Chapter 10: Time to Fight!
“Guwaaaaaaaaaaaah!”
The goblin was sent flying several meters from William's location. The blood on his chest gushed out and stained the ground with a greenish tint.
Two more screams filled with pain followed. The two goblins that had struck the Angorian Goat were also sent flying several meters away from the fallen beast.
The three goblins lost consciousness, which made the environment extremely quiet. William flinched from his daze and hurriedly crawled towards his Mama Ella. He did not even glance at the wooden stick that floated in the air that saved his life and his mother.
“Eyaaah! Yesoo!” (Mama! My mom!)
William hugged Ella's bloody head and cried.
"Aku-ee-eeeh," Ella bleated. Blood splattered on the sides of his face and eyes. Sensing that William was beside her, she licked the baby's cheek before bowing her head to the ground. The Angorian goat has received severe injuries and is on the verge of death.
William continued to cry as he held onto Ella's bloody head. He did not care that his clothes were covered in blood. The Goat's coat was covered in blood and he could feel that his life was slowly receding.

As William cried, he felt something pat him on the cheek gently. As he turned his head, he saw a wooden stick hovering by his side.
"Go! Uwaaaah!”
William hit the wooden stick. As a result of the recent events and the pungent smell of blood filling the air, baby William could not think well. This was the first time he had experienced such a brutal event in his two lives and it made his brain lose its mind.
As his hand touched the handle of the wooden stick, a small ringing sound echoed within his head. The sound carried a calming effect that allowed him to regain clarity of mind.
Although he was still a bit crazy from fear and sadness, he could read the row of words that appeared in front of him.

Seeing her Mama Ella was indeed in a state of near death. William touched the head of the Angorian Goat and spoke the skill aloud. Time is very important and he cannot take it lightly.

William grimaced as he forgot that the battle was far from over. He quickly looked at his status to check if any of the skills he had learned could turn the circumstances in their favor.

William looks at his status and finds that he no longer has any mana points. After he obtained the Shepherd Job Class, his stats had improved greatly compared to the last time. The lack of mana made him feel uncomfortable.
'I have twelve stat points available, ' William thought. "I'll put them all in intelligence and act as Mama Ella's backers."

'It's time to fight!' William placed his hand on the coat of the Angorian Goat and used his skills.

Ella's body shone and grew bigger. Usually, it was only one meter tall. However, after receiving William's grace, his height became one and a half meters, and the horn on his head glowed blood red.
Although it still looked like a docile and harmless goat, its physical strength had grown exponentially.

Ella's horn glowed as it pierced through the Goblin's chest. This time, his horns pierced through the skin of the goblin and tore his heart out like a hot knife through butter. The goblin could only let out a hoarse death cry before falling dead on the ground.

After killing the first goblin, the Angorian Goat pressed both of its front hooves firmly against the ground while using its hind legs to give a powerful kick aimed at the head of the second goblin.
A cracking sound echoed in the cave as Ella's nails shattered the goblin's skull. The second goblin screamed in pain before falling down. The Angorian goat then raised its nails and stepped on the face of the goblin with red eyes.

This was a goblin that had hit his body repeatedly and Ella was eager to crush his face into a pulp. After two hateful steps, the goblin's face gave up, almost turning into meat paste.
Ella snorted before turning her attention to the last goblin who tried to hit William with a wooden stick. Even though he hated the goblin who had beaten him until he was about to die, his hatred for the goblin who tried to kill William had reached an extreme.
Angorian Goats run towards goblins. Ella knew that it was just pretending to be dead, so it would just be left alone. Unfortunately, it has touched the reverse scale. William and Ella had no intention of keeping the bastard alive.
As if sensing that death was imminent, the goblin jumped to his feet and ran away in fear. He did not care about the blood coming out of his chest. The goblins knew that staying would only cause his death.
William watched the goblin while his hand moved into the space in front of him. After killing two goblins, the Angorian Goat had raised its Work Level. Since Ella was registered as part of William's "herd", she had the ability to distribute stat points and her skills.
One of the skills that opened up after Ella leveled up was an attack skill called “Quick Attack”.
It allowed the creature to increase its speed exponentially to deal a blow to its enemy. William did not hesitate and chose that skill. He did not want to let the goblins escape as it might need reinforcements.

The Angorian goat stomped on the ground and attacked the fleeing goblin like a flying arrow.
A pitiful scream echoed within the cave as Ella's bloody horn pierced through her back, piercing her heart.

After confirming that the goblin was indeed dead, Ella returned to William's side and licked his cheek. Not long after, the goblins turned into light particles and disappeared.
William was so happy that he could survive such a dangerous ordeal. She hugged her Mama Ella's neck as the adrenaline began to dissipate from her system.
“Yes. Yeah.” (Let's go back. Mom.)

William touched the ring hanging from his neck. After obtaining his Working Class, appraisal skills were also unlocked. Therefore, he was able to learn the special function of the ring.
With a brilliant flash of light, the baby and goat disappeared from the dark and damp cave and returned to Mordred and Anna's room.
