The Winged Angel

The Winged Angel
Chapters. 84

Dion growled in annoyance as Dea's mobile number was still inactive. He slammed the phone roughly onto the sofa. Then he sat down, rubbing his face. Did Dea deliberately avoid not coming to his house. Think Dion.

Mama Siska who had just finished cooking was about to go to the room to see her first son looking uneasy.

"What's up, son,?"ask mama.

Dion who dissolves with his mind so as not to hear the voice of the mother. He only regained consciousness as the sofa next to him moved.

"Eh, mom,!"

"Mom asked, what's up,?" Mama Siska repeated her question.

Dion breathed a heavy sigh while leaning on his back.

"It looks like Dea won't be coming today" Dion said.

" Loh, why, why,? It's not like you said he'd come today, where you asked Mama to cook a lot,"

"I also don't know ma, from yesterday his phone was off. He's not in his room either."

Mama Siska smiled faintly, she patted her son's shoulder gently.

"Maybe he has an important need, there's another day. Try calling later,"

Dion just nodded weakly. Mama Siska slapped her son's shoulder gently before leaving.

At the hospital, Dea just finished a shower. Simultaneously Sifa also came. Sifa's radiant face made Dea look at her cousin's astonishment.

"Is there something good going on,?"ask Dea.

Sifa gave a smile as the answer.

" What,?"ask Dea.

" Secret,"

Dea rolled her eyeballs.

"Hem, oh yeah, can I have Mas Dean's cell phone number, please,?"said Sifa shy - shy.

Dea frowned, looking at Sifa suspiciously.

"For what, then,?"

"Give it, I want to know him more closely" said Sifa Ketus.

Don't want to take a headache, Dea then look for his phone. But Dea just remembered if he had not yet charged his phone.

" Why,?"ask Sifa.

" My phone's running out of battery, are you carrying a charger,?"

Sifa snorted because her desire to have Dean's mobile number delayed, she reached into the charger from inside her small bag and handed it to Dea.

Shortly after, several people in white suits entered the room and examined the patients one by one.

"How's my grandmother doing, ok?"dea asked when the doctor finished examining Grandma.

"It's much better, tomorrow it can be home,"

Dea breathed a sigh of relief, meaning she could return to the city tomorrow afternoon. However, he has not even a month to work at the insurance company, and it is not possible to apply for leave.

The impatient Sifa wanted to have Dean's number kept urging Dea to activate her phone.

" It's only been half an hour, too" grumbled Dea.

Angrily Dea unplugged the charger cord, and once activated her phone, the girl's eyes widened seeing many incoming messages from Dion.

" Why again,?"sifa's question began to get annoyed at Dea's gelagat.

" I'm sorry, please take care of grandma, I'll call outside for a bit" Dean said in a hasty step out of the room.

"Deaaa," cried Sifa.

An irritated Sifa unconsciously shouted at Dea's name, so the action got a sharp look from the family of another patient. Sifa bowed while apologizing. He forgot where he was now.

Dea stepped towards the corner of the deserted hospital. He then set his breath before he contacted Dion. Dea bit her thumb nail as the incline rang out.

"Where, then,?Why did you just call me, then,? Do you know I'm worried that from yesterday your phone couldn't be reached," while Dion was angry on the other end of the phone.

" I'm sorry, it's urgent. Yesterday I,_"

"Are you deliberately avoiding, then,?"cut off Dion when Dea hasn't finished explaining.

Hearing that Dea nodded. He was silent for a moment.

" Hello, Dea," cried Dion for not hearing anything.

"A.what,?" dion stuttered with a weak voice. Not like that.

"Sorry," said Dion.

Dea sighed for a moment.

"It's not your fault, I forgot to tell you. As for my promise, I apologize for not being able to fulfill it."

"I understand, it's not your fault either. Who would have thought that would happen. How's grandma doing,?"

"It's better, tomorrow you can go home, too,"

"I'd love to go there, but.."

"No, you don't have to come here. All is well."

"Sorry Dea, I wasn't there beside you when you were stricken and stupidly I thought badly of you"

"Hem, I get it. I'm also sorry that I was supposed to be at your house today,"

"Don't worry about it there's another day, and say hello to your grandmother,"

"Yes, I'll tell you later,"

For a moment they were silent with the phone still connected.

"Dea,"call Dion.

"Yes,"

"I love you,"

Dea smiled wryly as she played the tip of her foot on the floor.

" I love you too" Dea replied.

Dea kept her phone back. He smiled with relief. While flipping Dea's body, he saw Sifa standing right in front of him.

"Gosh, are you eavesdropping,?"

Sifa did not reply, she just stared intently at her cousin.

"Give me Dean's cell phone number,"

Dea glared, she shook her head in wonder. Why was Sifa so impatient to have the man's mobile number.

"Do you like it, huh,?" guess Dea while sending Dean's phone number to Sifa.

" It's none of your business" said Sifa. He left after what he wanted.

Dea looked at Sifa who left without saying thank you.

"I don't think he'll like you" Dea muttered.

Dea then returned to her grandmother's room.

After driving Sifa earlier, Dean was confused to direct where the speed of the bike. As soon as the bike was out of the housing complex, Dean arrived - suddenly turned back. He knows where he's headed.

Dean stopped his motorbike in front of the fading green combination yellow painted building, which in front of him was a board reading "Mother's Love Orphanage,"

Yeah, his goal was to go to the orphanage where he had been through his childhood there. Dean got off his bike walking slowly. The atmosphere of the home was still the same at that time. Even the paint of the building is still the same. Nothing has changed, the place is well maintained.

Suddenly a ball rolled towards him, Dean held the ball with his foot. A boy about 7 years old ran up to him.

"That's my ball," the boy looked at Dean a little scared.

Dean smiled. He played the ball with his feet.

"Defeat brother first, then this ball will I give you," Dean said.

Dean started dribbling towards the playing field. The boy was happily chasing after her, not only her. The boy also invited his friends to go after Dean. Dean accompanied the children to play ball. They seemed happy while occasionally laughing giggling.

The game came to a halt when a middle-aged woman came over. Dean's throat was blocked, his eyes glazed over the woman he knew so well. Nothing changed from the woman, only her hair began to look white.

The closer the woman got, the more Dean felt tightness in her chest. The woman just looked at him in wonder as she continued to approach.

"Mother," Dean said as soon as the woman stood in front of him.

Seriate....
