's sister,? Why he hasn't been home in years. Did his uncle have amnesia?. Various questions came to Dea's mind, so he could not focus on work.

When he returned to the front, he had not seen either the man or Meylani.

The anniversary of the University where Dion attended college lasted until night. But Dion came home early. Meeting Dea this morning interrupted his thoughts. He came to Dea's workplace. He wanted his problem with Dea to be resolved quickly.

"Dion," said Dea.

Dion smiled faintly, he immediately got off his bike and approached Dea.

" You know where I work here,?" ask Dea.

"Didn't we meet this morning at college,? I asked for the address of this store from my rector who met you this morning,"

"Oh"

Dea just oh ria. The two looked clumsy and awkward with each other.

" Want to come with me, huh,?" dion asked after a long silence.

" Where,?"

"You'll know later,"

For a long time Dea was silent about it until she finally decided to nod her head.

Previously Dion drove Dea to the girl's boarding house. Dea reasoned that she wanted to take a shower and change clothes. As with Dea, Dion also went home and changed motorcycles with cars. He planned to take Dea to their place of memory. Perhaps it could bring back the tremors in their hearts and remember that their path was already far away to get to this stage.

"Where are we going, man,? Why use a car" asked Dea when they were on the road.

Dion smiled in response. He tuned a romantic song from car audio. Dea chest feels tight. Lyric after lyric as implying their relationship began to stretch. Especially when Dea remembers the incident when Dean went to his boarding house and left a memory. Dea felt guilty about it, but she couldn't possibly be honest with Dion either. Their relationship is not fixed until it can be repaired.

I don't know where Dion took him Dea doesn't care. Clearly now he felt a great deal of sleepiness. His eyes until watery when evaporating. Maybe because all day in the store so much work that it makes him tired.

" Go to sleep, the journey is still a long way" Dion said.

Dea slid her head against the back of the seat. Slowly his eyes could not be compromised. Unknowingly Dea fell asleep.  Seeing Dea fall asleep, Dion smiled. He then pulled his car over. Then carefully lower the chair so that Dea looks comfortable. And sure enough a moment later a subtle snoring sounded.

Dea doesn't know that Dion brought her back to her hometown. The car pulled over near the park. Dion wiggled softly on Dea's arm. The girl opened her eyes.

He saw the sun had set. Replace it with the moon hanging up there.

" Have you arrived ,?" dea asked, collecting her life.

" Hem, just now,"

" Where is this,?"

" You really don't know where this is,?"

Dea narrowed her eyes, probably because waking up her brain had not worked optimally.

" Let's go down first. You'll find out later," Dion removed the seatbelt that blocked the girl's body.

Dea looked around, he was in a garden. This park is no stranger.

"You don't know where this is yet,?" dion approached Dea and put his finger together.

Dea looked at Dion questioningly.

" Come on, the fireworks are on" Dean pulled the girl to leave.

Eyes widened Dea. Now he knows where he is. He did not expect Dion to bring him back to his hometown. And now they are in the middle of the bridge that runs in the middle of the river.

"You remember the first time we came here, on this bridge I made a promise to ask you to wait for me for 6 years."

Eye of Dea glazed - glass. Her memories drifted far away as she and Dion attended the festival event two years ago. A smile rose on his lips as he remembered Dion kissing him and ending up chasing people.

Dion grabs Dea's shoulder to face her. His thumb rubbed the melted Dea tears wetting the sweet girl's cheeks.

"Back to me. We fix this relationship, we re-knit that story until it's time for you to be all mine. Sorry for all the injuries I accidentally inflicted. I didn't mean to hurt you" Dion's eyes glazed over.

Dea's mouth was locked, she didn't know what to say. Only her tears spilled a sign of guilt on Dion, having once wavered in Dean's presence.  Now he realized, Dion is still the best man. He is still the wingless angel that God sent to him. He should not intend to turn away.

Dea drowned her head in the chest of Dion's field. Spill it all there. Simultaneously, fireworks exploded in the air. The sound of the sobs of Dea sank with the sound of a soul-shaking explosion.

Seriate....
