The My Hollywood System

The My Hollywood System
Chapter 183

The media agency that 'confirmed' that Will was dead and sold the article on his behalf, was very disappointed when Will woke up from a coma. The story was basically a sweet sellout, even after almost three weeks, the demand was still high.

Now that Will woke up, unfortunately they couldn't discuss the topic.

But because of their adaptive habits, once Will is conscious of the coma, they begin writing and releasing articles about the current situation; namely Will is in a coma, alive and kicking.

One of his articles came from the LA Times which is a well-known magazine. Unlike the other articles on different websites, they take a completely different approach to the article.

It was named "The Dark three weeks Hollywood ".

[Three weeks ago, at a party hosted by Allen Studios CEO Ashton Banasiewicz, Will Evans was found stabbed and he later fell into a coma.

The news is spreading to almost everyone and if you read the article, you should also know about it.

The party, which began and ran normally for two hours, was stopped by a sudden incident. It is also revealed how Matthew Collins, the perpetrator of this incident, has been stalking Will for months.

The reason Matthew stabbed him was because he blamed Will for the loss his agency, MCA, suffered. There have been various reports of him having some mental problems.

Due to Collin's mental problems, police mentioned how he was taken to a mental hospital instead of being detained.

Surprisingly, Matthew Collins didn't go crazy and stabbed Will. Besides, a lot of things came out.

When the police investigate Matthew and his family, they discover that Matthew is running a dark business with his family. Reports, sources and evidence are still under investigation, which also means that there will be no way out for Matthew from what he did.

However, there are some sources who say that there is a lot to come out of this incident and the authorities are investigating.

On the other side of the whole situation, Will Evans was under City hospital care for almost three weeks, unconscious and in a coma.

It has been mentioned in many media articles that many executives from OP Pictures, Foxtar, and Kron Studios have made hospital visits during Will's first week in a coma.

According to our informational sources, they reported how all those upper-class people had been trying to get the best doctors and the best treatment for Will to succeed in regaining his consciousness.

But one can easily question whether it is really due to empathy towards Will Evans? The answer is clearly no.

It is well known that all of those companies, OP Pictures, Foxtar and Kron Studio have one or more projects running with Dream Vision.

OP Pictures has a series deal [Friends], the latest RBO sensation. Kron Studio has the rights to distribute [Catch Me If You Can]. Not much has been revealed about it, but recently, even Tom Hanks was involved.

It is clear how big the film will be.

Lastly, Foxtar has two deals with Dream Visions according to our sources. They are, [Hitch], a romantic comedy and [Sherlock Holmes: A Game Of Shadows].

Considering the numbers, [Friends] has an investment of about $500k per episode, [Hitch] the movie to be distributed by Foxstar has an investment of 70 million dollars, mainly because the marketing costs are maintained quite high. .

Everyone already knows about [Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows] as it is one of the most anticipated sequels in Hollywood, with the first film earning over a billion dollars. So, the budget is probably over 200 million dollars.

Every project that Will engages has a well-planned budget and a really valuable investment when the product comes out. [Catch Me If You Can] has $52 million invested in it and follows what studio executive Kron said in an article, they expected him to produce more than his debut film Leo [Liberty City].

In all of these projects, only [Friends] were released last week and opened with a spectacular number due to Will Evans promoting it himself. The theme song has already reached the top of the charts, being one of the reasons the show is doing so well.

But the main reason is the fact that many consider [Friends] to be Will's last project. Especially since there are many articles that mention it.

OP and RBO studios are already looking forward to continuing the series and it is reported that the deal between them and Dream Vision is for 3 seasons.

It was also reported that the OP studio was keen to do more partnerships with Dream Vision.

Due to the huge partnership Will and the studio have, it is evident that instead of caring for Will, the studio is more concerned with the losses they will incur if he is in a coma for a long time, especially Foxstar who is still waiting. The script [Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows] will be written.

As for [Hitch] and [Capture me if you can], although pre-production is ongoing, the studio is worried that by the time they release, it will be, the media will move on from the topic of Will Evans and these projects will win.t get the same hype as [Friends].

***

Will is still in the hospital bed, looking at the documents in his hand. These are documents related to Dream Vision operations brought by Amanda. Since he was in a coma for a while, there were a lot of things stuck.

On the table, next to Will, there were many gifts given by people he knew, all hoping he would get well soon.

Many gifts came from his fans and some of the actors he had worked with, even those who were not part of the DTA. There is even a set of Spiderman comics given by Stan Lee.

Will hands the file over to Amanda after signing it, one by one.

“How is the state of the company?” He asked Amanda while looking at her. He still looks more or less the same.

Amanda, who took the file and put it on her lap, smiled as she replied, “You and mess.”

These two adjectives describe the entire situation of Dream Visions. Ever since Will got sick, things have become difficult to manage.

“Many employees are worried. It's still a bit of a worry but it's been gone since you woke up, but it takes a lot to function properly because you practically make it like the company won't go wrong until you're there. But after the incident—” Amanda took a short breath.

"Yes?" Would question.

“Well, after that incident, they stopped feeling the protection and confidence they had in themselves whenever you were around. It's more like, the only sane person who made it all work because all the trust we gave you, suddenly disappeared. It's really hard for them because they don't know what the future of the company is without you." Amanda said, be honest with her words.

“Hmm... It must be hard for you to keep everything running. How's the project?” Would question.

Hearing Amanda's words made her realize that things would go awry if one day, she took a big break. He can't leave everything to Amanda and needs to involve more people.

Although there were a few high-paying employees, none of them were the leader type.

“I'm pretty sure you know [Friends] has been released. RBO and OP Pictures can't wait to start the next season next year, but since you're in a coma, they don't voice it. That's pretty obvious." He said with another smile. "[Catch Me If You Can] and [Hitch] basically stopped in the middle of pre-production for over a week." Amanda said while her emotions suddenly did not feel bright.

"Why?" Will asked, realizing his sudden silence.

“It was mainly because no one, literally no one, in the crew could work well. Especially Leo and Marcus.” He said, shaking his head in disappointment.

“That's too bad, what about the others? [Terminator]?” will ask.

“It was suspended for a while but will be able to be released next month. Just as we planned it, [Ultimate Spiderman]. The release date is also the same.” said amanda. Mega works apparently decided to distribute [Terminator] and this will be their second collaboration after [Liberty City].

“I may need a complete list with all details up to now, what to do and not do when I exit.” Will said without emotion.

"Sure, and I heard that the doctor said you'd be able to go home next week." Will nodded, hearing his words. “Are you going to start working soon?:

Amanda knows who Will Evans is. Although he personally did not want Will to immediately start work, he knew his workaholic personality.

"I won't."

To Amanda's surprise.

“I need to spend some time alone, and maybe go on a date with June. I felt like I had ignored him for a while. ”

"That's right. Oh yeah, speaking of that, we have started suing media companies that write too many fake articles about you.” Amanda said in a slightly mocking tone.

It was then that the door of the room opened and an old man entered the room.

Both Amanda and Will's faces turned to look at the man who came with the bouquet of flowers. And looking at the man, Will recalled the end of the video screen he had seen before waking up.

As for that man, he was A shton Banasiewicz.
