The Unusual Husband

The Unusual Husband
The Part 15

A few days later.

Robert meets via zoom with Matt and several other top executives. They discussed the news about the arrest of Gerry Bush by the police related to cheating when winning a tender for a toll road project in South Sumatra. The impact of the news was the decline in the stock price of the Bush Construction company. Robert did not stay silent, and immediately ordered Matt and his team to buy all of Bush Construction's shares and make it a subsidiary of Black Diamond Group immediately. Well, although Gerry is very annoying, Bush Contraction is still a construction company with a large market share in Sumatra, so it will further expand the expansion of the Black Diamond Group business.

“Immediately buy all the shares of Bush Construction and fix the management. Kick all of Gerry Bush's henchmen and clean the company from the corruptors!” robert exclaimed with fire. Of course Robert was actually very happy because he could make all of Gerry Bush belong to him.

“Good, Sir,” said Matt and his team in unison.

“Next, investigate the management of Matrial Halinger Company and the possibility to acquire it. I think it would be fitting if I also have a building materials company to support the Bush Construction company so that we can control from upstream to downstream and add to our profit coffers,” said Robert with satisfaction.

Matt replied, “Ya, Sir. We will try to investigate this first.”

Robert smiled with satisfaction. He already knew that Mrs Sandra and Mr. Ridhan would give all of her inheritance to Spencer alone. Lady Sandra once told Anne that there was a house in Tangerang that would be given to Anne. However, the Matrial Halinger Company would be passed down to Spencer.

Mrs Sandra and Mr. Ridhan once told Anne that they wanted to spend their old years in a matrial trading shop until death, wanting to be with Spencer alone. They want Spencer to take care of her in her old age. The old saying goes, whoever takes care of the parents until they die, the property of the parents falls to the child. Then, what about other parents who are ordinary or do not have any property, will their children still want to take care of him? Is the reason for keeping possessions for a dear child simply because a wish (or a fear) no one takes care of in old age? Yes it is natural that parents have such thoughts, only, living in this world is not only about worldly possessions ‘kan? Treasure is not brought to death. When facing the Khalik, all human deeds will be judged before Him, whether good or bad, visible and hidden.

Robert understood that the Matrial Halinger Company was naturally bequeathed to Spencer. After all, in general, families in Indonesia embrace the patrilineal system ‘kan. However, it would be better if all the assets of Mrs Sandra and Mr. Ridhan were divided equally for their two children, right? Actually, Grandpa Thomas had arranged to give Anne a memento gift, which was a house in the Gading Serpong area. Currently the house is still rented so that someone takes care of the house.

Actually, Anne did not have a problem if indeed all the property for Spencer. After all it is the right of parents to divide their property to whom and by what amount, ‘kan. However, what made Anne sad was that not even a hint of attention was present. They rarely came to visit Anne's house in Kwitang. Anne understood that her parents were busy working, but I don't know.

When they heard Spencer had chickenpox, they hurriedly looked at Spencer at his house, while when Anne had a floppy nerve, they just told her to go to the doctor and quit her job. When Spencer's relatives died in Tangerang, they hurriedly came to visit, and many other events showed the difference in their treatment to their two children.

Anne's only Singaporean friend, her parents still look occasionally. The distance from Tangerang to Jakarta is indeed far, but not as far as the distance from Jakarta to Singapore or Jakarta to America ‘kan? Moreover, Anne's parents are included in the category of being, of course, it should not be a problem with the cost of gasoline and PP tolls to simply come to visit Anne's house, right? Robert admitted that Anne's parents were stingy and counted once.

Anne once wrote in her diary that if she ever had children, she would not behave like Lady Sandra. He wants to share his affection and wealth fairly, and teach his children to love each other and be familiar, aka not hostile to each other. Especially, if you have a daughter, Anne wants her child to not hesitate to go home to look for her if you need help when you are sick, bother taking care of children, etc. She did not want her daughter to be looked down upon by her husband, in-laws, and family-in-law because her parents did not support her. The point is Anne doesn't want her children, especially her daughters to experience like her. He did not want his daughter to have no skills and only bring themselves when married later. The boy and his daughter will have to have skills, house, gold, and other treasures before marriage to be independent and not considered just bring themselves.

Anne had designed it in her diary. She wants her children to take music courses such as piano, violin etc, in order to become music teachers. Well indeed the profession in the field of music is broad, not only being a tutor, but also being able to play a band and create interesting YouTube music video content, etc. If you work in an office, you are limited to retirement age. But, music skill is lifetime, until old can still work find money ‘kan. In addition to music, there is also a language skill. Anne wants her children to take Chinese and other foreign language courses, not just English. Children can also take courses in tax brevet, graphic design, etc. That's Anne, maybe because she experienced a lot of bitter things, so she designed a lot of ideals for her children in her diary.

What Anne doesn't know is that all of her diaries have been read by Robert, and Robert quickly understands Anne because of Anne's diary's help. There are parts of the diary that are curly because they are wet by tears. There are also parts of the diary that are scuffed because of Anne's great writing when being angry and doodling her diary. Robert had already pulled Anne out of Madame Sandra's infernal house, but Anne had not yet fully freed herself from her heartache prison. Robert wants Anne to be happy. One by one all of them will be removed.
