Chap 41's. The threat?

I who was sleeping fast began to slowly open my eyes, seeming to have a bright beam of sunlight in the morning sky.

"Ah, is it morning?" My word.

"I have to wake them all up" I continued, looking at Frey and Julian who were still asleep.

"But it seems like I want to pee first" I said, who then walked behind the bushes.

I casually walked through the bushes, but how surprising it was to see what I got back there.

"Well! This is?!" I was shocked when I saw a huge footprint on the slightly damp ground.

"A footprint?" I murmured that soon approached it.

"Even twice the size of my palm," I said as I stuck my palm into the trail.

Meanwhile, it appeared that Kana who had just woken up started to come out from inside the tent with eyes that were still sleepy.

"uh? Geez, they haven't woken up yet?" Kana.

"Oh, Cana! Are you awake?" My hello, who just came back.

"Yuta? Where did you end up?" Ask Kana.

"A-aahaha, I just went around earlier, to make sure the surroundings were safe," I replied with a slight stiffening.

Kana who looked astonished just fell silent, while looking at me with a strange look.

"Alright then," said Kana, as she left the tent.

"Eh? Where are you going?" Ask me.

"I'm going to go to the riverside near here, to refresh my body" said Kana.

"Alright, I'll wake them up too" I said.

After that I walked towards the tent, to check the conditions inside.

"Mio! Wake up, it's morning" said I woke up Mio who was still asleep.

Shortly after, Mio awakens with a consciousness that has not returned completely.

"Emmmh~" muttered Mio, as she sat down.

"Good morning," he said.

"Yes! Good morning" said I, who greeted with a smile.

Slowly Mio started to open her eyes, and gained her consciousness.

"E-uh? Yuuta?!" Said Mio who was surprised when she saw me.

"Yes! It's me" I said.

"Yahoo!"

Mio who suddenly shouted made me very surprised, to wake up Frey and Julian who were asleep.

"Heemhs? What's that sound?" Said Frey who was still in a semi-conscious state.

"Huh?! What was? Why are you yelling?!" Ask me in panic.

"What are you doing here?!" Mio said again asking, with a very surprised expression and a flushed face.

As if protecting his body, Mio clasped both hands on his chest.

"I? Of course it woke you up," I explained.

"Eh?!" Mouled Mio.

"Look! it's morning, it's time to get up and have breakfast" I continued, opening the curtain of the tent wide.

Mio simply fell silent and could not say anything, after looking towards the curtain of the tent.

"Hey! What's the matter? Why so much noise?" Frey asked, who rushed over to me with Julian

"There was nothing, he was just shocked when I woke him up" I explained.

"Hmm? Mio, you've been acting strange lately" said Frey.

"Eh?! N-not really! I'm still as usual, ahaha," Mio replied slightly stammered.

That was the atmosphere of our morning after a long night.

"Dam! You guys, help me!" Shouts of Cana returning from the riverbank.

"Where? You're all right" said I, who was surprised to see Kana.

Looking at Kana who was walking while supporting a girl, Frey and Julian immediately rushed to Kana.

"Daughter?!" Julian.

"Hey Kana's! Hurry up tell me what's going on? And who's the kid?" Ask Frey again who is a little panicked.

"Hold it! quickly help me carry it," said Kana.

"Let me!" Said me, who just grabbed the girl's hand and rebutted her.

"Hold, Rin!" I said to the girl, who was none other than Rin.

"Yuu-ta?" Gumam Rin.

I helped Rin to walk up to our group's tent, which I then helped her to sit there too.

"Eh? What's up?" Asked Mio who came out of the tent.

"Where to bring girls from other groups who are in a weakened state" said Frey.

"Eh?" Mio muttered, who then rushed over with Frey.

"Here, drink!" Said Kana, giving her a bottle of water.

"Thank you Kana" said Rin, who then drank it.

"Rin, what's wrong? Why do you look so weak? Where's your group?" Ask me very worried.

"Every night, suddenly a very large and powerful monster appeared and attacked all of us" Rin explained.

"Monster said?!" Frey asked in surprise, who Rin then nodded her head.

"What kind of monster is that?" Ask Julian.

"He was like a big banyeng, standing on both feet and carrying a big axe in his hand" Rin replied.

"Where are they now, Rin?" I said, asking about Rin's group.

"They are still in hiding, two of us are heavily injured and the rest are trying to heal them" Rin explained.

When I heard Rin's explanation of the characteristics of the creature, I remembered a glimpse of the large footprints I had encountered earlier.

"I myself went to seek help, and thank God I met Kana by the river" he continued.

"Who are your two wounded friends, Rin?" Ask me Again.

"Tetsu! and also Shin," replied Rin who was a little depressed as she recalled last night's incident.

"What?!" Frey said, surprised.

"No way," Julian murmured.

"Even people as strong as the two of them can be defeated?!" Kana.

"Right now, Luciana and Vira are trying to heal their wounds" Rin said, explaining the group's current condition.

For a moment I and the others were still pensively pensive, with questions and prejudices constantly running through our minds.

"Friends, we must help them immediately!" My speech.

"Yes! After all, they are our friends" Frey said.

"Then what about the scroll?" Ask Julian.

"Oh! About that," said I, who then threw the scroll to Julian.

"Huh? This is it?!" Julian was surprised.

"The scroll! How can you have it?!" Ask Kana, a little emotional.

"Actually I found the scroll yesterday, but I think it would be more exciting to surprise you when you're excited in the morning" I explained.

"Basic! You want to look cool, right?" Ejek Frey, who nudged my arm with his elbow.

"Not really, hehe" I replied, chuckling.

"Rin?! Are you all right? Are you hurt?" Worrying about Mio, who approached Rin.

"Ah, I'm better now, thank you for helping me" said Rin, smiling with relief.

"We will definitely help you Rin! If they don't want to help you, then I'll do it myself" I said, reassuring Rin.

It obviously made Rin very happy when he heard it, while Mio who was silent, looked at us with a frowny look.

"All right, now let's go to help our friend!" Frey was excited.

Like a flame that ignites, our spirits all come smoldering with a steady nod.
