The Winged Angel

The Winged Angel
Chapters. 81

By lunchtime Dean and Dea were back in the office. Dea who is angry and thirsty goes straight to the pantry for a drink. Coincidentally there was Sari who was brewing coffee. Dea was acting normal and greeted Sari as usual.

"Reverse, grandpa,?"tanya Sari is different - stale.

" Sister," Dea answered briefly.

Sari stole a glance as Dea poured water into the glass. Dea who realized Sari was watching her also turned her head. Sari was wrong.

" Hemm, Dea about that this morning,_" Sari noticed the look on Dea's face before she continued saying. He breathed for a moment.

"We don't mean anything, so don't take it too hard, yeah,"

Dea smiled thinly.

"Forget it, brother, it's commonplace" Dea said with great emphasis.

"I want to go ahead first, excuse me," Dea left Sari in the pantry just like that. To be honest, he was still upset when he remembered their conversation this morning. But what power, they say is true.

Another thing with Tika, he behaved as usual. There is absolutely no intention to apologize.

"Dea please help photocopy this 10 sheets yes,"inka.

"Good brother,"

As soon as Tika turned over, Dea threw her fists into the air with an angry face. It turned out that his behavior was caught by Dean's eyes.

" How dare it be in the back" whispered Dean.

The shortest Dea, he immediately turned his head. The distance Dean's face was so close that Dea took a step back. When Dea's body almost hit someone Dean quickly grabbed Dea's waist so that the girl was now in her arms. A second his sight was locked.

"Hey, what are you doing, man,?" tika shouted from her desk.

The two gasped and hurriedly broke away. Both are awkward and misbehaved. Remembering the purpose of photokpoi files given by Tika , Dea rushed to the photocopier.

"Gosh, what was that. How am I pounding,?"inner Dea. He shook his head slowly, dismissing what he was thinking.

Dea lost focus because of the incident. I don't know what he pressed, the copier didn't stop operating. Dea immediately panicked. He pressed a button to stop the machine. But the engine did not stop at all. The heat of Dea was seen by Tika, she immediately approached.

Tika's eyes were rounded when she saw a lot of copies. He pulled the cable of the machine.

"What are you doing, huh,?"snapped Tika. Tika's voice echoed in the room making everyone stare at them, including Dean.

"Sorry brother,"chicit Dea with her head bowed in.

Tika was puffing, her hands clenched.

"You can do no work anyway, just photocopying can not. Look,! All these papers," Tika took out a pile of paper that amounted to almost a rim and thrust it in front of Dea's face.

Dea did not answer anymore, she lowered her head even deeper.

Because of that incident, Dea was called Mr. Bagas out of his room.

"If you don't understand better ask, don't be pretentious" said Mr. Bagas.

Dea squeezed her skirt, regretting her negligence.

" Next time, don't do it again. This is the first warning. I understand because you're new,"

"Alright sir, I'm sorry," said Dea.

Dea's face that looks tangled when out of the room Mr. Bagas invites Dean pity. He approached Dea who was sitting contemplating his fate in the pantry.

"I used to accidentally eliminate money from customers until I was mistaken for misusing the money by my boss at the Bank where I worked before" Dean said.

Dea turned his head for a moment, then looked straight ahead again.

"Errors in work are common, everyone must have experienced. What's unusual is that we make the same mistake every once in a while,"

Dea sighed, without saying anything.

"And one more thing, do not hesitate to refuse Tika's request, because it is not your responsibility, we are part of marketing, more work outside than in the office. Don't let people behave arbitrarily with you, even if you're new,"

A modern-style cafe is tucked between rows of magnificent buildings beside it. Tonight the cafe was full of visitors. At one of the corner tables Dea and Dion were sipping their drinks.

"Where are you working,?"ask Dion.

Dea did not immediately reply, she stirred the ice tea in front of her. Dea let out a long sigh, then threw a glance out the window staring at the vehicle that was passing by on the road.

"Yes so," Dea answered accordingly.

"Are you having trouble at work,?"

"Not really, maybe it's my first time so I'm a little troubled" Dea said, looking back at Dion.

Dion smiled at me. He returned to sip his drink. Dion took Dea for a long time so Dea was astonished.

"Why,? Is there something you want to say,?" tanya Dea looked at Dion's body gesture which seemed like he wanted to convey something.

"Hem, yeah,"

"What,?"

"When the weekend comes home, mom wants to see you" Dion said.

Dea was shocked. He coughed.

"To the house,?"

"Yes, can you, right,?"dion said expectantly.

Dea gulped, suddenly her heart pounded incoherently. Although his relationship with Dion has been going on for a long time, but even though he has never met his girlfriend's family.

"Please, mama always asks you. When I said you work here, my mom was getting more and more urging me to take you home,"

Dea smiled stiffly. On the one hand he was not ready to meet with Dion's family, but on the other hand he could not bear to refuse Dion's request.

"But this isn't common sense - you're a fool, right,?" search Dea.

Dion raised a sharp look.

"If you don't believe me, I'll call you right now" Dion said, pulling out his phone. Dea quickly held Dion's hand.

" All right, I'll be at your house for the weekend,"

Dion smiled happily. He stroked Dea's cheek with his thumb.

When Friday afternoon was just before Dea came home from work he got some shocking news from home. Sifa told Dea that her grandmother fell in the bathroom and was rushed to the hospital. It made Dea panic.

"What's up, then,?"dea asked Dean to cry after answering the phone.

"My grandmother is in the hospital, I have to go home" Dea replied packing her bag.

" Yes let me drop you off" Dean bargained.

" No, I'll just take the bus," Dea refused.

"If the bike will arrive faster, I also want to go home anyway, so all of us together," Dean said.

Dea considered Dean's offer. Dea, who was afraid that something bad might happen to her grandmother, decided to accept Dean's offer.

Earlier he asked Dean to drive him to the boarding house to pick up some of the items he needed.

Seriate....
