The My Hollywood System

The My Hollywood System
Chapter 135

Out of "The Bar with No Name' Leo already knew that he was being followed. He checked his pocket. Unfortunately, he only had a knife

Walking out and into the streets of East Harlem, he looked back and saw that four men, each carrying a variation of a stick, bat, or machete, were staring at him. He kept walking in front, increasing his pace, not wanting to make the police car worry about the motives of him or the people who were chasing him.

When he turns on the road, he has to stop. Across the street was a similarly dressed man walking quickly. Turning around and into an alley, Leo ran at full speed on the wall at the end of the alley.

He ran a few steps from the wall and jumped from it to the fire exit. He could see that those people were following him and running towards him right now.

"Get him!" He heard as he climbed the emergency stairs.

The stairs crackled as he looked down at them, slowly approaching him. Reaching the top of the exit, he banged his head against the entrance to the roof of the building. It locked.

Looking down, he saw those people were only two floors away from him, and he needed to find a way on the roof.

Jumping over the fence at the top of the emergency stairs, he balanced himself as he tried to measure the distance he had to jump to lock the emergency exit of the building opposite him.

Seeing that the people were only one floor below him, he sent a quick prayer to God and jumped up.

He caught the ledge of the emergency staircase from the opposite building and climbed onto the roof.

As soon as he was on the roof, he heard a loud voice say, "AND CUT!"

Looking around him, on the roof, Leo could see that Will was waiting for him, and he had a big smile on his face.

"That was a very good shot. You're really good at monkeys jumping up stairs and across narrow buildings. If you weren't an actor, you'd be a really good acrobat." Would praise.

Leo could not help but smile from his face. He has chosen to do most of his stunts and fights in the film itself, though Will offers to hire a stuntman for him. He had done that in lieu of Robert's advice. Robert has also chosen to do most of his own stunts, and he wants to follow in his friend's footsteps.

Will was very happy with how this scene happened. He had installed cameras all over the alley, from the entrance of 'The Bar with No Name' they had installed to the ledge of the building's emergency staircase, to capture footage of the scene he wanted to build.

He wanted to get the raw footage that he would later edit in order to build his entire scene.

They have obtained permission from local authorities in Upper East Harlem, from the local Police, with the help of Mega Works. Their agreement had been reached, and after obtaining documents with additional clauses that Will had set, he had his legal team examine the documents to check for any hidden loopholes. After not finding it, he signed it, and Mega Works joined [Liberty City], and filming began with incredible spirit.

Dream Vision won't be able to get filming permission as fast as they did, blocking the busy streets of Harlem, he set their locations without the help of Mega Work. They will eventually get it, but the soft power Mega Works brings with its name is something Will can easily harness.

They can use the help of city officials to install lights, clean the road a little to make it a little neater, and import fake models from old-fashioned vehicles. The local community of Harlem has helped set up extras, and Will made sure to invest in the local community to help it thrive along the way.

They helped Jeffery do nine jobs on the road while his Cinematography team handled the heavier workload.

Shaking his head, Will again discussed the continuation of the scene they had just photographed, namely the chase scene with Leo on the roof. The entire scene would take over three days to complete and take accurate notes. Will knows that Leo is very excited to get it done.

"Alright, Robert. I want you to show your character, Don Vulpe's violent side, mixed in with his patient and grumpy personality." Will said to Robert, who seemed to be thinking about the role in his head. Will turned to look at Reagan and said, "Your reaction to his movements is what will sell this shot. He'll point his gun at you. I need genuine fear from you, but still, show full loyalty to him. We have to fear for your life while trying to get out of a situation while simultaneously looking like your brain is working overtime to find a solution to the problem here."

"At the beginning of the scene, I had to point out that while I was patient, I was irritable and worked hard to maintain my composure from having to wait. I thought about adding a twitch movement. Like a quirk, something like tapping his foot, or tapping his finger on the table or his stick." Robert interrupted.

Robert was wearing a black vest with a white shirt. A gold pocket watch was on his pants, and his chair was connected to his chest pocket. He wore a gold ring on his right finger and had a mahogany stick on his left hand, which was caused by a slight limp on his left foot.

Reagan wore a white T-shirt, whose arms were rolled over the elbows. His arms are covered in tattoos depicting skulls, snakes, and wolves in a triad. Her hands were covered in white gloves, and she wore brown pants to complete her outfit.

"Alright, I'll ask Jeffery to set the lights, and we'll start filming. Why don't you two go to the scene, and I'll call when we start, okay?" Will said, and with their nod, he walked towards Jeffery, who was fiddling with the camera.

They were in the studio for this shoot, and they had built up an office space to take the scene. They have built the office to be a little darker but elegant in its design, with wooden floors and bookshelves next to it. The window curtain was lowered, and there was an ashtray on the table, the smoke slowly rising indicating that someone had just switched off a cigarette.

"Jeffery, is the set ready? I want to take that scene." He asked when he reached his friend.

"Yes, I just adjusted the settings here, and I have instructed my team to get clear audio and video in this scene. Props are ready, the gun is ready, with blank in the magazine. Whenever you signal, we'll start rolling." Jeffery told him.

"Well then, let's start this show."

"Boss, we have a problem" Reagan said as he entered the office.

Robert who was writing in some documents sighed, looked up and said, "Do you, Alfie, that my ex-wife once said those words to me. 'We have a problem'. He said those words to me because it turned out, the nonsense did not go his way. Do you know where he is now?"

Reagan stopped, realizing that the tension in the room was increasing every second. He could see that Robert was tapping his finger on the table as he stood up from his seat. He shook his head and said, "No, sir, I don't."

"He's on the beach, in the Bahamas" Robert said as he looked at Reagan. "He was there with his family. I gave her what she wanted."

"I-I don't understand, boss." Reagan.

Robert chuckled and walked up to Reagan as he said, "He wants to enjoy his life, have fun enjoying. You know, I would have wanted that too, but I told him to wait a bit. He didn't want to, so I sent him and his family to the Bahamas permanently." He finished it ominously, "So, it is better that you say the next few words carefully, Alfie or I will arrange a similar vacation destination for you to enjoy permanently. What's problem?"

Reagan gulped, and he said, "Master, Tommy Vercetti's men, i-they..."

"They're what, Alfie?" Robert frowned while brandishing his weapon.

"B-Master, they burned our warehouse and killed our delivery boys; we haven't sent any drugs for the past four days." Reagan squeaking.

Soleness. His words were greeted with complete silence.

He watched as Robert took a deep breath, while continuing to tap on his staff, and walked into the closet. Robert opened the closet and took out a box.

A BANG!

There was a loud noise as Robert fired a gun from inside the box, the bullet hit several inches from Alfie's face, and Alfie ducked for cover, checking his body for injuries.

As he looked at the broken wall, Robert sighed and said, "I want everyone involved in the murder to be arrested. Their families, followed. If Ol' Vercetti wants to fight, we'll give it to him. NOW OUT!"

"And Cut!"
