Chap 33's. The exam begins

The awaited tomorrow finally arrives, the day that the disciples will be tested and come face to face with monsters and demons in the wild.

All the disciples were gathered near the forbidden forest, along with Guru hisobu and also the Gurus of each Class.

"Alright everyone, before we have done training to compete some time ago in the academy," said Master Hisobu.

"Thanks to that I've already gotten data on your abilities, and you'll be divided into groups of five"

"I have also determined the names of each group, so that each group has a balance with other groups" he explained.

Whispers of conversation were heard from the disciples, asking about who would be his teammates on the exam this time.

Without wasting a long time, Master Hisobu began to mention names and divided us into groups.

The group that was determined by Master Hisobu, turned out to make Me, Shira, Oda and Rin separate.

Of the fifty disciples, we were divided into ten groups consisting of each group of five people.

I belong to group two, along with four other students namely Frey, Julian, Kana, and Mio.

They were quite formidable children, with Frey of the Knight Class, Julian of the Ranger Class, Kana of the Valkyrie Class, and also Mio of the Archer Class.

All have different classes, and that will make us fill each other's gaps.

"Alright, you've got your own group! I hope you can work well together" said Hisobu.

"When this barrier door opens, immediately enter with your teammates! and don't forget to find a safe place to rest!" continued.

"Good Teacher!" compact all pupils answer.

"Go back safely, and don't get killed" said Hisobu.

The door of the iron guardrail opened, all the disciples just moved quickly into the forbidden forest.

Our job at the exam this time was to find a scroll with a royal pin attached next to it.

All of the scrolls numbered ten, and were already placed in certain places,

Each group is also given a map to find out where the scrolls are located.

After being quite far away inside the forbidden forest, me and my teammates paused for a moment to look at the map.

"Hey Frey! where's our original destination?" my many.

"Hmmm, the closest place to our current position is that hill" Frey said.

"Well, let's go there!" say me.

"Wait a minute!" cut Julian.

"What's wrong?" ask Frey.

"What about the danger there?" ask Julian.

"You're right, this is a forbidden forest, so there must be a lot of monsters waiting for us there" Kana said.

Hearing Kana's words made me re-imagine the events of that night, how when I was faced with a demon beast that was very strong.

"Don't worry, I can feel if there are monsters approaching us" Mio said.

"Hem! all right then, the five of us are going to this hill" said Frey.

"Am and Kana will open the way, Mio? you're in the middle! and Yuuta and Julian? you guys take care of the later side"

"Mio will give information if there is a monster approaching, when the position of the monster is known, any of us will immediately finish it"

"I and Kana will get rid of the monsters that are blocking our path, and if there are monsters chasing us, Yuuta and Julian will finish him off," Frey continued to form a strategy.

All seemed to understand and agree with the strategy made by Frey, then we rushed to go to the hill that became our initial target.

"All right, let's move!" said Frey.

Not long ago we moved, those monsters started popping up around us.

"In front are two monsters!" said Mio.

"All right," said Frey.

Two monsters look like pigs and are the same size as us.

"Where!" he continued to signal for attack.

Frey and Kana attack to kill the two monsters that block it.

"Wind Strike!"

Frey used his sword and slashed one of the monsters with wind magic, until his body split in half.

"Fire Hit!"

While Kana with her fire magic, threw her spear right towards one of the other monsters.

*Bhuuuzzz~

The monster was instantly charred to flames as if it were hit by a meteor.

Kana took back the spear she threw while continuing to rush without stopping our steps.

The forbidden forest was a place with countless Monsters inside, even the impact of a fight could attract the attention of other monsters.

Soon I felt that a monster was chasing us.

"From the back! there is one monster chasing," said Mio.

And sure enough, it looks like a monster in the form of a Hyena is running quickly towards us.

I pulled the katana and prepared to attack the monster, but Julian stopped me from doing so.

"Let me!" said it.

While pulling the two swords on his back, Julian leaped high and spun around to perform a long-range attack.

"Wave Slash!"

Shaking both of his swords into the air, Julian cast a cross-curved Water magic.

Instantly the body of the monster was split into four parts when hit by Julian's attack.

I noticed and was amazed by my teammates, as they all had great abilities.

'Isn't every team balanced?' my inner.

'Am I that bad? until put in a team with great students like them?' my mind, feeling useless.

"We'll be there soon" Frey said.

The not-so-distant distance and the ability to track Mio allowed us to move quickly and smoothly enough, so it didn't take long for us to get there.

Until we arrived at the hill, we went up the hill and looked for a safe place to stop for a moment.

"We are already at the foot of the hill, and the location of the scroll seems to be at the top of this hill," said Frey while looking into the map.

Frey closed the map again, and looked around to find a safe way.

"Well let's take this road" Frey said, leading to the road ahead of us.

"Wait a minute" said Mio.

Suddenly we glanced towards Mio who stopped the movement.

"It looks like we have a guest" he continued, looking in a direction.
