The Winged Angel

The Winged Angel
Chapters. 91

Dews scattered the world and the sun slowly showed a beam of light. The chirping of birds started this bright morning. As bright as the heart of a girl who breezed cheerfully towards her workplace.

His meeting yesterday with the Dion family brought positive energy to Dea. The girl was more excited about her day. He is grateful to be met with people who can accept his shortcomings.

His lips occasionally carved a faint smile, if he remembered yesterday's events. When Dion kissed her. Dea's steps came to a halt when he reached the intersection. He waited patiently for the traffic light to turn red to cross. Some people stopped behind him.

Across the street were two men who were about to cross.

The red light flashed, the vehicle began to stop, Dea stepped foot across the road. From the opposite direction appears a man in his late 40s walking in a hurry while playing his cellphone, accidentally the man tangled with people who were against him. The cell phone in the man's hand fell down and was right in front of Dea's feet.

Dea crouched down to pick up the thing. The man was angry at the man who made his phone fall.

"Here's the phone, sir," Dea handed me the phone.

The man turned his head, with a flat face he took his phone from Dea's hand.

Dea's blood rippled, as soon as he clearly saw the man's face. Dea opened her eyes that what she saw was not wrong.

"Thank you" said the man.

But Dea was just silently pecking, with unblinking eyes staring at the man in front of her.

"Did I not look wrong,? Why does this man look like Ardi, or just my feelings," Dea.

The man just passed by, not caring about Dea's attitude fixated on seeing him.

Dea turned around, the man had already almost reached the roadside.

" Om Ardi" Dea called out the name of the man he believed to be the father of Sifa.

The man looked up and felt his name being called. He dizzy looking for people who call him, feeling he did not see anyone familiar figure he stepped back.

Dea's eyes widened, whether it happened to be Ardi's name or indeed he was Dea's uncle, Dea intended to chase after the man to be sure, but it was a pity that the green light was on. He was stuck in the middle of the road. The sound of car and motorcycle horns is unpretentious, because of its position that makes the vehicle road blocked.

Dea was still standing frozen in the middle of the road, due to the crowd of vehicles. Until the red light came back on, then he stepped to the side of the road.

Now his head was filled with the shadow of the man he had seen earlier. Is it true that Ardi or just someone who looks like his Uncle,?.

Until Dea finally arrived at work he was not stopping to think about it. So he didn't hear Dean call him from earlier.

"Dea, "Dean touched Dea's shoulder as the girl was about to walk into the office building.

Dea turned her head, she found Dean smiling at her.

" Why,?" tanyanya polo's.

" I called you from earlier,"

" Oh ,sorry. I didn't hear. Why call me,?" Dea's attitude is still the same as yesterday, keeping a distance with Dean.

"Just want to give this," Dean rolled out a paper bag in front of Dea.

" What is this,?"  With doubt Dea took it.

" Gift for you"

Dea glared, he intended to return because he could not accept it but Dean shook his head first.

"That's not an expensive item, I've been intent on buying you something on my first payday. I beg you to accept it, just think of it as our friendship gift," Dean smiled widely, though his heart was in denial for the word friendship.

"If you don't like it, you can throw it away or give it to someone else" Dean said as Dea opened her mouth to speak.

He was forced to say that, rather than he having to hear the word of rejection from Dea. Dean went in before Dea, before Dea spoke again.

Dea stared at the paper bag, which contained a lady's bag. He felt bad about receiving the gift. Dea took a deep breath, then followed Dean into the building.

It turns out that the incident when Dean gave a gift to Dea did not escape Tika's vision.

Tika stared cynically at Dea as soon as they met in the pantry.

"Even though he already has a girlfriend, but in close proximity to each other men do not refuse," said Tika who knows, because in the pantry there is Sari and one female employee besides Dea.

Dea who was aware of the word was directed at him, tried indifferently. From today, he will not bother with Tika's attitude. After all, the others had no objections to him.

Having gotten too hungry, Dean decided to stop at a restaurant before they returned to the office. The lunch hour has been missed.

"Eat here, yes,"

The restaurant was not too crowded so they could choose a seat at will.

A waiter came asking for their order once they had settled down comfortably.

After the servant left, silence took over. Dea gets awkward, especially after Dean gives her a gift. He became more convinced that the man in front of him had feelings for him.

" Do you like the bag, huh,?"

Dea was shocked. He smiled stiffly as he confirmed his sitting position.

" Like it, thanks for the bag. But you really don't have to do things like that,"

" Why,?" Ask Dean.

Dea scratched his brows, confused as to what would answer.

"Better money in the tube, because it's a waste" replied Dea origin.

Dean smiled. A moment later the two were silent again, until the waiter came to get their food.

Dean's conscious Dea continues to steal glances at him trying to shift his grooves by paying attention to every corner of the restaurant.

"Why look at me, quickly finish your meal. We're too late to go back to the office, "In the end Dea made a sound because she felt uncomfortable being noticed when she ate.

Dean just smiled, inexplicably teasing Dea was fun for him.

Without them noticing, their boss Bagas had just entered the restaurant with a man and took a place not far from them.

" I go to the toilet first" Dea said, rising from her seat. And a nod by Dean.

In the toilet, Dea tried to calm herself down.

"Why do I feel so awkward near Dean," he murmured as he washed his hands in the sink.

He took a deep breath, then released slowly while staring at his reflection in the glass.

"Be as usual, you won't be able to keep avoiding it" Dea's monologue.

After feeling more relaxed, he came out of the toilet.

When going back to his desk Dea's eyes caught someone he knew very well, sitting with his boss Bagas. They looked familiar, looking as if the two were laughing at each other.

"Dion,?" Inner Dea.

"Why does he know Mr. Bagas,?"

"What don't - don't, _"

With long strides Dea approached the table of Bagas's pack. The two men were surprised to see Dea there. Especially Dion, instantly the face changed pias.

" Good day Mr. Bagas,"sapa Dea.

"Good day," replied the Bagas looking nervous.

Dea turned to look at Dion with a sharp and questioning look. What is the relationship between the two of them.

"You know each other, yes" asked Dea, staring at the two alternately.

"Why are you here,?" Not answering, Bagas instead threw a question.

" It just so happened that I had lunch here with Dean," Dea pointed to the table where he and Dean were sitting.

Dion looked in the direction Dea pointed at, sure there was Dean.

"Dion is my nephew" replied Mr. Bagas who made Dea widen his eyes.

Deg.

Dea's chest rumbled, now he had the answer to his question all along. Why he got accepted to work there. All because of Dion.

Seriate....
