After previously getting approval from Jimmy, today, James plans to take Jane to the playground. Since today was his day off, the man had decided to spend his time with the woman. Doing various fun things as well as being indirectly therapeutic for Jane so that the woman is no longer afraid to visit crowded places. They also interact with others other than themselves or their families.

“James.” Jane looked back at James intently in front of the man's car. Face pale. He is not unhappy with spending time with the man he loves. It's just that Jane still doesn't feel brave.

“There's me.” James said calmly. The man again landed a brief kiss on the back of Jane's hand which he still held. Hopefully, the woman believes him more.

With some hesitation, Jane nodded slowly. Although it is undeniable that part of him inside there shouted angrily while asking him to stay home. But Jane didn't want to give up either. He was grateful to be able to rise up and be himself. Even without any expectation. But on the other hand, he also still felt afraid to meet other people. Even at Jimmy and Fiona's wedding, Jane must fight desperately to avoid making trouble on her brother's happy day.

“Ayo.” Take James. He opened the car door and looked at Jane. Asking the woman to go inside with a warm smile.

“Did you decide what to play?” James asked when he had just driven his car. Splitting a pretty quiet street. Remember that today is a working day.

Jane nodded slowly in response. In his heart, he was also confused what to do after arriving at wahan playing later. For him, as long as James remained by his side, it was more than enough.

“Then let me choose.” James said with a smile. Before this day arrived, he had been looking around the internet about various things that lovers usually do while on the playground. Any activity that is liked by women while there.

Anything James would do for Jane. Not only for the sake of the woman's recovery, but for Jane also to become a person who is much more courageous, independent and believes in herself. More importantly, James wanted Jane to consider herself valuable. No matter how bad his past was. He wanted her future to be much happier with him.

Nearly twenty minutes Jane stood in silence, looking at the sea of men before her with a pale face. Both of his palms were also giving off cold sweat. So as to make James who was next to him increasingly tighten the grip of their hands.

“Jane, are you okay?” James knew the question sounded so stupid. Even if you look, people can tell if the woman is scared. But James wanted to hear it directly from Jane's mouth. He wanted the woman to say everything she felt. Without hiding a single little thing.

“I–aku—” Jane no longer continues her speech and chooses to stare fixedly at James. But what he got was a warm smile and a soothing look at the man.

Jane realized, everything James did today was for her. The man wanted him to be able to open himself without the slightest coercion. Meet up. Know. Greet. And interact with many people who have never met. Known him. James wanted him to rise up completely. Without shadows from the past. Without excessive fear that makes him prefer to shut himself up. Also ignoring the surrounding situation.

“James, I–I want to be with you.” Said Jane slowly. Realize that he should not waste all the effort that the man did for himself. With a smile, Jane asked James to show her things he had never seen, felt or done.

“Tell me anything you want to say. Today, I will grant all your requests.” James spoke softly as he kissed Jane's forehead. Both corners of the man's lips were raised upwards. Formed one sweet smile that only he showed to his woman.

“Ayo.” James asked Jane to step together.

In his step with the woman, James could clearly see and feel the gaze of several men and women who were pointing at Jane. It wasn't just the woman's sea-blue eyes that stole the show. Also her natural golden-brown hair was sparkling amidst the crowd. But it was also Jane's white skin that made the men look at her without a blink.

“James.” Jane's gentle call made James turn his attention back to the woman. Earlier, he was staring intently at a group of men who whistled softly as he looked at Jane.

“Did you choose what to play?”

“Ya.” Answer Jane. He pointed to a roller coaster game that is not too high.

“You sure?” James asked to make sure. He just didn't want anything to happen to Jane. Which makes Jimmy no longer trust him. Couples plus husband and wife—Alan and Bianca who also threatened him at that time.

To be honest, Jane wasn't sure if the choice was right or not. All he wanted was that his fear could slowly diminish a little. Also his mood improved. As long as James stays with him, then everything will be fine.

“James!” Jane immediately exclaimed with pleasure as she looked at the man with sparkling eyes. He really enjoyed the roller coaster game. After being convinced by James, Jane finally decides to shout as loud as possible. With hope, his feelings could become calmer.

“You thirsty?” James asked as he rubbed the sweat on Jane's forehead. After playing, he immediately invited the woman to sit on one of the long chairs that were empty.

“Ya.” Answer Jane briefly.

“Wait here. I'll buy drinks for both of us.”

Just as James was about to get up from his seat, Jane had already clutched his arm. The woman looked at him with a pale face.

James, who saw Jane's trembling body, immediately hugged her body tightly. Not ignoring at all the shocked gazes or astonishment of the people nearby.

“Jane, everything will be fine.” James knew he wasn't supposed to leave the woman. Given his condition that has not fully recovered. It's just, he wants Jane to be able to face everything herself. Without having to depend on him or Jimmy. It was not that he no longer wanted to be on that woman's side. James just wants Jane to be a strong person.

“So, did you allow me to go for a while?”

Jane did not answer. He looked at the man closely. When she saw James' warm gaze and gentle smile, Jane finally nodded. Sure that guy wouldn't have left her.

“Hai.” James' words were cut short when two unknown men greeted the two of them. More precisely, approaching Jane because their gaze was always on the woman.

“I just want to get acquainted with him.” Say one of the two men.

James' gaze instantly turned sharp. Especially when he felt Jane's strong grip on his hand. Didn't expect at all if the pleasure of the two of them was disturbed.

“You can find another woman.” James flat exclaims. She looked back at Jane, reassuring the woman that everything was okay.

“Just a minute.”

Just when one of the men wanted to touch Jane's hand, James had already gripped her wrist. His gaze turned hostile. Plus both of his jaws are hardened. Today, he has promised to please his woman and does not want anyone to bother let alone to damage it.

“She’s mine!” James said coldly full of emphasis. Like other men who really love their partner, they also do not like it if someone else touches their woman. Especially using the insolent way.

Jane is too precious to him. And letting those dirty hands touch that woman is something that would never have happened.

“Quick go before I make you guys regret.” Lirih James while strengthening the grip of his hand. Even to the point of making the palm of the man he was holding paled.

“Sial!” Take the two men and walk away. Dare not do more desperate for fear of the threat James.

“Jane, we go home, okay?”

Jane nodded quickly after hearing James' reply. Although only a short time, he was already happy to be able to ride the rides and spend time with the man.

Upon arrival at Jane's house, James was more silent. The man also only responds briefly to Fiona's words telling him to go inside and accompany Jane because she has to go shopping for a while. He still feels a little irritated. Especially when returning to remember if two foreign men had wanted to be rude to his lover.

“James.” It's been more than three times that Jane called the man. But I didn't get any response.

The gentle touch on his cheek resuscitated James. It even made the man quickly stare at Jane who was next to him. The woman's face looked sad. Added to the guilt of his eyes.

“What's up?” James asked, holding Jane's hand tightly. I feel guilty for ignoring him.

“I'm sorry.” Lirih Jane with her head still down.

“I'm not mad at you, Jane.” James immediately pulled the woman into his warm embrace. Feeling a little sorry for having shown something bad to the woman. But really, he couldn't hold himself back much longer.

“I'm sorry for scaring you. I just don't like to see others treat you badly.” James was honest. An old kiss he landed on the top of the woman's head.

Jane smiled. He hugged James too. Feeling happy because the man she loves is so caring and protecting her.

“I promise to take you to a much more pleasant place. Where there are only the two of us.”

Jane nodded happily in response to James' words just now. He felt grateful to have met this man. Jane just didn't know if she could really get up and dare to step forward if she wasn't the man by her side.
