A month had passed since William arrived in Lont. Morgan only stayed for a week before leaving Hellan Kingdom.
Anna sat on a chair while knitting clothes for her eldest son, Matthew. William was lying on a thick carpet beside him accompanied by the Angorian Goat, Ella.
'I'm glad William is a well-behaved child, ' Anna thought as she glanced at the baby who was drinking Ella's milk.
Little did he know that this "well-behaved child" was busy planning for his future.
Five days after William arrived at Lont, the little baby finally gained enough experience points to level up. This trigger prompted William's soul to fully recover and allowed him to regain consciousness.
At first William was confused. For a moment after waking up, he thought that he was born a goat. He almost panicked and shouted. It was fortunate that his mouth sucked the goat's udder so strongly that it could not make a fuss.
It didn't take long before he calmed down and began to observe his surroundings. After a few days, he was finally able to get the gist of the current situation and calm his mind.

After he was full, William gently patted his Mama Ella to let her know that he had finished drinking his milk.
“Ya!” (Ma, thank you!)
“Meeeeh.”
“Eya.” (Can we go outside?)
The goat lightly shook its head and licked William's forehead.
Seeing that it was impossible to convince his "Mama" to take a walk outside the house, William only focused on the things he could do and that was to check out his Status Page!

'I wonder how I can get a job class?' thought William. 'Still, according to the light novel I read, witches are treated with great respect. Should I choose the Witch route and put all my stats into int?'
Suddenly, William recalled another story he had read while he was still alive.
'If I choose to become a Witch then I might be called a genius, ' William mused. 'I can't let that happen! Genius is treated as a stepping stone by the protagonist. I have to stay humble and surprise them when they least expect it. This is a common pattern for successful reincarnators and transmigrants!'
After careful thought, William decided to hold back his stat points for now and only use them in the future. He believes that as long as he plays his cards right, he will be a winner in life.

A year passed when William lived the life of a baby. Although her life revolves around sleeping, defecating, talking to her Mama Ella, and drinking milk, she said, the boy who only lived for eighteen years in his past life was looking forward to a bright future.
Within a year of drinking milk, William had climbed four levels.

'I gained some stat points for free as my body ages.' William burps. 'Maybe this is also one of Gavin's blessings. However, I wish I could find a way to gain more experience points and get a job class.'
The day passed like all the other days in Ainsworth Manor. After dinner, Anna takes William to their bedroom. Ella followed behind him. When William entered the Ainsworth household, Ella treated him like her own son.
You can even say that she is William's second mother in this world. Wherever William went, the Angorian Goat followed.
The couple made a cozy place for Ella and William in the corner of the room. The baby and his Goat Mama, laid on a thick and comfortable carpet. Ella likes to keep William close to her and even Anna and Mordred can't take William away from her without his permission.
Around midnight, William suddenly awoke from his sleep. He could feel something warm in his chest, so he decided to investigate. His little hand picked up the source of that warm feeling and looked at it up close.
The black ring hanging in his necklace glowed in the darkness.
'What's going on?' William thought while observing the glowing ring in his hand. "The ring's getting warmer."
Suddenly, William was almost blinded by a brilliant flash of light coming from the ring. As the light fades, baby William finds himself in an unfamiliar place. The air smelled moist, and it made him feel uncomfortable.
William crawled on all four legs and observed his surroundings. The ground was rough and stone walls were lined on both sides. On the ceiling hung a small stalactite that made him realize that he was no longer inside the room of Uncle Mordred and Aunt Anna.
William is the half elf who gives him "Dark Vision". Even in the darkness, he would be able to see things clearly.
'W-What the fuck?!' William's body goosebumps as he watched the three creatures slowly approach him from the front.
They have dark green skin and emit a hoarse voice that is difficult to decipher. The three creatures were one meter tall and only wore tattered cloth on the bottom. Even so, William does not need to be a linguist to know who they are and what they think.
'Goblin...' William wanted to escape, but he was just a one-year-old baby who had just learned to crawl. 'Escape! I have to escape!'
He tried to move his body, but he froze on the spot out of fear.
“Krush sha ka!”
“Sha to shelf!”
“Zid!”
The three goblins rushed towards William while waving sticks in their hands.
“Uwaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!” William shouted loudly. 'T-No! Getaway! Mama!'s mother!'
The goblins hit the crying child with their batons without mercy. This is not the first time they have seen a human child. In their eyes, these little creatures were only good as food for their children.
“Meeeeh!”
An Angorian Goat attacked the three goblins angrily. Its red horn glistened in a reddish color and pierced the chest of one of the Goblins. It then sends a kick to another goblin that makes it slam into the wall.
Unfortunately, the third goblin reacted in time and dodged. He then counterattacked and slammed his wooden stick into the back of the Angorian Goat.
“Meeeeh!” Ella bleated in pain, and the goblin took the opportunity to shower more blows on her body.
The goblin that was impaled on his chest by Ella's horn was still alive, and he supported himself while holding his chest.
Another goblin who slammed into the wall joined his partner in hitting the goat crazily.
Blood spilled from Ella's mouth as the baton hit the side of her face.
“Uwaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa! Mama!" William crying. He could only watch helplessly as the three Goblins beat his Mama to death with their sticks.
After receiving too many blows, Ella finally fell to the ground.
“Au-Meeeeh!” The goat called William as if telling him to run away.
“Uwaaaaaaaaaaaa! Mama!"
William saw Mama Ella's feather covered in blood. The side of his face was also bleeding, and his two legs looked broken. The Angorian goat struggles to wake up, but the Goblin kicks him out of anger.
While the two goblins took turns kicking the fallen goat, the third goblin whose chest was pierced by Ella's horn had approached William during the commotion.
It didn't take long before the crying William saw the goblin by his side.
“Kraaaaaa!” The goblin shouted and attacked. He desperately wanted to kill the human baby to vent his perceived anger.
William could only see as the wooden stick descended upon him. Screams of agony followed the attack and the ground was covered in fresh blood as the wooden weapon hit its target wholeheartedly.
