Chapter 4: William's Choice

After escaping from the stall of the Goddess Loli, William toured the stalls of the other Temple of the Gods. After spending three days inside the temple, the boy finally decided on the Guardian God he was going to follow.

"Welcome!" A beautiful girl with cat ears shook Williams' hand. “You made the right decision to come here. Our Lord is the best.”

"I know." William blushed as he looked at the God standing in front of the stall. A handsome man, with a noble attitude noticed William's gaze and nodded towards the boy.

Gavin, the God of All Trade stood by his side. William did not choose her to be his Guardian God. Although she had a non-yielding expression on her face, she still respected William's decision and decided to stay with him until he signed his contract.

Many beautiful women were handing out contracts to the people who were lined up in front of their stalls. According to William's estimation, there should be at least over five hundred people queuing up at this particular stall.

What is so special about this store, you ask? Naturally, it was due to the Gods managing this stall. He was none other than “Harem” God and many men both old and young happily worshiped him and became his followers.

"I still don't understand" said Gavin. "Is all your brain located at your bottom?"

Everyone in the queue looked at Gavin with disdain.

William, on the other hand, shifted his gaze.

She's been a dead virgin. It was one of the things he regretted in his past life. If possible, he wanted to make up for this shortcoming. This was the main reason why he chose the Harem God as his Guardian God.

This may sound selfish and embarrassing, but for those who are unable to live a decent life, it is a temptation that is too hard to miss.

Gavin knows how William died. Every god within the temple had that ability. He was very impressed with the boy because he could make such a sacrifice to save someone's life.

Not many people can do that. Perhaps, this was the reason why the Gods gave William another chance to live a better life.

An hour passed and it was William's turn to sign his contract.

“Brother, I am honored that you chose me as your Guardian God,” said Lord Harem with a sincere smile on his face. He takes a glimpse of William's past and sees the sacrifices he made for his younger siblings at the orphanage.

She also admired how resolute she was when she gave her heart to save her lover. This made Harem Good look at William well.

"William, in addition to the blessing you will receive from me as your Guardian God, I will also give you a share of my divinity," the Harem God said firmly. “From this moment onwards, I hereby acknowledge you as my little brother.”

"Brother boy!" William threw his shame into the sewers and shamelessly embraced the Harem God.

Gavin clicked his tongue when he saw this scene, but there was nothing he could do. The only thing he could do was watch as the candidate he liked the most was snatched from him.

“Alright, first things first. Come sign the contract.”

The Harem God waved his hand to call out a contract but nothing happened.

"Um, can you give me a minute?" asked the Harem God awkwardly. "I'll just call Customer Service and ask what happened."

William nodded his head with a smile. He was not worried because these kinds of things happened all the time when he was still alive on Earth. Perhaps, the machine that printed the contract ran out of ink or something. At least, that was what William thought at the time.

"Hello? This is the Harem God. I'm calling because I'm out of contract, can you send me more? ” Harem gods explain the situation at hand.

“Um? Is that so..” Dewa Harem frowned. “Can't you do something about that? Only one more contract will be made! I won't ask for more.”

“Sorry Sir, you have reached your maximum number of followers,” replied the Customer Service Representative. “Even if you ask for one more contract, it cannot be done. The Divine System will not let anyone break this rule. Leave it, Mr.”

Gavin noticed the change in expression of the Harem God and immediately thought of something.

'Maybe ..' thought Gavin. He did not dare to voice his thoughts out loud if he was wrong. Even so, he willingly grasped the thin strand of hope that appeared before his eyes.

"Brother, I'm so sorry!" The Harem God lowered his head. “I have reached the maximum number of followers. I can't add more even if I want.”

Gavin almost did a fist punch when he heard the explanation of the Harem God. 'I know that!'

William was very sad to hear the news. It felt like lining up to buy a limited edition game that he really wanted to play. Then, when it was his turn to buy it, the staff would tell him that they were out of stock!

“Do not worry, brother!” The Harem God pat William on the shoulder. "Even if you don't sign my contract, I will still give you my divinity!"

"Well?!" Gavin looked at the Harem God as if he was looking at a strange creature. Giving someone divinity is different from signing a contract. A contract only gives you ordinary blessings from God.

Divinity, on the other hand, will give you privileges that are at least ten times better than a regular contract. Both of them could not even compare to the long distance.

"H-Hey, are you sure you're going to give William a piece of your divinity?" ask Gavin.

“It does not break the rules.” The Harem God insisted. "This is my brother! Brother swear! I can't make a mistake with him!”

“You're a lucky boy..” Gavin pats William on the shoulder. "This is good news for you, William."

William did not realize how important the Divinity of a God was. The only thing he learned from that conversation was that he somehow got something better than a contract.

The Harem God gave William a chess piece. The boy saw it and felt familiar.

"King?" William's Mumbles. "Is this your Divinity, Brother?"

"Yes." Yeah." The Harem God nodded. “Put it in your soul, little brother. That way, no one can steal it from you. Also, from now on, feel free to call me Brother Issei. ”

William obediently did as he was told and placed the King on his chest. The chess piece shone and entered William's body. He felt that his soul was becoming stronger, but he was still unable to understand what sort of ability he would gain from the Divinity that was given to him.

“Alright, since I have reached my quota, I will follow you until you choose your Protective God.” The Harem God patted his chest confidently. "Don't worry. As long as I've been around, no one has dared to deceive you and force you to become their follower. ”

“Thank you, Brother Issei.”

“No need to thank me. This is the least I can do for you, William.”

William had just finished nodding his head when he heard a familiar voice shouting behind him.

"That's it, Brother!" The Loli goddess, Lily, leaped into her arms like a cannonball.

Everything happened so quickly that William did not have enough time to dodge Loli's attack. Lily held onto William's body tightly as she pressed her little head against his chest.

“Sister, I really like you,” Dewi Loli said. “Why don't you become my follower? I'm willing to give you many benefits. All you need to do is.. ehehe, give me a kiss.”

'A-i ... F*ck!' William shouted in his heart. 'I'd rather kiss a frog than kiss you!'

His body twitched uncontrollably as each fiber of his body tried to escape from the clutches of Loli Granny. Little Loli is unaware that William has seen through her disguise. Lily continues to do her best to act funny and seduce William into becoming her follower.

Gavin grinned as he watched this scene unfold. Another opportunity had appeared in front of him and he would be a fool if he did not use this to his advantage
