Chap 31's. The demon beast

The moon shines brightly over the clear night sky, even without the stars accompanying it.

But in the middle of the peaceful night, there was a commotion in one place.

Shaking bushes, falling leaves, and even tree trunks were scratched as a result of an attack.

A very fierce battle ensued, between me and the demon beasts that appeared in the forest near the house.

The creature continued to attack very aggressively, not only his strength was strong but also his movements were so fast.

Irregular attack patterns make it a little difficult to fight or counterattack.

While continuing to dodge every attack he made, I moved backwards to get out of the forest area.

I jumped out from the top of a large tree stalk and landed in the middle of a meadow near the forest.

"It seems like this is the right place to fight" I said.

I led the creature out of the forest so that he could no longer enter the bushes.

The creature growled and fell silent for a moment, then he lifted his head and looked up at the sky, as if looking at the full moon.

I had absolutely no idea about what he was doing, but just as suddenly the aura that was not wearing it became noticeably stronger.

The feathers seemed to bloom and howl loudly, to make my feathers also stand up.

"What's going on?" ask me.

Maybe I made a mistake when I brought him here, the creature even got stronger when it was directly in the moonlight.

By taking a deep breath, I flowed natural energy throughout my body to increase my strength.

Instantly the unpleasant aura I felt before was no longer felt by me, as if it had disappeared.

The creature began to attack me again by moving very quickly and thrusting its claws towards me.

Sensing the danger coming, I opened my eyes and swiftly repelled the attack with a sword.

Even though it gets stronger under the moonlight, the power of my natural energy is able to keep up with it.

It was evident by his attacks that were not as strong as before, and the aura of intimidation that I no longer felt.

The creature attacked again with his wild fighting style, attacking brutally and the tempo of the attack was difficult to guess.

The indiscriminate attacks from the demonic beasts of beasts as well as the sensitivity to danger I had, made the fight extremely fierce.

Attack after attack continued to be waged against each other, making quite a number of skin-slashing scratch wounds on both the body and face.

Drops of blood splashed and fell on the grass in the field, as if there was no pause in the fight.

To the point of both getting tired, and I wanted to end that fight by killing him.

The creature made an attack by swinging the claw of his right hand, and I quickly lowered my head back while twisting my body to perform a sweeping kick upwards.

The kick struck his right cheek, and made his face bounce.

The sword I was using suddenly shone, as if responding to the overflowing emotions and feelings from me.

The creature's body was instantly split in two as my slash hit it, and made my sword covered in blood.

"I managed to defeat him" I muttered as I watched the corpse of the creature.

The fight was quite draining of energy, thus making my body feel weak when it was all over.

"Well, you look a mess," said my father who suddenly appeared behind me.

I turned to her because I was a little surprised.

"Dad?" muttered.

"I thought you were going to lose when you ran from the woods" said the father.

"Hufh, it is very difficult to fight against the creature inside there, so I thought about pulling it out" I explained with a breath that was still gasping.

"But what happens is that he gets stronger in the moonlight" I continued.

"Well! of course, because it's a wolf demon creature" said the father.

"The source of his strength is the moonlight, when he is under the moonlight then he will grow stronger"

"Especially when the full moon is almost perfect like this," he explained.

Suddenly there was a growling sound, and many burning eyes were seen from within the forest.

Then my father walked slowly and stepped over the corpse of the creature I had just defeated while closing his eyes.

A single breath and father opened his eyes, as a moment an extremely powerful aura emanated from within him.

The aura that I can feel even without increasing the sensitivity of my body with natural energy, to exhale the wind around it.

It managed to intimidate the creatures, and make them go away from there.

"Great! they all just left immediately," said I was amazed by the greatness of father.

"The creatures you just faced, they were always in groups, so you have to be careful when you're in the woods" he warned me.

When all the creatures were completely gone, then my father lowered back the enormous aura and turned towards me.

"All right, it's all done! so let's go home," take dad.

"Eum!" my mouth nodded.

Then the two of us walked home together, leaving the meadow.

"Oh! where's the sword you brought? you didn't break it, did you Yuuta?" he asked me the sword I borrowed.

"Of course not dad, just a little bloodied from the creature" I replied as I gave the sword.

"Aaah, I have to clean it again," muttered the father with a frown.
