That afternoon the wind was blowing very hard. Hot air mixed with cold penetrated Hana's body. The wind fluttered her hair which today was styled in a semi spiral. The wind covered most of Hana's face. He stood stiff with my eyes. Cleanne sat down while pointing her palms forward. A prayer he said in his heart. Hana's tears flowed slowly to her cheeks.
Still quiet and crying. Hana stared at a tombstone board bearing the name she had at least heard, - Hiroki-.
“I think it's okay if it's you, Hana.” Cleanne said after finishing praying for Hiroki. “Hiroki is here. His body lies helplessly in this grave.”
Hana couldn't say her words. His face was filled with tears.
“about 2.5 years ago, Hiroki had an accident while on his way to Shana's birthday party. At that time he was studying abroad, so Shana and Hiroki rarely met. Hiroki was the one who understood –besides me - when Shana was lonely. Since childhood, Shana has always been left alone in that big house.”
Hana's body trembled hearing Shana's past. Not a single word came from his lips. But her tears kept flowing.
“His mother continued her grandmother's business in Switzerland. The largest jewelry company in Switzerland. Now it is expanding its branches in several countries. Rhena's sister since childhood has been taken care of by her grandmother. As far as I know, Shana's biological father is dead. His stepfather never even visited Shana. After her grandmother died, Rhena's sister was sent back here and lived with Shana. Maybe because they rarely meet, so they never get along.”
Cleanne let out a long breath. He continued his story.
Hana's eyes were wide. The story is almost similar to her. But Shana's story is much more tragic. Isn't Shana's problem much more complicated than hers?
“a few months after Hiroki's death, Shana meets with Tadashi. I don't know why Shana refused Tadashi's presence. Though he was a good guy and understanding.” Said Cleanne while staring at Hiroki's grave.
Hana nodded her head in agreement with Cleanne's words about Tadashi.
“maybe Shana still can't accept Hiroki's departure. But Shana was a strong and kind child. He can get through all this someday.”
“ya, you're right, Cleanne. Behind his arrogance lies a very soft heart, which he deliberately keeps so that no one else hurts him.” Hana said as she wiped her tears. “may I pray for Hiroki?”
Cleanne nodded. He knew how kind Hana was. That's why he sure said this to Hana.
That afternoon Cleanne didn't stay at Shana's. Hannah was sitting in her room alone. It still lingers in his mind the story of Shana. Deep down, he was grateful to still have a family that loved him very much. Looks like Hana won't be able to sleep well tonight.
