Part 6's

Robert quietly continued to monitor the Halinger family. Robert accidentally wore a short-sleeved shirt and black trousers with slippers when proposing to Anne in front of her parents. Actually Robert was also lazy, even though it was just a formality, Robert still had to meet Anne's parents politely and well, right?

Back then, Anne's two parents accepted without much comment. They're so happy Anne's getting out of the house. So, Spencer is the sole heir to everything. Anne's parents embraced the principle that boys are the heirs of all and take care of them in their old days, while girls were kicked out of the house when they were married later.

Anne's parents didn't tell Robert to take care of Anne well or they would destroy her if they dared to hurt Anne. How strange. They only ordered to educate Anne to be independent, even though Anne was more than independent. Being able to have your own home and motorcycle at a young age is an achievement and can be called independent, right?

Anne's parents chatted about the cost of the wedding on whose side it was going to pay. Robert, who knew the miserly brain of his future father-in-law, immediately replied that Robert would pay from his own savings even if it was just a simple wedding. For the contents of the house, Anne has had the furniture complete since KPR 2 years ago. Robert also understood and did not want to increase the burden of Anne by buying this electronics. Robert planned to buy some electronics later slowly so that Anne did not suspect him.

The wedding of Anne and Robert begins. Madame Sandra did not want to take care of Anne's wedding. She did not even want to measure the parents' dresses in bridal because she was busy with work at the Matrial Halinger Company. What kind of mother is this? Well, that's how Ms. Sandra is. What about Mr Ridhan and Spencer? Of course there with Mrs Sandra, which is not willing to help Anne. Nor did she give Anne and Robert any wedding gifts.

Anne and Robert had their wedding set up for a short period of about 3 months. Robert claimed to have a little savings to prepare for marriage, which he then used to use the services of one-stop wedding solution and organizer in the Mangga Besar area. Quite practical because it provides salon services, wedding dresses, make-up, prewedding photos and wedding days, filming videos, catering services and wedding buildings in Asean Tower, Pasar Baru. Fortunately, the salon is experienced so that wedding preparations can be done quickly.

The rest of them like invitation cards and chopsticks, they search for themselves in Asemka. Mrs Sandra and Mr. Ardhan sneered simple invitation cards and souvenirs, but they themselves did nothing.

They go back and forth to take care of the wedding themselves, riding Anne's bike to go everywhere. Actually Robert could have asked Matt to take care of the wedding, but Robert did not want to because he wanted to prepare himself. Besides, she wanted to know how persistent Anne was. Of course in addition, Robert also did not want Anne and her family to know his charade as a bankrupt businessman.

Anne did not want to ask Grandpa Thomas for help and chose to do everything herself. Grandpa Thomas is proud of Anne who is growing up.

Robert and Anne only invited about 250 packages. For bridesmaids, reception and angpaos, Anne asked for help from her office friend and did not rent other dresses due to limited funds. Fortunately Anne's office friend understood and put on her own dress and make-up simply. Bridesmaid is Gusva Adams, the guest recipient and angpao is Tasia Watson and Nisya Robins. Best man is Jeff Nichol, Robert's best friend.

Robert's suit and Anne's wedding dress were included in the wedding package they took. Because Anne wants to save money, then she takes the cheapest package. That means the wedding dress worn is a used dress. Upgrading the dress to a new dress turns out to require an additional 7 million rupiah. Anne would not. Anne wasn't even shy about asking the salon boss for an extra discount. Fortunately, the salon boss is a generous tycoon so it gives a lot of discounts and extra prewedding photo dresses as well as the addition of a free one photo canvas print.

Anne did not ask Robert for any dowry. She is not a materialistic girl and takes advantage of Robert's kindness even though Robert says he can choose any gold jewelry at the Glodok gold shop. Anne would laugh to see Robert's face dumbfounded with the price of gold there. Anne thought that Robert was dumb for not having money, so Anne said that she would buy a pair of 24-carat gold wedding rings. Anne did not like white gold because it was easy to black.

Actually Robert was dumbstruck not because of the price of gold, but usually he bought a super expensive diamond, while Anne only asked for a pair of wedding rings only. Robert promised in his heart that one day he would give her gold and diamond jewelry, as well as other possessions when the time came, if Robert is convinced Anne is a good wife and not crazy about possessions, and of course Robert wants Anne to fall in love with him without coercion and later become the mother of his children.

Robert's parents are gone. So Robert will ask his father's relatives, namely Uncle Dennis and Aunt Mae to be his guardian when in the guarantee later.

Robert had already prepared the necessary documents for the registration of marriages religiously and stately. The wedding ceremony has been arranged and consists of a series of wedding vows with a religious leader, then the signature of the marriage certificate document, and the reception in the afternoon.

Anne actually hopes to at least be able to return the capital with the angpao provided by guests later. If people who don't know Anne might say Anne this is really counting and stingy well? Anne did not want to burden Robert, at least the money could be used to save Robert's business capital and living expenses later.

Robert kept on observing Anne during the wedding preparations. Sometimes Robert laughed to himself in light of Anne's behavior. Especially when Anne wants to come with Robert to eat warteg on the edge of the salon. Anne was unsettled and accepted Robert's offer without much protest. Anne ate rice and chicken. Robert seemed to have to prepare a lot when married later, because Anne was like starving, eating a lot, but her body remained thin.

Wedding day.

Anne was neatly dressed and her dress was pure white. The bridal veil covered her pretty face. Robert picks Anne up at the salon and is stunned by Anne's beauty. Likewise with Anne who was surprised Robert could be this cool with his tuxedo.

After the engagement and the signature of the marriage certificate, Robert and Anne put on each other's wedding rings and the two have officially become husband and wife religiously and nationally.

The afternoon reception was attended by Anne's co-worker and sister from Halinger's family. Catering food is delicious. There are 7 side dishes, namely fried noodles, garlic broccoli stir-fry vegetables, butter fried chicken, sweet-sour fried fish, flour fried shrimp, and gravy meatballs. Then there are three somai huts, ice cream and bolted goats. Although simple, the taste of the food is all good because the chef is a chef from Hong Kong who has long settled in Indonesia. The leftovers are plentiful, and distributed to existing guests. Madame Sandra somehow did not want to take the leftover food when she usually likes to eat da aji mumpung. Perhaps because he did not like Anne and Robert so refused when offered to take home the leftovers.

Sandra did not like Robert because he was considered poor and not a powerful person, so only social climbing when married to Anne. Robert is a rich and successful man who is covering his identity. Even though the Black Diamond Group company had been hit by financial problems, but slowly has bounced back thanks to Robert's hard work to find new investors. It even won the tender of coal mines in East Kalimantan area.

Is Robert proud of his marriage far from lavish? Of course, there was a sense of happiness and gratitude to God for meeting her with the simple and kind Anne.

Anne was grateful Robert was a man who was not complicated and willing to accept it as it is.

Starting from this, Anne's household ark walked. Can he face life ahead with Robert?
