Chap 5's. Ill-fated

"Hey ! What's the matter ?" Said the man approaching us.

We were all shocked and turned our attention to the person who turned out to be Shira.

"That's enough, stop all this" Shira insisted.

I immediately removed my grasp from Kirei's clothes.

"This brat has been presumptuous of the nobility, they should be punished" Kirei said with his emotions.

"I'm sorry Shira.if they don't insult us, I won't do that" I explained.

Shira perceptively understood the situation that occurred from my and kirei's explanation.

"Kirei. I know we are nobles. But, here we are the same.we are friends, fellow students of the academy.We both study and practice, so no longer do you three insult the children of the village" Shira's reprimand was firm to Kirei, Higatsu and Yoe.

"Curtain !"

Kirei was unwilling to accept that, then left with Higatsu and Yoe to leave us.

"I'm sorry for the behavior of the three of them, they're just not used to meeting people from outside the kingdom" Shira said humbly.

With the arrival of Shira and the departure of the three of them made us a little relieved.

"Thank you Shira, you've helped us again" I said in a bad way.

"It's a good thing you came in time for Shira, otherwise we will be punished" Oda said.

"Thank you for your help Shira" Rin said.

"It's okay, it's my duty to always stand up for what is right and be firm on what is wrong, after all we are friends" Shira replied with a smile.

I, Oda and Rin were delighted to hear that from Shira. We feel as long as there is Shira here, we will be fine.

Shortly after, the four of us rushed to the classroom.

"All right now let's go in" Take Shira.

"Yes well" answered Oda.

We walked to the classroom together. And when we got there I saw that the three children, Kirei, Higatsu and Yoe, were already at the top.

But I just glanced at them with a sharp look then ignored them and we immediately occupied each other's seats.

Classes are crowded and many other children are talking to their friends. However it seems like the three children did not talk so much, probably because they were so annoyed with me.

So did I who didn't talk much at the time. I just don't want to look for trouble with other students and learn to also practice calmly and seriously.

"Yuuta.. Are you okay ?" Ask Oda to watch me.

"I'm fine Oda. I just still feel a little upset" I replied.

"Yuta.. I'm sure you're a strong person, don't let them interfere with your study and practice here" Shira said cheeringly.

I feel so much better after hearing that.

"Thank you Shira, Oda, you're so attentive to me" I said happily.

"What are you talking about ? We are friends" Oda said excitedly.

"Of course" Shira said.

Shortly after about ten minutes passed, Master Hisobu finally entered the classroom and began to open learning today.

After that Master Hisobu invited us all to go to another room to do a test before doing the exercise.

As we entered the room, we saw a magic ball made of crystal in front of Master Hisobu. I think we will soon see the potential of each student.

And sure enough the first thing we did was to measure which amount and capacity we had by attaching the palm to the magic ball. That way the amount of mana we have will appear in the magic ball.

One by one we went forward to see how big we had, until at the end I had the last turn to go forward.

All the disciples were finally able to figure out how much of each one possessed. Oda has a fairly large mana, while Shira and Rin have a very large mana especially Shira. Likewise with kirei, Higatsu and Yoe they had quite a large mana.

But when all the disciples were happy with the result of which amount they had, I was the only one who was not happy.

Because when I put my palm on that magic ball, the result it showed was Zero, or no mana at all.

I was very surprised, confused and a little upset. When everyone is happy with what they have, but only I don't have it.

"What is this ? Why are there only Zero numbers here ?" I asked Hisobu's teacher.

"Is this thing broken because too many people are using it ?" My next.

Oda, Rin and Shira came up to me when they heard my question. All the students who had been a little noisy slowly started to quiet down.

"I'm sorry Yuuta, this thing is a magic ball. He will not be damaged unless it is destroyed" explained Master Hisobu.

"When this magic ball shows you the Zero, it means you have no mana at all" he continued.

Hearing the explanation from that Master Hisobu made me right² surprised and a little sad, as well as all the students that exist.

Oda, Rin and Shira who heard this were also shocked and saddened. Then Oda directly held my shoulder trying to calm me, Rin who felt very surprised and sad just fell silent by bending her arms to the chest. Also Shira who was bowed down was sad.

"Badly, if you don't have mana there's no way you can be a royal knight... You'd better just go home, you lousy kid" Kirei said haughtily and laughed with Higatsu and Yoe.

Maybe only the three of them were happy with it all, because the three of them could continue insulting me.

Hearing that made Shira very angry. He who was downcast sadly immediately turned his head and looked at Kirei with a sharp gaze.

"YOU'RE SILENT KIREI !" Shira said loudly.

The entire disciple and also myself were shocked when Shira a royal prince could be so angry when there was one disciple insulting another disciple.

After a loud snapshot of Shira. Kirei, Higatsu and Yoe were silent at once and did not dare to say anything more.

"Shira thank you, you don't have to come up like that" I said slightly relieved with a small smile.

"Huuuf.... I'm sorry" Shira sighed.

"But teacher... Yuuta can still attend the training in the academy right ?" Rin asked with great worry.

Hisobu's teacher then smiled after hearing a question from Rin.

"This kind of incident is rare, but Yuuta, if you practice diligently I am sure that yours will be active soon" explained Master Hisobu.

Hearing that made me feel relieved and much better. Oda, Rin and Shira are also happy, as are all the students who care about me.

But it seems that only Kirei, Higatsu and Yoe seem to be upset and unhappy with it all.

"Damn it, trash is trash and dogs can never be wolves" Kirei told Higatsu and Yoe.
